18:15 Lingfield (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Solanna deserves a change of luck having filled the runner-up spot on his last two starts but, although respected, the vote goes to TATMEEN. Beaten a neck over the mile on his handicap bow here in April before going one place better when upped to this trip at Kempton latest, there should be more to come and a 5lb rise might not be enough to halt his progress. Meleri is another to consider.

Solanna is second choice behind TATMEEN who improved when upped to this trip at Kempton last time and is selected to follow up.

18:45 Lingfield (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A difficult race to unpick with many of these having something to prove, so only a tentative vote can go to CASUAL ENCOUNTER. Andrew Balding's filly has made little impact in her three starts so far but she's a half-sister to City Spirit, who won over an extended 1m3f for these connections, and it is interesting that they opt for a classified contest over handicaps. The saddle slipped on Drouthy Neebor when having to be pulled up at Wolverhampton (sent off favourite) recently and could be worth another chance, while Jack Langley is also noted.

Drouthy Neebor drops into classified company for the first time but CASUAL ENCOUNTER may be able to improve now stepped up in trip.

19:15 Lingfield (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lope De Vega colt Beckford's Folly is an obvious player on debut given his connections. It's slightly concerning that he sports a hood, though, and SHAATIR is preferred. Archie Watson's charge kept on well enough for third at Chepstow recently and that experience ought to stand him in good stead, with stall six a real positive too. 150,000gns purchase Balthamos warrants a market check.

Daretobedifferent showed plenty on debut but SHAATIR is taken to build on his Chepstow effort and get off the mark.

19:45 Lingfield (Class 4) 4f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SUGAR HILL BABE bounced back to form when scoring readily over 5f at Nottingham last month and the five-year-old is the one to beat on that evidence, despite a 6lb rise. Glamorous Breeze also won on her most recent outing but that form is more questionable. With that in mind, Tourist could prove to be the main threat if reproducing the form that saw him win at Bath two starts ago.

Glamorous Breeze should be involved but TOURIST is given another chance to confirm the positive impression he created at Bath.

Ghostman has to be noted following his success over C&D two weeks ago but a 3lb rise demands more of him now. As a result, preference is for ANOTHER ABBOT, who was only beaten a head into second off this mark at Redcar recently and he may have more improvement left to come. Others to note are Solar Edge, Pouting and Sandscreendeliverd.

There are races to be won with ANOTHER ABBOT (nap) off this mark and he can get the better of Pouting and Sandscreendeliverd.

20:45 Lingfield (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It is very hard to oppose ME TARZAN, who scored in impressive fashion over 7f at Leicester a week ago and a 6lb penalty for that success may vastly underestimate this unexposed gelding. Latona has not been disgraced on her last couple of starts and she could make the frame in a race of this nature, while similar comments apply to My Boy Harry and Up The Anti.

Faster ground and the possibility that a visor won't work so well a second time are slight negatives but ME TARZAN is hard to oppose.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
