1st (6) (15/8 +0%)Roi Du Risk |
15/8(+0%) | (6) Roi Du Risk 15/8, Made a promising hurdles debut when second, beaten 3l, in a maiden at Fontwell last time. Returns from a short break; effective over 2m2f on good to soft ground and looks a leading player. Fontwell bumper winner and ran to a fair level there on his hurdling debut in November. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (14/1 +13%)Three Dons |
14/1(+13%) | (7) Three Dons 14/1, Found little when finishing down the field in a handicap at Southwell last time. From a top course trainer; effective up to 12f on the Flat but has plenty to find now switched to hurdling. Lightly raced on the Flat this year and hasn't been running well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (8/11 +0%)Orderoftheday |
8/11(+0%) | (1) Orderoftheday 8/11, Made a promising hurdles debut when winning a novice event at Bangor-on-Dee by 2l last time. Effective over 2m1f on soft ground and holds a good chance under a penalty. Bangor winner; needs more here under a penalty but he's going the right way. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (11/2 +69%)Bardenas |
11/2(+69%) | (2) Bardenas 11/2, Needed the run on stable debut when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Ffos Las most recently. Returns from a short break; effective around 2m and handles soft ground but must improve on latest effort. French maiden who was well beaten on stable debut in a 2m4f maiden at Ffos Las. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (100/1 -25%)Out Of It |
100/1(-25%) | (5) Out Of It 100/1, Produced a poor debut in a hood when well beaten in a novice hurdle at Lingfield on his only start. Trainer in good form but he is likely to need more time. Also hooded for Lingfield debut and showed precious little. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (400/1 -60%)Geordie Bay |
400/1(-60%) | (3) Geordie Bay 400/1, Made a poor debut after a wind operation when pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Warwick last time. Likely to need more time and now wears a tongue-tie. 300-1 when pulled up in a good maiden hurdle at Warwick; now has tongue tied. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (400/1 -60%)Ifan Full Pelt |
400/1(-60%) | (4) Ifan Full Pelt 400/1, Still learning but showed a little more when fourth, beaten 39l, in a novice hurdle at Ffos Las last time. Usually held up and looks the type to do better once handicapping. No worthwhile form in his first three races and readily opposed. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Having made a winning hurdling bow at Bangor, Orderoftheday is likely to be in the thick of the action once more. Olly Murphy's charge isn't taken lightly, but ROI DU RISK could prove a tough nut to crack in receipt of 6lb. The four-year-old posted a good second on his first attempt over timber at Fontwell and a repeat may prove sufficient. Bardenas may fare best of the remainder.

This may concern two and ROI DU RISK perhaps achieved more in defeat at Fontwell than what Orderoftheday did in winning at Bangor.

5/6(+79%) | (1) Ballymackie 5/6, Below form in new headgear combo when fourth beaten 29l in a handicap chase at Warwick latest; returning from long layoff; effective at 3m in points; back from an absence but can do better for new yard. Dual point winner; 0-4 over fences for previous yard but this 7yo retains potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (4/1 -33%)Moor End |
4/1(-33%) | (4) Moor End 4/1, Scored by 1 1/2l off a 4lb lower mark at Uttoxeter penultimate start; ran to form last time; effective 2m4f on a sound surface; likely more to come over fences. Successful chase debut and probably ran to a similar level when third at Lingfield. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (4/1 -45%)Kapamazov |
4/1(-45%) | (6) Kapamazov 4/1, Ran to form, just found out late by race-fit rival when second beaten 5l in a handicap chase at Market Rasen latest; effective 2m4f-3m on a sound surface; frustrating maiden but seems likely to go well once more. First run since May when runner-up to the favourite at Market Rasen. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (14/1 -87%)Kitsilano |
14/1(-87%) | (5) Kitsilano 14/1, Ran to form just flattening out late up in trip when 9 1/2l third in a handicap chase at Plumpton most recent run; cheekpieces first time; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on Hy, GS; could be running into form for new yard. Not overly convincing claims despite form figures and cheekpieces are added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (6/1 -33%)Dj Pete |
6/1(-33%) | (3) Dj Pete 6/1, Ran to form beaten 3l off this mark at Ffos Las last time; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on S, G; consistent, remains competitive. No wins in 11 but ran well behind an improver at Ffos Las (2m3f, soft). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (25/1 -79%)Great Ballinboris |
25/1(-79%) | (8) Great Ballinboris 25/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Wetherby latest; effective at 2m4f, acts on G; bounce back needed. Well beaten on both outings this season and now 0-9 over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (50/1 -317%)Ffree Pedro |
50/1(-317%) | (7) Ffree Pedro 50/1, Improved again when winning a point at Umberleigh by 11l last time; absent for very lengthy period; effective at 3m on a sound surface in points; could do better yet back under rules. Became disappointing for Donald McCain but went on to win three points. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (66/1 -200%)Pulse Of Camelot |
66/1(-200%) | (2) Pulse Of Camelot 66/1, Below form down the field in a novice hurdle at Newcastle most recent; trainer in form; returning from long layoff; needs to improve. Showed nothing over hurdles but could be a better chaser given old Irish exploits. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MOOR END got off to a flying start over fences when winning at Uttoxeter in October and the Kingston Hill gelding ran well off his current mark last time out with a three-length third at Lingfield. Track, trip and going look ideal, though he won't have things all his own way. Dj Pete has placed twice this season, sandwiching an early fall at Bangor, and he clearly has the ability, while Kapamazov is noted too.

A chance is taken on BALLYMACKIE who ran in some good races over fences last season and retains potential for his new yard.

1st (1) (10/11 +34%)Casa Loupi |
10/11(+34%) | (1) Casa Loupi 10/11, Found little and ran below form when down the field in a handicap hurdle at Windsor last time. Wears a tongue-tie for the first time. Enjoys making the running, best around 2m on soft or good ground, and the drop in grade is a plus. Won two soft-ground handicaps last winter and he's a standout at these terms. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (10/3 +67%)Bigz Belief |
10/3(+67%) | (3) Bigz Belief 10/3, Ran below form when down the field in a handicap hurdle at Taunton most recently. Likes to race prominently, effective from 2m to 2m4f on soft or good ground, and has a chance dropping in grade. Disappointing debut for this yard after 200 days off but he's not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (5/1 -82%)Borna Gem |
5/1(-82%) | (6) Borna Gem 5/1, Showed improvement from her debut when second, beaten 7 1/2l, in a mares' bumper at Fontwell last time. Off for a long spell since, effective at 2m, and makes her hurdles debut in a modest race. Won an Irish point; second in a Fontwell bumper when last seen in September 2024. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (11/2 +45%)Carpe Diem |
11/2(+45%) | (4) Carpe Diem 11/2, Bit below form when third, beaten 13l, in a point at Chaddesley Corbett last time. Returns from a long layoff, effective around 3m in points, and has a chance back under rules at this lower level. In fair form in points earlier this year and returns to rules action at a realistic level. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (25/1 -108%)Upthereforthinking |
25/1(-108%) | (5) Upthereforthinking 25/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle here last time. Returns from a long absence, effective around 2m, and could be competitive at this level if fit. 0-4 for this yard, last time beaten about 12l in a C&D handicap. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point-to-point winner BORNA GEM is an unknown quantity over hurdles but she won't need to be anything special to take this against largely out of form opponents. Casa Loupi is officially rated the best horse in the field by some margin but he was last of nine at Windsor last month and needs to get back to form, while Carpe Diem runs over hurdles for the first time since December last year and is interesting.

All of these are risky. CASA LOUPI is the most talented so he gets the nod despite a forgettable reappearance.

4/1(+56%) | (5) Rodney 4/1, Below form after a fall comfortably held in a handicap chase at Warwick last time; was going to win the departing late the time before; in good form prior; effective 2m-2m3f, acts on S, G; could bounce back. Would have won at Bangor had he not fallen; failed to back that up at Warwick. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (10/3 -78%)Two To Tango |
10/3(-78%) | (7) Two To Tango 10/3, Ran to form when beaten 3l off this mark here last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f on a sound surface and may have more to offer over fences. Still a maiden but consistent and has performed well in both his chases. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (4/1 +33%)Plantaroma |
4/1(+33%) | (8) Plantaroma 4/1, Flattened out when stepped up in trip back from a layoff, well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Worcester last time. In good form before that and returns from a short break; effective around 2m on a sound surface; contender now chasing. 0-8 over hurdles but often placed and has had wind surgery ahead of this chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (11/4 +54%)Jackpot Cash |
11/4(+54%) | (4) Jackpot Cash 11/4, Below form in new headgear combination when 22l third in a handicap chase at Plumpton last time. Effective from 2m to 2m5f on a sound surface; needs to find more. Dual chase winner; this ground will be more favourable than at Plumpton last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (9/1 -100%)Sun Art |
9/1(-100%) | (1) Sun Art 9/1, Ran to form when finishing fourth, beaten 14l, in a novice hurdle at Taunton last time. Effective at 2m on a sound surface and looks the type to do well over fences. Doesn't look on that good a mark unless able to improve for fences, which is feasible. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (13/2 +54%)Flamelco |
13/2(+54%) | (3) Flamelco 13/2, Made too much use of when well beaten in a handicap chase at Aintree last time. Returns from a short break; effective at 2m and handles soft to good to firm ground. Current mark looks fair. Second at Sedgefield before a remote finish at Aintree; doesn't arrive here in flying form. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Pep Talking made all at Wetherby in November and had his excuses before pulling up last time out at Wincanton. If he is over his problems he can go well off the same mark, but SUN ART intrigues on his first start over fences. Related to winning chasers in France, he won over hurdles back in March but might be far better suited by the larger obstacles. Two To Tango is noted as well.

Emma Lavelle's TWO TO TANGO has performed well in both his chases and a breakthrough win looks very near.

2nd (4) (6/1 -20%)Smile Back |
6/1(-20%) | (4) Smile Back 6/1, Produced her best run over hurdles when second, beaten 4 1/4l in a handicap hurdle here last time. Effective at 2m4f on soft ground and a mare with more to offer. Well beaten by Stamina Chope here last time but she has an appealing pull in the weights. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (14/1 -250%)Stamina Chope |
14/1(-250%) | (8) Stamina Chope 14/1, Won cosily when running to form down in trip to land a handicap by 4 1/4l off an 8lb lower mark here last time. Effective from 2m4f to 3m1f on soft or good ground; remains well treated on old form and could follow up. Second at Bangor last month and the following day she went one better over C&D; up 8lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (10/1 -150%)Olivia Kate |
10/1(-150%) | (6) Olivia Kate 10/1, Won comfortably when landing a handicap by 8 1/2l off a 7lb lower mark here last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and handles any ground; back in form and a good chance on latest effort. Raised 7lb for recent easy win here and they also claimed 5lb; still respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (33/1 +0%)Tarbuck |
33/1(+0%) | (3) Tarbuck 33/1, Found nil and needed the run when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Wetherby most recently. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and suited by cut, but inconsistent and should come on for that outing. Uttoxeter winner in February but he's been well below that level both starts since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (9/2 +0%)Dinofromberlais |
9/2(+0%) | (2) Dinofromberlais 9/2, Improved when beaten 2l off a 2lb lower mark here last time; effective 2m, acts on GS, G; more to come. Only his second run in a handicap when runner-up over shorter here four weeks ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (11/1 +45%)Strong As Steel |
11/1(+45%) | (9) Strong As Steel 11/1, Had too much to do in a race dominated from the front and needed the run when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Doncaster last time. From a top course trainer; effective at 2m on soft ground and needs to build on reappearance. Best run was in a bumper and he's struggled to find a foothold over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (33/1 -106%)Ruler Of The River |
33/1(-106%) | (10) Ruler Of The River 33/1, Below form when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Sedgefield last time. Back from a short break; effective from 2m to 2m4f on any ground but needs to bounce back. Twice disappointing since her successful stable debut in September; had wind operation. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (40/1 +20%)Pougie |
40/1(+20%) | (7) Pougie 40/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Exeter last time. Effective at 2m on soft ground but needs to show more in handicaps. Seven-race maiden who was pulled up on his handicap debut at Exeter when an 18-1 chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (50/1 -100%)Walkinthecotswolds |
50/1(-100%) | (5) Walkinthecotswolds 50/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las last time. Effective at 2m4f and suited by plenty of cut, but has a bit to prove after a poor reappearance. Only 1-11 over hurdles and was pulled up at Ffos Las after a lengthy break. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JHENTONG ENKI came good on the soft going at Lingfield on only his second start for Ben Pauling's yard. He landed a conditional jockeys' race with plenty left in the tank and will likely prove a warm order in this, given he escapes a penalty. Maiden hurdle winner Dinofromberlais placed in a higher grade handicap here last month. He merits serious consideration, while Olivia Kate could also shape well.

There are alternatives to Jhentong Enki and DINOFROMBERLAIS (nap) looks nailed on to improve for this step up in trip.

9/2(-13%) | (8) Heeztheboy 9/2, Travelled well and improved when landing a handicap by 3 1/4l off a 7lb lower mark at Hexham last time. Trainer in form. Effective from 2m to 3m and handles heavy or good to soft ground. In fine form this autumn and remains competitive off a revised mark. Very nearly 4-4 for this yard and the front two were clear when he won at Hexham. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (10/11 +52%)The Bluesman |
10/11(+52%) | (2) The Bluesman 10/11, Improved for the switch to fences, landing a handicap by 6 1/2l off an 8lb lower mark at Southwell last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and handles soft and good ground. Almost certainly has more to offer. Impressed on chase/handicap debut at Southwell; might well cope with the 8lb rise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (9/1 -13%)Miralago |
9/1(-13%) | (3) Miralago 9/1, Outpaced and looked in need of a stiffer test when 13l third in a handicap chase at Haydock last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and suited by cut in the ground. Highly tried in France, better latest, and worth a step up in trip. Five-time winner in France; beaten 16l and 12l in his two runs for this yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (4/1 +33%)Moonshine Man |
4/1(+33%) | (7) Moonshine Man 4/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 9 1/2l, in a handicap chase here last time. Effective around 2m4f and acts on good ground, though may not handle softer going. Merits consideration. Runner-up in two of his three chases, last time here left behind by the winner. |

5th (5) (12/1 -200%)Noche Negra |
12/1(-200%) | (5) Noche Negra 12/1, Jumped well, travelled, scored with loads in hand in landing a handicap by 9 1/2l off a 12lb lower mark at Warwick last time; returning from long layoff; effective around 2m4f, acts on Hy, S; 12lb rise asks more from a year off. Warwick winner last December but under a 7lb claimer and he's 12lb higher now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (18/1 -125%)Hecouldbetheone |
18/1(-125%) | (1) Hecouldbetheone 18/1, Unsuited by soft ground and didn't stay when 39l third in a handicap chase at Doncaster on latest run. Enjoys racing prominently and is effective over 2m to 2m4f on decent ground. Generally consistent when conditions suit. Ground was perhaps too soft last time but others might be better handicapped. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A bumper and hurdles winner for Paul Nicholls last year, THE BLUESMAN made a winning start over fences at Southwell on his debut for Olly Murphy's yard. The six-year-old should have plenty more to offer in this discipline and is taken to edge out Hecouldbetheone. The latter disappointed at Doncaster last time, but could feature given his previous form was encouraging, while Moonshine Man and Miralago are others to consider.

The 6yo THE BLUESMAN could easily make light of the 8lb rise he earned for winning at Southwell.

2nd (2) (7/2 +65%)Bingoo |
7/2(+65%) | (2) Bingoo 7/2, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Haydock last time when returning from a long layoff. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and acts on soft and good to soft ground; needs to bounce back. Won at Aintree two years ago off 5lb higher (2m4f, soft) and now in a new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (4/5 -40%)Gentleman Toboot |
4/5(-40%) | (1) Gentleman Toboot 4/5, Improved from debut under positive ride down in trip when winning a novice hurdle at Exeter by 2 1/2l last time; effective 2m-2m6f on Hy, GS; form franked, progressing, bit more to come. Made it 2-2 over hurdles when beating Boxing Day Kempton winner Klub De Reve this month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (40/1 -100%)Justus |
40/1(-100%) | (4) Justus 40/1, Poor run back hurdling when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Wetherby last time; tongue-tie first time; effective at 2m on S, G; bounce back needed. Back hurdling after a lengthy break at Wetherby and was well behind Double Oban. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

GENTLEMAN TOBOOT has won both starts in novice hurdles. David Pipe's charge followed his initial success at Newton Abbot with a comfortable victory at Exeter and could prove better than his opening mark now handicapping. Double Oban came out second best in a scrap to the line at Wetherby last time. He could give the selection the most to think about and confirm latest running with Justus.

David Pipe's unbeaten hurdler GENTLEMAN TOBOOT could easily be too good for these on his handicap debut.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
