17:45 Lingfield (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Francesco Baracca returned to winning ways over 1m6f at Bath earlier in the month and can cope with this drop in distance to go close, but he might come out second best to LENNY'S SPIRIT. The seven-year-old made a highly encouraging first start for the Denis Quinn stable when bolting up over 1m2f at this venue last month. He has a 10lb higher rating to contend with, but that is unlikely to prevent him from going in again. Laser Focus is the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to LENNY'S SPIRIT, who took advantage of a reduced mark when scoring by 6l here on his recent stable debut.

18:20 Lingfield (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SKIMMING ALONG showed a great deal of improvement in a first-time hood to score at this level at Brighton earlier in the month. Daniel Steele's four-year-old makes only his second outing on turf and is unexposed over this distance, so he looks the one to beat. Irezumi finished second behind the selection last time and may fill that spot again, while Formal Address is also considered after his third in a handicap at Brighton.

Last-time-out winner SKIMMING ALONG is taken to confirm placings with Irezumi.

18:53 Lingfield (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LOVETHISWAYAGAIN progressed from her introduction to finish just over four lengths clear of the third when hitting the woodwork at Redcar last month. The daughter of No Nay Never may only need to reproduce that level of performance in order to get off the mark. Sparkling Pink outran her odds of 40/1 to take the silver medal home at Brighton and she might get into contention. True Test changed hands for 20,000gns as a yearling and warrants a market check on her debut.

This looks LOVETHISWAYAGAIN's to lose, with her comfortably setting the standard on last month's clear Redcar second.

19:23 Lingfield (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Based on her likeable pedigree, LATYNINA should be capable winning races and has shown ability in both her previous starts. Admittedly, she found much less than obviously expected when she hit the front at Thirsk 15 days ago and proved to be a costly odds-on favourite when she was overhauled by a newcomer towards the finish. However, she is a work in progress and is very likely to be a good deal wiser now. Antalya and I Can Imagine can give her the most to think about.

I Can Imagine may have been flattered here last time but LATYNINA looks the one to beat on either of her efforts to date anyway.

19:55 Lingfield (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLUE COLLAR LAD bounced back to form in fine style to win over C&D a fortnight ago and could be well placed to cope with a 7lb higher rating if the blinkers have the same impact second time around. Buy The Dip is a fellow course-and-distance winner that looks a key player on the back of a couple of near misses over a mile at Brighton, while Otago is dangerous to underestimate, given he is a 7f specialist.

Buy The Dip holds decent claims but a chance is taken on DARK SUN, who's low mileage and offered more over C&D last time.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Banksman and DESERT CHARM won their respective divisions of a classified race at Yarmouth last time. The former will likely feature once again, but Mike Murphy's filly was the more impressive winner. She scored with plenty left in the tank and another good account seems assured. Taskheer won at this level on the Polytrack here back in February and could make his presence felt.

The vote goes to DESERT CHARM, who's from a decent family and won with something to spare on her turf debut. Banksman is next best.

20:55 Lingfield (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A dual winner on the all-weather, RUSHEEN BOY opened his account on turf when routing the opposition at Yarmouth. He has a hike in the weights to contend with, but an apprentice's 7lb allowance helps on that score, and the four-year-old looks worth sticking with. Brunel Charm has won twice on the Polytrack this year and is likely to prove competitive racing off a much lower mark back on this surface, while Beelzebub is preferred to Brighton winner Silky Robin of the rest.

A number arrive in good form but nothing makes more appeal than BEELZEBUB (nap), who's used to plying his trade in better company.
