1st (1) (1/5 +33%)Hansard |
1/5(+33%) | (1) Hansard 1/5, Needed the run on his chase debut when fourth, beaten 29l in a beginners' chase at Kempton last time. Effective at 2m. This is a much weaker race and he should win with a clear round. Useful hurdler; well held when fourth on chase debut but this race is much easier. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (9/1 -100%)Taita Hills |
9/1(-100%) | (3) Taita Hills 9/1, Ran below form when stepped up in grade, perhaps with the race coming too soon, finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Newbury most recently. In good form before that. Effective up to 2m7f. Former pointer who brings potential to fences. Point winner/fair hurdler; off since March but should have a future over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (6/1 +33%)Officer Of State |
6/1(+33%) | (2) Officer Of State 6/1, Improved when winning a handicap hurdle at Fontwell by a length last time. Effective from 2m to 2m2f and acts on good ground. Makes the least appeal of these on his chase debut. Not favoured by the weights but won over hurdles last month and is evidently in good nick. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Not the best advertisement for racing with all three runners representing the Gary & Josh Moore team and, not surprisingly, jockey bookings help point in the direction of HANSARD. The seven-year-old was a quality performer over the smaller obstacles, winning the Gerry Feilden and chasing home Rubaud in the Elite Hurdle, and he now has chasing experience following last month's Kempton fourth. Assuming they all get round, Taita Hills can beat Officer Of State to the silver medal.

Very useful hurdler HANSARD ought to outclass his two stablemates.

1st (2) (4/6 -33%)Getaway King |
4/6(-33%) | (2) Getaway King 4/6, Improved despite jumping left in landing a handicap by 2l off 90 here last time; effective around 2m5f, acts on GS, G; up 3lb and could land hat-trick. 2-2 since joining Fergal O'brien and latest win was over C&D; strong contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (6/1 +29%)Constant Friday |
6/1(+29%) | (5) Constant Friday 6/1, Needed run when fourth beaten 15l in a handicap chase here latest; effective 2m2f-2m4f, acts on S, G; should come on for return. Point/hurdle winner but he's 0-5 over fences and is in the veteran stage now; passed over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (2/1 +27%)Somethingtosomeone |
2/1(+27%) | (1) Somethingtosomeone 2/1, Running well when falling late in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las last time. Trainer in form and effective from 2m to 2m4f on soft or good ground. This is her second run after a wind operation and she's an interesting chase recruit following that fall. Close up when falling at the last on hurdling return last month; in the mix on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (66/1 -32%)Iddergem |
66/1(-32%) | (3) Iddergem 66/1, Poor effort on chase debut when pulled up in a handicap chase at Southwell latest; effective 2m-2m3f, acts on Hy, GS; hard to fancy. Back from another layoff with pulled-up effort on chase debut last month; lots to prove. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GETAWAY KING has hit the ground running since joining Fergal O'Brien, justifying favouritism at Fontwell and over C&D. He has gone up a further 3lb, but this doesn't look the most competitive of contests and he can round out the hat-trick. Embarking on a chasing career on the back of a fall over timber isn't ideal, but Somethingtosomeone was still in contention when coming down at Ffos Las so could get involved if her jumping holds up. Constant Friday appears best of the remainder.

This can go to GETAWAY KING who is unbeaten in two runs for Fergal O'Brien this autumn and the latest was over C&D last month.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (5/6 +24%)Cinquenta |
5/6(+24%) | (1) Cinquenta 5/6, Improved on switch to hurdles, first run since a wind op when second beaten 1/2l in a maiden hurdle here latest; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on S, GS; more to come over hurdles. Close second on hurdling debut here last month and he's a big player back in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (8/1 +0%)Hot Goddess |
8/1(+0%) | (7) Hot Goddess 8/1, Too keen, bit below hurdles debut level when fourth beaten 11l in a maiden at Ludlow latest; trainer in form; returning from long layoff; effective around 2m4f, acts on S, GS; may still have more to offer. Reached the frame in both hurdle runs and she's not ruled out back in trip on her comeback. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (12/1 +52%)Crystello |
12/1(+52%) | (2) Crystello 12/1, Showed some promise when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Fontwell last time. Effective at 2m and handles good to soft or good ground. Should improve with experience. Ran well to a point on hurdling debut at Fontwell but needs plenty of improvement here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (150/1 -971%)Fravanco |
150/1(-971%) | (3) Fravanco 150/1, Ran to form when second beaten 3/4l in a handicap here last time. Returning from a break and should stay 2m over hurdles. Has plenty to find to figure here. Dual AW winner but his only previous hurdle run resulted in a heavy defeat in March. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (11/1 -175%)Kado Sacree |
11/1(-175%) | (4) Kado Sacree 11/1, Made a very promising debut when fourth beaten 4 1/2l in a novice hurdle at Exeter last time. Effective around 2m1f and handles good to soft ground. More to come over hurdles, though may be suited by further. Point winner who was a promising fourth on hurdling debut at Exeter last month; in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (200/1 -100%)Ephyra |
200/1(-100%) | (6) Ephyra 200/1, A bit keen and ran poorly on hurdles debut when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle here last time. Should stay 2m over hurdles but needs to show improvement. 0-5 on the Flat and was tailed off at big price on hurdling/stable debut here last month. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CINQUENTA made the frame in bumpers won by some smart prospects and carried that form over to timber on his return when going close here. He stuck to his guns well so the drop from an extended 2m3f may not be ideal, but he can still break through. Precious Metal, who won a Listed NH Flat race at Cheltenham, has also had the misfortune of bumping into some promising rivals since going hurdling and there has been nothing wrong with his seconds at Stratford and Southwell. Kado Sacree is worth a look following a decent Exeter fourth.

This can go to CINQUENTA, who was a close second on his hurdling debut here last month and sets a clear standard back in trip.

1st (1) (1/14 +80%)Masked Man |
1/14(+80%) | (1) Masked Man 1/14, Improved from debut when second, beaten 2l, in the Newton Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2) at Haydock last time. Effective at 2m and acts on good to soft and good ground. Debut form has been franked and he should take all the beating. Impressed on hurdle debut and runner-up in a Grade 2 since; should be hard to beat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (11/1 +8%)Hello Fortune |
11/1(+8%) | (4) Hello Fortune 11/1, Good win in a Loughanmore maiden point last time. Effective at 3m in points and acts on yielding and good ground. Could get into the places on hurdles debut. Won four-runner Irish point in October; faces tough opponent on rules debut. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (150/1 -127%)Charleyman |
150/1(-127%) | (2) Charleyman 150/1, Poor debut when well beaten in a bumper at Worcester on his only start. Likely to want further than 2m and has everything to prove on hurdles debut. Soundly beaten in run-of-the-mill Worcester bumper on debut in June. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (10/1 +38%)Mymilkman |
10/1(+38%) | (7) Mymilkman 10/1, Moderate hurdles debut when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Ffos Las last time. Effective at 3m in points; trainer in form but has plenty to find. Well beaten on last month's rules debut but ran well to a point; can improve. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Gary & Josh Moore have sent out some smart types recently and LAURIER DES OBEAUX might be another. Despite showing plenty of greenness, the 42,000-euro purchase stayed on to finish a respectable third behind exciting prospect Minella Marathon over C&D. With that experience under his belt, he can take a big leap forward to strike. Masked Man is the obvious danger after taking the silver medal home in a Grade 2 at Haydock and that form sets the standard. Point-to-point winner Hello Fortune may be the one for third.

This should be straightforward for MASKED MAN, who drops in class after running well in defeat in a Haydock Grade 2 three weeks ago.

Something has clicked recently and he commands respect on this hat-trick attempt. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (5/2 +64%)Court One |
5/2(+64%) | (9) Court One 5/2, Showed late headway and some promise on debut when second, beaten 12l, in a handicap hurdle here last time; effective at 2m4f and acts on good to soft ground; may improve now handicapping. Kept on for modest second behind Getaway With You here on recent handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (5/1 +58%)Kankin |
5/1(+58%) | (4) Kankin 5/1, Below form after a bad mistake when third, beaten 38l, in a handicap chase at Huntingdon on latest start; effective up to 2m6f and acts on good ground; others look stronger. On good hurdle mark but was remote when third in a recent chase and wants better ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (16/1 +52%)The Brickey Ranger |
16/1(+52%) | (2) The Brickey Ranger 16/1, Below form when tried in a hood and well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Fontwell last time; effective at 3m in points but yet to shine under rules. Last month's seasonal/handicap debut was not devoid of promise; might come on the for run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (33/1 +18%)Engaging Sam |
33/1(+18%) | (7) Engaging Sam 33/1, Jumped poorly and was comfortably held in a handicap hurdle here last time; effective between 2m and 2m5f and acts on soft and good ground; an exposed maiden. Tailed off in recent C&D contest won by Getaway With You and now 0-10 over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (1) (22/1 -100%)Make Sunshine |
22/1(-100%) | (1) Make Sunshine 22/1, Did too much too soon and was comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Bangor-on-Dee last time; effective around 2m4f and acts on good ground; may need this run. 0-8 over hurdles; placed in March but absent since two lesser efforts in May. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (9/2 +63%)Simon The Seagull |
9/2(+63%) | (6) Simon The Seagull 9/2, Needed the run when fourth, beaten 17l, in a handicap hurdle here last time; effective between 2m and 2m4f and handles soft ground; could come on for that return. 0-9 over hurdles but ran well behind Getaway With You over C&D on seasonal debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (80/1 -60%)As Good As Can Be |
80/1(-60%) | (8) As Good As Can Be 80/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Southwell last time; second run after wind surgery; yet to find suitable conditions and hard to fancy. Well beaten in all three handicaps and very difficult to enthuse over. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Cheekpieces have sparked GETAWAY WITH YOU into life, with his form figures reading '211' since they went back on. The seven-year-old struck over C&D two starts ago, beating Court One (second) and Simon The Seagull (fourth), which further enhances his claims and it's hard to look past him. More was expected of Bollin Thou when only fourth over 2m7f at Exeter, but this drop in trip might see him in a better light off a career-low rating. Of the remainder, Kankin makes the most appeal.

After showing a glimmer of promise before fading on his handicap debut, Irish point winner THE BRICKEY RANGER might be the answer.

1st (4) (5/6 +81%)A Perfect Day |
5/6(+81%) | (4) A Perfect Day 5/6, Improved on handicap debut after a year off when finishing 5 1/2l third in a handicap hurdle at Chepstow last time. Trainer in form. Effective around 2m4f and acts on soft or good to soft ground. Should progress further and can go close. 5yo who has form figures of 213 and he's open to more progress on this step up to 2m7f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (4/1 -14%)Paso Doble |
4/1(-14%) | (1) Paso Doble 4/1, Scored by 1 1/4l off 118 at Fontwell on his penultimate start and ran to form with every chance last time. Effective from 2m to 2m3f and acts on good to soft or good ground. His mark looks fair but he would not want the ground too soft. Creditable third in bid for double at Sandown last month; respected dropped back in grade. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (9/1 -50%)Duffry Trixs |
9/1(-50%) | (3) Duffry Trixs 9/1, Improved from debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Taunton by a neck last time. Returning from a long layoff and usually held up. Effective around 2m4f and acts on soft or good to soft ground; may need this run. Taunton winner who is unexposed and needs a close look on his handicap/seasonal debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (18/1 -140%)Alan Bresil |
18/1(-140%) | (5) Alan Bresil 18/1, Improved from debut when fourth, beaten 18l, in a novice hurdle at Ascot last time. Effective over 2m5f and acts on good ground. May progress further now switched to handicaps. Unexposed handicap newcomer but he needs improvement at this new trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (12/1 +57%)Knockanore |
12/1(+57%) | (2) Knockanore 12/1, Made too much use of when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham last time. Effective up to 4m and acts on soft or good to soft ground. May still need this run before returning to chasing. Easy win in the Eider Chase in February but he's struggled since; needs big turnaround. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (6/1 +20%)Hot Rod Lincoln |
6/1(+20%) | (7) Hot Rod Lincoln 6/1, Suited by positive tactics and improved up in trip when winning a handicap chase by 3l off 91 at Uttoxeter last time. Effective from 2m4f to 3m and acts on soft ground. May need this return to hurdling. Won over fences last time but this looks tough back over hurdles for another new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A winner at Fontwell on his reappearance, PASO DOBLE faced a stiffer test when third over 2m4f at Sandown last month. This extra test of stamina combined with the drop in class may well bring improvement from Paul Nicholls' charge and he's taken to edge out A Perfect Day, who will likely have come on for his recent third at Chepstow. Hot Rod Lincoln won over fences in testing conditions at Uttoxeter in February and could also shape well.

An interesting race involving unexposed types but A PERFECT DAY (nap) gets the vote ahead of Duffry Trixs and Paso Doble.

3/1(+33%) | (4) Superstylin 3/1, Scored by 6l off 87 at Worcester in September. Travelled well and ran to form, just flattening out late last time. Effective at 2m and acts on good ground. In good form and a leading player. Won on stable debut in September and was placed on last two outings; respected. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (33/1 -65%)Mega Speculator |
33/1(-65%) | (7) Mega Speculator 33/1, Unseated just before the race developed in a handicap chase at Ludlow last time. Effective at 2m and acts on good ground. Has a bit to prove at present. Ran well until unseating rider last month but others here look much less risky. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (50/1 -150%)Miss Fedora |
50/1(-150%) | (6) Miss Fedora 50/1, Below her best when pulled up in a handicap chase at Plumpton last time. Wears cheekpieces for the first time. Effective over 2m1f and acts on soft and good ground. Has a good Plumpton record but unreliable elsewhere. Out-of-form mare who needs to respond very positively to first-time cheekpieces. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BOBBI'S BEAUTY won last year's inaugural running and another bold bid is anticipated. A recent second at Warwick suggests she's capable of success off this sort of mark, with Freddie Keighley's 7lb allowance further helping her cause. Slow going would be a worry for Touquet, who was narrowly beaten on good ground over C&D last month, so Superstylin could prove a bigger threat on the back of recent placed efforts.

Freddie Keighley's useful 7lb claim might enable BOBBI'S BEAUTY to win this race for the second year running.
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
