17:10 Lingfield (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Crystal Mariner made no mistake when dropped back from 1m4f at Salisbury last week and cutting back another furlong here shouldn't inconvenience him. Jack Doughty wasn't on Port Erin when he struck at Haydock, but he gets on really well with Tony Carroll's gelding and they should be bang there. RENESMEE might be the most reliable option, though, because she has done absolutely nothing wrong since joining Michael Keady and will relish stepping back up in trip.

The vote goes to CRYSTAL MARINER who bolted up at Salisbury a week ago and a 5lb rise still leaves him feasibly treated.

17:40 Lingfield (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SIR LAURENCE GRAFF has offered encouragement since returning to classified events, finishing fourth at Wolverhampton before being beaten just half a length into second at Yarmouth. His career record of two wins from 32 appearances doesn't exactly inspire maximum confidence, but he can prevent Fascinating Lips from going one better than his agonising defeat at Windsor last week. Lilac Wine is worth a look now in this sort of grade.

This can go to FASCINATING LIPS (nap) who knows how to win and was only just caught in a handicap at Windsor a week ago.

18:15 Lingfield (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A MERE BAGATELLE was fancied to do the business on his first start for James Owen, but had to settle for third at Carlisle. There was still promise in the effort, though, and the ex-Irish eight-year-old remains well treated in this sphere. Van Aert responded quite well to first-time blinkers when third at Newbury and is put forward as the primary threat, just ahead of Skimming Along.

This may be left to VAN AERT who has performed well enough in two of his three starts on turf since his successful AW reappearance.

18:45 Lingfield (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Gennadius has only finished out of the frame once in eight starts but is yet to get his head in front. This looks another suitable opportunity and he is likely to be thereabouts. Pickering Castle is another with plenty of experience under his belt and sets the standard with an official rating of 72, but SLIPPER TIME gets the vote. Henry Candy's three-year-old got up for third on his debut at Salisbury and it would be no surprise to see him take a step forward to score.

Provided his Salisbury promise is backed up, SLIPPER TIME may be the answer. Pickering Castle is second choice.

Rajeteriat makes his first start for the Chris Gordon yard after finishing third at Goodwood in June and the three-year-old is one to watch in the betting market. However, a chance can be taken on MC LOVEN, who found a class 3 event too strong when well beaten at Goodwood in May, but was kindly dropped 3lb. He now lurks on his last winning mark and could get back to winning ways. Reservardo isn't out of it either.

The selection is the consistent 3yo RESERVADO who may be well suited by this fast 5f.

MASHAAN appreciated going back on the grass at Salisbury last time as he left a lacklustre Wolverhampton effort behind. Beaten a mere head into third that day, Alice Haynes has found him a really winnable opening if he can build on that. Play Me has been running well in defeat and is put forward as the main danger, ahead of Twitch.

This can go to TRONIDO who ran well over C&D on her penultimate start and can make the most of the drop in grade.

20:15 Lingfield (Class 6) 4f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BEAUMADIER can send his supporters home smiling in the finale. Beaten just half a length into second over this trip at Thirsk latest, the gut feeling is that a press of the repeat button is all he needs. Flicka's Girl was narrowly denied at Ffos Las last month and must be taken seriously, while similar comments apply to Master Zack.

The vote goes to BEAUMADIER who remains below his last winning mark and who should be suited by this fast 5f.
