2/5(+52%) | (9) West Of Bally 2/5, Showed minor promise on debut when comfortably held in a 2m maiden hurdle at Galway last time; should improve with experience and a longer trip may suit. Second in a point, hint of promise on hurdling debut, could go well for leading local yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (15/2 +53%)Castle Croiuil |
15/2(+53%) | (4) Castle Croiuil 15/2, Made mistakes and was outpaced on a disappointing handicap debut when down the field in a handicap chase at Clonmel last time; needs to find plenty more. Point winner, has failed to make any impact over fences, latecomer to hurdles as an 8-y-o. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (14/1 +0%)Grey Gardens |
14/1(+0%) | (6) Grey Gardens 14/1, Made a modest debut when well beaten in a 2m4f maiden hurdle at Wexford last time; likely to need more time to develop. No threat when 40-1 in Wexford maiden hurdle won by a well-fancied stablemate, may improve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (13) (25/1 +24%)Koolio Kate |
25/1(+24%) | (13) Koolio Kate 25/1, Green and made mistakes when well beaten in a 2m4f maiden hurdle at Clonmel last time; yet to show any promise. No sign of winning potential in four outings, remote seventh over 2m4f at Clonmel in April. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (66/1 +0%)Apalachiyeats |
66/1(+0%) | (1) Apalachiyeats 66/1, Outpaced and continued in poor form when finishing down the field in a 2m4f maiden hurdle at Clonmel last time; has shown nothing of note in bumpers or over hurdles so far. Tailed off in a bumper, no worthwhile form in three starts over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

25/1(+0%) | (14) Opera Point 25/1, Needed the run when down the field in a 2m5f handicap chase at Clonmel last time; wears a tongue-tie for the first time and looks best judged on her race times. Respectable fifth in an 18-runner handicap at Cork in April, has had a recent chase run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (66/1 -65%)Bangor Lady |
66/1(-65%) | (11) Bangor Lady 66/1, Showed greenness but improved from her debut when down the field in a 2m maiden hurdle at Thurles last time; likely to need more time. Pulled up on debut at Ballinrobe, finished in front of two stragglers at Thurles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (9/2 +18%)Butch Coolidge |
9/2(+18%) | (2) Butch Coolidge 9/2, Improved from his debut when well beaten in a 2m maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan last time; yard won this last year; effective between 2m and 2½m and looks one for handicaps after a short break. Superb pedigree, only hints of ability; took on stronger opposition last time, may improve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (66/1 +0%)Shanroe Nelson |
66/1(+0%) | (8) Shanroe Nelson 66/1, Ran to form when down the field in a 2m maiden hurdle at Naas last time; effective between 2m and 2½m and should benefit from another run for a mark. Down the field at Naas recently on first run since a single outing the season before last. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (28/1 -155%)Mistyburn |
28/1(-155%) | (7) Mistyburn 28/1, Showed improvement from debut when finishing down the field in a 2m maiden hurdle at Naas last time; effective at 2m on good ground; more to come based on point and bumper form but likely in handicaps. Point winner, mild promise over hurdles, came to the attention of the stewards at Naas. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (3) (80/1 -21%)Casafierna |
80/1(-21%) | (3) Casafierna 80/1, Ran to form when finishing down the field in a 2m4f maiden hurdle at Clonmel last time; yet to show any worthwhile ability under rules. Tailed off in two bumpers, only marginally better in two maiden hurdle outings at Clonmel. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (10) (150/1 -200%)Aboras Mahler |
150/1(-200%) | (10) Aboras Mahler 150/1, Has yet to show any sign of ability; returns from a short break with all to do. Completely tailed off in a bumper at Sligo, similar at Listowel, no hurdling experience. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (5) (22/1 -57%)Deanery Charlie |
22/1(-57%) | (5) Deanery Charlie 22/1, Failed to build on debut when outpaced and down the field in a 2m maiden hurdle at Galway last time; may be one for low-grade handicaps later on. In good hands, feasible that he can leave two nondescript performances behind him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (12) (250/1 -213%)Golden Order |
250/1(-213%) | (12) Golden Order 250/1, Continued in poor form when comfortably held in a 2m maiden hurdle at Galway last time; usually held up and yet to show any ability; may need more time. Poor form in bumpers and has made no impact in small-field maiden hurdles at Galway. |

WEST OF BALLY has shown promise in a point-to-point and a hurdle, and now drops to a winnable maiden. Runner-up at Loughrea before selling for 26,000 pounds, he disappointed in a Listowel bumper in September but didn't run badly in a smart Galway maiden hurdle last month when finishing just behind King's Bucks, who was subsequently placed at Grade 2 level. Butch Coolidge, out of top racemare Solerina, has been well beaten in two hurdles, but performed well in a smart Cork bumper in August and should progress. Grey Gardens has a useful pedigree and is open to some progression.

Not much worthwhile form to go on. Eric McNamara may have the solution with WEST OF BALLY, whose Galway fifth was quite promising.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (4/7 +71%)Torps |
4/7(+71%) | (10) Torps 4/7, Improved when second, beaten 3l, in a maiden hurdle here last time; effective at 2m on soft and good ground; steadily progressive and should find a maiden soon. Conbsistent sort was second over C&D last time; a repeat of that should see him go close. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (13) (9/4 -105%)Kmil Du Seuil |
9/4(-105%) | (13) Kmil Du Seuil 9/4, Pulled up in the Honeysuckle Mares Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) over 2m4f at Fairyhouse last time; tongue-tie applied for the first time; from top yard; likely to leave debut form behind. Pulled-up in a Grade 1 on debut for this yard; can do better with a tongue-tie on return. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (8/1 -14%)Justatan |
8/1(-14%) | (4) Justatan 8/1, Green on debut and comfortably held in a bumper at Wexford last time; has a lot to find. Dual point winner was well beaten in a bumper on return but can do better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (200/1 -203%)Listentomewillya |
200/1(-203%) | (5) Listentomewillya 200/1, Too green to show anything when well beaten in a maiden hurdle over 2m5f at Galway on his only start; all to prove. Tailed-off in a Galway maiden hurdle on debut and can't be fancied on that run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (125/1 -150%)Live My Dream |
125/1(-150%) | (6) Live My Dream 125/1, Modest debut when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Cork last time; showed nothing in points and has plenty to prove. Not a lot of encouragement from two point runs or Cork maiden hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (33/1 0%)Coup D'essay |
33/1(0%) | (1) Coup D'essay 33/1, Fell in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park last time; went off at a big price on debut and may need more time. Started 100/1 for a Gowran maiden on recent debut and fell at the first; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (125/1 -89%)Sock It To Me |
125/1(-89%) | (9) Sock It To Me 125/1, Outpaced on a modest debut when well beaten in an auction hurdle over 2m1f at Clonmel; may need a bit further than 2m. Well beaten in a Clonmel maiden hurdle on recent debut and others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (3) (66/1 +0%)Deebert |
66/1(+0%) | (3) Deebert 66/1, Outpaced and never threatened when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park most recently; 2m may prove on the sharp side again. Beaten a long way in a Gowran maiden hurdle recently and huge improvement needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|R| (12) (50/1 +0%)Dictionary Corner |
50/1(+0%) | (12) Dictionary Corner 50/1, Mahler filly; full-sister to Youdecide, moderate at 21f; likely to need more time. Decent pedigree and worth a market check on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (2) (100/1 -52%)Crypto Crash |
100/1(-52%) | (2) Crypto Crash 100/1, Ran to current form when beaten 6l in a handicap over 7f at Leopardstown last time; returning from a break and has plenty to do. Regressive Flat maiden seems best watched on hurdles debut for a new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (200/1 -100%)Mister Rockefeller |
200/1(-100%) | (7) Mister Rockefeller 200/1, Yet to show any real signs of ability; returns from a short break with much to find. Well beaten in a maiden hurdle in 2023 and on the Flat in September back after an absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (11) (50/1 +0%)Young Mans Game |
50/1(+0%) | (11) Young Mans Game 50/1, Berkshire gelding; half-brother to Florey Spud, fair at 20f; yard not known for debut winners. By a useful young sire but is likely to improve from this debut. |

KMIL DU SEUIL was pulled up in a Grade 1 in April but is surely better than that, having finished third in a smart French AQPS maiden in June 2023. Thrown in at the deep end when struggling at Fairyhouse, her jumping was poor but she now wears a tongue-tie and should progress. Torps was third in a useful Listowel contest in September and ran well at this venue last month. He is race-fit and dependable, but is vulnerable to a smart type. Dual point-to-point winner Justatan, a 74,000-euro purchase in April 2024, returned following a 575-day layoff at Wexford last month and should improve from the run.

A consistent sort who was runner-up over C&D last time, TORPS (nap) can go one better for his local yard.

1st (7) (4/1 +50%)Doyen Magic |
4/1(+50%) | (7) Doyen Magic 4/1, Ran to form when third, beaten 6½l, in a handicap chase over 2m1f at Clonmel on latest outing. Fair mark on chase form and could be competitive again. Made a lot of the running when fourth behind the in-form Kobalt St Georges at Clonmel. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (5/1 +50%)Music Of Life |
5/1(+50%) | (3) Music Of Life 5/1, May have found the ground too testing when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Gowran Park last time. Previously in good form and effective from 2m to 2½m on yielding or good going. Second in two races over further in September, fifth behind Carry On Heidi at Clonmel. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (20/1 -25%)Classy Cc |
20/1(-25%) | (4) Classy Cc 20/1, Needed the run on handicap debut when well held in a handicap hurdle at Punchestown last time. Cheekpieces applied for the first time; effective over 2m on good ground, but current mark requires improvement. Last of six finishers on handicap debut at Punchestown last month, cheekpieces added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (13/2 -44%)Carry On Heidi |
13/2(-44%) | (1) Carry On Heidi 13/2, Improved when fourth, beaten 9l, in a Listed novice hurdle over 3m at Cork last time. Effective from 2½m to 3m and a multiple 3m point winner who continues to progress under rules. Looks well treated for handicap debut. Winner at 2m4f, ran respectably over 3m latest, trip may not be ideal but could feature. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (9/2 +10%)Run For The Border |
9/2(+10%) | (5) Run For The Border 9/2, Improved to win a maiden hurdle here over 2m3f by 1½l last time. Effective at 2m3f and acts on good ground; steadily progressing though her opening mark asks for more. Improved display to win a 2m3f maiden at this venue a month ago, shorter trip a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (5/1 +72%)The Sugarhill Lady |
5/1(+72%) | (6) The Sugarhill Lady 5/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m5f here last time. Effective at 2m but currently out of form. Questions to answer now having been pulled up in three of her last four races. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (9/2 -13%)She's On Line |
9/2(-13%) | (9) She's On Line 9/2, Stable has won two of the last five renewals of this race. Returned to form when beaten a head off 79 over 2m1f at Clonmel last time. Effective at 2m, though stamina beyond that remains unproven. Went close against a well-backed favourite at Clonmel, leading chance with a reproduction.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (12/1 +52%)Cloudy Fountain |
12/1(+52%) | (8) Cloudy Fountain 12/1, Fell when beaten in a handicap chase over 3m2f at Fairyhouse on most recent run. Returning from a long layoff but had shown progressive form previously. Decent form in the first half of last year, lost her way subsequently, off since January. |

CARRY ON HEIDI has been busy recently and drops in distance, but ran well in a Listed race last time. A dual point-to-point winner, she had Music Of Life six and a half lengths back in fifth in Clonmel and although 9lb worse off, she ran well at Cork subsequently and will be suited by testing ground. Doyen Magic finished behind two nicely-in rivals over fences at Clonmel and is rated 5lb lower in this sphere, so should compete. She's On Line and recent course winner Run For The Border could also figure.

The versatile filly BHEAN SAIBHRE should be in good shape for her return to hurdling almost seven weeks after a good Flat run

1st (5) (11/4 +21%)Lenjoleur De Palma |
11/4(+21%) | (5) Lenjoleur De Palma 11/4, Did plenty early but ran to form when beaten 1/4l off 91 here last time; effective at 2m; a consistent sort with more to come for his new yard. Close third over C&D last time; up 2lb but should go well if handling this softer ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (9/2 -64%)Onefortheditch |
9/2(-64%) | (1) Onefortheditch 9/2, Every chance and ran to form when beaten 2 1/4l off 87 over 2m1f at Clonmel last time; effective over 2 1/2m to 3m; a consistent hurdler, better in that discipline. Consistent lately; this trip might be a touch sharp but handles soft and can be involved. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (25/1 -25%)Le Fanu |
25/1(-25%) | (7) Le Fanu 25/1, Stopped quickly, needed the run, and may have found the ground too quick when down the field in a 2m3f handicap hurdle here most recently; fair mark on previous form; interesting at a price. Below form twice earlier in the year and needs his best on return from a break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (25/1 +38%)Back To Cali |
25/1(+38%) | (4) Back To Cali 25/1, Outpaced and never threatened when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown most recently; likely to need further than 2m in time and probably one for longer distance handicaps. Well beaten in four points and three maiden hurdles but could do better now handicapping. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (8/1 -14%)Finnicky Filly |
8/1(-14%) | (8) Finnicky Filly 8/1, Ran to form on chase debut when fourth, beaten 7l, in a 2m1f handicap chase at Clonmel latest; effective at 2m on good ground; a modest maiden. Ran well in defeat at Clonmel the last twice, over hurdles and fences; needs more to score. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (15/2 +17%)Donnrua Dream |
15/2(+17%) | (6) Donnrua Dream 15/2, Needed the run when well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Roscommon latest; off a short break; suited by plenty of cut but appears regressive. Should have improved for stable debut after a break last time and might not be far away. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (33/1 -65%)Falcon Park |
33/1(-65%) | (2) Falcon Park 33/1, May have found the ground a bit quick when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Thurles most recently; suited by 2m with cut and may need to drop a few more pounds. Has yet to hit form for this yard and not easy to fancy at present. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (12/1 +40%)Fernhill Fling |
12/1(+40%) | (9) Fernhill Fling 12/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Cork latest; from a yard that won this race last year but basement mark not enough to recommend. Had an excuse when pulled-up at Cork when last seen; still needs improvement on return. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (15) (12/1 +64%)I Feel Fine |
12/1(+64%) | (15) I Feel Fine 12/1, Never threatened on handicap debut when well beaten in a hurdle at Thurles latest; usually held up; effective at 2m and acts on any going; can do better when upped in trip. Beaten 35l on handicap debut at Thurles (hampered); loads of improvement needed; reserve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (14) (80/1 -60%)Masterstonemason |
80/1(-60%) | (14) Masterstonemason 80/1, Found nothing when down the field in a handicap hurdle at Listowel most recent; off a short break and looks regressive. Last win came over C&D in March 2022; can't be fancied on recent form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (9/1 +10%)Nazine |
9/1(+10%) | (11) Nazine 9/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 8 1/2l, in a handicap hurdle at Thurles latest; effective between 2m and 3m; inconsistent and not one to rely on building on that revival. Ran well enough at Thurles last time and a repeat can see him involved. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (13) (18/1 +10%)Boston Bongo |
18/1(+10%) | (13) Boston Bongo 18/1, Raced far too freely when down the field in a 2m1f handicap hurdle at Clonmel most recently; a frustrating maiden who may prefer some give in the ground. Too keen when well beaten at Clonmel last time but overall form needs improving upon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (12) (50/1 +0%)Willuhaveamineral |
50/1(+0%) | (12) Willuhaveamineral 50/1, Pulled up in a 2m2f handicap hurdle at Listowel latest; hood applied for the first time; off a short break; showed little in maidens at 2m and has plenty to prove. Pulled-up at 66/1 on handicap debut at Listowel and isn't easy to fancy on that form. |

ONEFORTHEDITCH has been a model of consistency in recent months and may gain a deserved win. The seven-year-old won a point-to-point and two hurdles last year and filled the runner-up spot behind Jaadil at Cork last month. She reverts to hurdles after again finishing second behind the progressive Kobalt St Georges at Clonmel, with Finnicky Filly over four lengths behind in fourth. Lenjoleur De Palma wasn't helped by a blunder early on his first start for current connections and rates a serious threat having gone close subsequently here. Kingdom Calling and Nazine are others to consider.

Probably left in front a bit too soon when headed late on over C&D last time, LENJOLEUR DE PALMA can make amends today.

25/1(+0%) | (10) Fortunate Outcome 25/1, Improved slightly down in grade when down the field in a maiden hurdle over 2m3f at Clonmel last time; returning from a long layoff; effective around 2m2f and handles heavy ground; must progress again to defy current mark. Not much to show for four maiden runs but can do better in this grade. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

18/1(+45%) | (12) Hakensack 18/1, Made mistakes and disappointed on handicap debut when down the field in a 3m handicap hurdle at Galway last time; effective around 2½m but yet to show much. Well beaten in two handicaps lately and not easy to fancy. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (50/1 -52%)Mr Eastwood |
50/1(-52%) | (3) Mr Eastwood 50/1, Found little when down the field in a beginners' chase at Sligo last time; blinkers on for the first time; effective at 2m2f on good ground over hurdles and may get a bit further; needs to build on recent improvement. Poor in two chases lately but a hint of ability in maiden hurdles; blinkers added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (14) (10/1 -11%)Perfectway |
10/1(-11%) | (14) Perfectway 10/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 7l, in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Clonmel last time; stable in good form; effective around 2½m but an exposed maiden. Decent runs on two of last three; same mark and be involved with a repeat. |

12th (13) (9/1 +64%)Younowhatimean |
9/1(+64%) | (13) Younowhatimean 9/1, Up in trip and may not have stayed when down the field in a 3m handicap hurdle at Down Royal last time; currently out of form. Regressive maiden after 15 hurdle starts isn't easy to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (7) (3/1 +50%)Johnny Cakes |
3/1(+50%) | (7) Johnny Cakes 3/1, Ran to form when beaten 2l off 86 over 3m at Galway last time; effective from 2½m to 3m and handles heavy and good ground; steadily progressive, and the slight drop in trip should suit. Off the mark at Punchestown in February; can improve from Galway return so a player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (33/1 -50%)Crossgaleschicflic |
33/1(-50%) | (11) Crossgaleschicflic 33/1, Needed the run when down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Fairyhouse most recently; returning from a long layoff and has a bit to find. Poor back after an absence at Fairyhouse when last seen and not high on the list. |

GAELIC DES CHASTYS has won twice since joining Eric McNamara last year, including on his penultimate start over fences at Listowel. He again shaped well over C&D last time when beating all bar Rhythmic Tune and remains on a competitive mark. Maciver handled heavy ground well when completing a four-timer earlier this year, including a hurdle and chase win at this venue. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market following an eight-month break, while Perfectway and Johnny Cakes are others to consider. The latter should benefit from his reappearance at Galway last month.

Having looked to get tired late on at Galway on return, JOHNNY CAKES can improve enough from that to score

2nd (5) (9/2 +50%)Roc My Haarth |
9/2(+50%) | (5) Roc My Haarth 9/2, Needed the run when well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Clonmel latest; effective at 2½m and suited by some cut in the ground. Likely to be sharper than when no threat in seventh behind Sallap at Clonmel last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (25/1 -79%)Milanaway |
25/1(-79%) | (7) Milanaway 25/1, Returned to form on chase debut though well beaten in a beginners' chase over 2m2f at Thurles latest; effective around 3m and, still a maiden, should build on that reappearance. Well-exposed maiden, placed in seven of her 17 starts over hurdles, often placed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (8/1 -7%)Grace Faraday |
8/1(-7%) | (4) Grace Faraday 8/1, Needed every yard when running to form to land a handicap by a head off 90 at Galway last time; effective from 2m6f to 3m and remains on a workable mark. Good stamina to win over 3m at Galway with the strong-finishing Barryroe Madam in third. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (10/3 +58%)Nettuno Italia |
10/3(+58%) | (6) Nettuno Italia 10/3, Keen and outpaced with too much to do but relished the step up in trip when fourth beaten 5l in a Fairyhouse handicap hurdle; suited by 3m or further and can improve with a stiff test. Beaten favourite in races at Roscommon and Fairyhouse since return from a break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (12/1 +25%)Dalmatic |
12/1(+25%) | (9) Dalmatic 12/1, Failed to find much and needed the run when down the field in a 2m handicap hurdle at Thurles; effective from 2½m to 3m and suited by plenty of cut; must leave that reappearance form behind. Should be better for an outing over an inadequate trip 19 days ago, worth a market check. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (50/1 -52%)Shanroe Act |
50/1(-52%) | (11) Shanroe Act 50/1, Yet to show much, finishing down the field in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse most recent; absent for a very lengthy period and needs to find plenty more. Weak maiden form, showed little in three handicap runs at Fairyhouse two seasons ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (12) (11/2 +45%)Queen Kulina |
11/2(+45%) | (12) Queen Kulina 11/2, Ran to form when beaten 1½l off 79 at Galway last time; cheekpieces applied for the first time; trainer in form; effective around 2½m and running back into form. Solid display when close up in fourth over 3m at Galway last month, cheekpieces added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (22/1 -144%)Chasing Crowns |
22/1(-144%) | (8) Chasing Crowns 22/1, Improved up in trip when beaten a head off 85 at Down Royal last time; usually held up and effective at 3m; unexposed at the trip and could build on latest effort. Creditable third in a 20-runner event at Down Royal last time, same 7lb claimer aboard now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (14) (11/1 +31%)Rewrite The Script |
11/1(+31%) | (14) Rewrite The Script 11/1, Continued in poor form when down the field in a 2m7f handicap hurdle at Listowel most recent; wears a hood for the first time and needs to improve. Now 0-16 hurdling and has generally struggled off lowly marks in handicaps. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (25/1 -108%)Tropical Image |
25/1(-108%) | (3) Tropical Image 25/1, Scored by 5l off 86 over 2m6f at Listowel on her penultimate start; ran to form when sixth beaten 9l off 95 last time; effective from 2½m to 3m. Easy winner of a Listowel handicap over 2m6f, failed to cope with a 9lb rise at Sligo. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (13) (80/1 -300%)Cuguilla |
80/1(-300%) | (13) Cuguilla 80/1, Outpaced and jumped abysmally when never threatening to land a blow, finishing fourth beaten 65l in a 2m7f maiden hurdle at Thurles; tongue-tie on for the first time; usually held up and effective at 3m. Has finished in front of only a small number of rivals in four maiden outings. |

SALLAP won over an extended 2m6f at Clonmel last month and could be coming here in search of a hat-trick only for a fall at the last when leading at Thurles. The Sam Curling-trained mare has scope for further improvement off her lowly mark and may now have most to fear from Barryroe Madam, who won over a similar trip at Listowel earlier this year. She was given plenty to do when narrowly beaten by Grace Faraday at Galway last time, with Queen Kulina close up in fourth. Hees Dynamite won twice over hurdles here last year and now reverts to the smaller obstacles after scoring twice over fences, while Chasing Crowns is another for the shortlist.

This looks open. A hopeful vote goes to NETTUNO ITALIA to atone for two instances of beaten favouritism since his return from a break.

1st (2) (5/4 +38%)Mossy Way |
5/4(+38%) | (2) Mossy Way 5/4, Had too much to do at a sharp track when fourth beaten 6 1/4l in a bumper at Thurles last time; returning from a long layoff; effective over 2m and in fair form, with a stiffer track likely to suit. Good runs in two of three starts, poor here the other time; big chance if back to his best. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (25/1 -108%)Lord Lackendarra |
25/1(-108%) | (1) Lord Lackendarra 25/1, Did too much too soon but showed slight improvement when comfortably held in a bumper over 2m1f at Clonmel last time; effective at 2m and acts on any ground, though form remains inconsistent. Has run respectably at times in defeat in 10 bumpers but has to find improvement. |

1/1(-37%) | (5) Tip Of The Wings 1/1, £95,000 Wings Of Eagles gelding; half-brother to Kalahari Diamond, very useful at 16f; from a top trainer; point winner. Made 95,000GBP in April having won a point and is a big player on rules debut. |

4th (7) (40/1 -43%)Torque De Lune |

22/1(+21%) | (3) Orion D'oryvil 22/1, Yet to show any real signs of ability and difficult to recommend at present. Well beaten on his only completed point start and can't be fancied on rules debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (11/1 +45%)Switched On |
11/1(+45%) | (4) Switched On 11/1, Sea The Moon gelding; dam was high-class over 12f; likely to need the experience. Decent pedigree but likely best watched on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (80/1 +0%)Abelene |
80/1(+0%) | (6) Abelene 80/1, Has yet to show any real signs of ability and needs to improve considerably to be competitive. Poor in two maiden hurdle runs last April and can't be fancied. |

MOSSY WAY beat all bar the smart Koktail Brut on debut at Fairyhouse and again advertised his claims when fourth behind Le Labo in a Thurles bumper that has produced a list of subsequent winners. Tip Of The Wings is an obvious threat having won a point-to-point in decisive fashion at Daramona House in March and was sold the following month at Aintree for 95,000 pounds. Lord Lackendarra has plenty of experience and showed some promise on a number of occasions, including when third at Tramore this summer.

Debut point winner TIP OF THE WINGS appeals most making his rules debut for Gordon Elliott having made 95,000GBP after that win.
Ths is the racecard key.
