11:10 Lingfield (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Universal Story's winning streak came to an end at Southwell last time, but there was no disgrace in finishing second and Jennie Candlish's upwardly mobile four-year-old has to remain of interest. That being said, a drop in trip might not play to her strengths and it could pay to side with AGE OF TIME. The gelding built on a Kempton second when winning in first-time cheekpieces (retained) at Wolverhampton and a 3lb rise should not be problematic. Tortured Soul could also have a say.

Top of the list is the resurgent 4yo AGE OF TIME (nap), who won at Wolverhampton last month and remains well treated on his old form.

11:40 Lingfield (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Galileo Charm shaped with considerable promise on her debut and although not as good over C&D last time, perhaps the addition of first-time cheekpieces will spark an improved performance. Despite that, preference is for BAMI, who has been crying out for a step up in trip on both of her racecourse appearances. Cracksman filly Cracking Beauty is related to a host of winners and wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make an impact.

The biggest form contenders are BAMI and Galileo Charm, preferred in that order.

12:10 Lingfield (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

One Of The Boys is a notable debutant as a 95,000-euro yearling purchase, but RICHIE'S ROCKET can put his experience to good use. Ralph Beckett's colt hit the frame in a warm Newmarket novice event on his first start last month and a similar level of performance is likely to be good enough. Alma De Fuego has also displayed enough ability to warrant some interest.

The clear form pick is RICHIE'S ROCKET, who posted a solid-looking effort at Newmarket. Aneirin's Sword is second choice.

12:45 Lingfield (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Quilt would prove a live threat if bouncing back to the form of her debut fourth at Kempton, but a subsequent fifth in a class 5 contest at Newcastle tempers enthusiasm. It could be worth chancing one of the newcomers, with BAYAANN topping the bill. Having fetched 410,000gns as a yearling, connections will be hoping he can recoup some of that expenditure by making a winning debut. Oracle Mission and That's Random require a market check.

Top of the list is the striking newcomer BAYAANN, who cost 410,000gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to a smart 2yo winner.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having proved far more competitive reverting to handicap company when finishing third at Wolverhampton recently, a race of this nature looks well within LADY OF ANDROS' compass. The three-year-old makes plenty of appeal racing off an untouched mark and a belated second career victory may beckon. Aramis Grey arrives in good heart and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of So Sassy.

It's hard to rule out any of these but ARAMIS GREY gets the vote ahead of Lady Of Andros and So Sassy.

13:55 Lingfield (Class 1) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Fairy Glen performed with plenty of credit when second in a Listed event at Bath and this dual all-weather winner merits plenty of respect back on the Polytrack. However, UNDERSTUDY has held her own in Group company this season, occupying the runner-up berth in the Ribblesdale, and is slightly more compelling now eased in class. Bosphorus Rose and Loughville both have little to find on the ratings and cannot be dismissed either.

Several have possibilities in a competitive Listed event. The percentage call goes to FAIRY GLEN. ahead of Lifting Sails.

14:30 Lingfield (Class 1) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Former high-class juvenile Shuwari has steadily found her feet since returning from the sidelines, landing a Listed race in France, although she does have a costly Doncaster defeat to atone for and needs to prove she handles the surface. SKY SAFARI has no such worries and extended her unblemished all-weather record to four when justifying favouritism in the London Mile Series Final. She looks ready to take the next step. Sunlit Uplands and Naina are talented enough to make an impact too.

Progressive SKY SAFARI is taken to maintain her unbeaten AW record. Shuwari and Sunlit Uplands look the biggest dangers.

15:05 Lingfield (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Ryan Kavanagh helped coax Sceptic back into the winner's enclosure on his return to the all-weather, with the five-year-old accounting for a subsequent winner at Wolverhampton. In VIZZAVONA LADY, though, he comes up against a lightly-raced filly with plenty of untapped potential and that earns her the nod. Penelope Valentine has held her form well since joining James Owen, while River Wharfe may have failed on his hat-trick mission but can't be written off. Cooramook and Sioux Warrior are a couple more to consider.

An open race in which the vote goes to 3yo VIZZAVONA LADY who was a good third in her bid for double last time and still has potential.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Simon Dow bought Balon D'or for 12,000gns recently but the stable's leading hope might be MC LOVEN, who has been performing well in defeat on Polytrack and was a solid third behind a subsequent winner over C&D a couple of weeks ago. Ziggy's Triton came out third best in a tight finish at Southwell and should get his head in front again before too long. Diomed Spirit will be much happier now back on the all-weather.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
