POLAR REBEL caught the eye on her first run for the Charlie Clover stable when third at Windsor last month and she can break the maiden steppinb back up in trip. Semser had just under a length to space when seeing off the reopposing Capallcliste (second) over 1m here last week, and he looks capable of upholding that form with jockey Ashley Lewis taking off 5lb.

Preference is for C&D winner ASHFORD HILL, who returns to Polytrack on a good mark and after some perfectly respectable turf runs.

A progressive sort as a two-year-old, NAINA returned to somewhere near that form when narrowly denied at Newmarket recently, and a 2lb rise may not be enough to prevent her from going one better. Now in the hands of trainer Stuart Williams after an unlucky third when not getting a clear run at Windsor in June, Dutch Finale must enter calculations, along with unexposed handicap debutant Al Joory, who was a taking winner at Kempton on her penultimate start. I Maximus and Noble Victory have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.

A few have possibilities but preference is for AL JOORY who won quite takingly on Polytrack before having a stiff task last time.
Class & Speed Card

BAILEYS ONTHEROCKS shaped well for a long way on debut at Nottingham before weakening late in the piece and, with that experience under her belt, the daughter of Dark Angel can strike in a winnable contest, with Rossa Ryan a notable booking. A promising third on her penultimate start at Wolverhampton, Star Marian can follow the selection home, along with Loleeta, who may be suited by dropping back to 5f for a yard in fine fettle.

Preference is for BAILEYS ONTHEROCKS, who shaped pretty well before fading at Nottingham 12 days ago and should improve here.
Class & Speed Card

Charming Princess deservedly broke her maiden tag at Pontefract latest and is entitled to plenty of respect now sent handicapping, but SILENT CITY is preferred. Roger Varian's filly finished a never-nearer second at Hamilton last month when attempting to follow up on her earlier Windsor success. An opening mark of 80 looks fair and today's extra yardage is expected to bring about the required improvement. La Ferveur makes her UK/stable debut having been successful in France last time out and the market can guide.

This can lie between CHARMING PRINCESS and Silent City who both have potential now switched to handicap company.

ROLLING LUCK has stepped forward on his last couple of starts at Yarmouth with his runner-up effort last month standing out. Sean Woods' gelding appears to have been found an excellent opportunity to shed the maiden tag. Foinix is feared most after his latest second at Brighton, while Aoife's Thunder's recent form entitles her to a place on the shortlist.

Last year's winner FOINIX (nap) was nicely clear of the third when second at Brighton on Thursday and is taken to defend his crown.

BOTH OF US was unfortunate not to have finished closer at Salisbury last month, an effort for which he was subsequently eased 2lb in the handicap. George Boughey's charge encounters an extra two furlongs today which could suit and he might offer some value against the likes of Clipsham Noble, who continues to find steady improvement. Good Shot disappointed at Windsor latest but the addition of first-time cheekpieces may work the oracle.

Another chance is given to GOOD SHOT, who has to rebound from a poor run but is of strong interest if judged on her penultimate effort.
Ths is the racecard key.
