12:30 Lingfield (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

These events can often be run at a muddling pace and if that is the case, Flat-bred newcomer Wilde's Legacy could have the tactical speed to cope. However, it looks best to side with MAKINGPLANSFOR. David Evans' charge shaped with real promise when second on his debut and can be forgiven a below-par run in Listed company at Cheltenham. King Berry completes the shortlist.

The newcomers SILK MOUNTAIN and Wilde's Legacy are particularly interesting. Makingplansfor is the form pick.

13:00 Lingfield (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Olly Murphy saddles two in the same ownership with Network Gold and Network Rgb, but both will need improvement if they're to upset likely favourite AQUA BLEU. Second on his debut before bolting up at Doncaster, the son of Blue Bresil should have no problem carrying a penalty to victory. Majeur Allen is a half-brother to Enjoy D'Allen and will need to be monitored in the betting.

It's very hard to see beyond AQUA BLEU, who drew clear for an impressive win at Doncaster last month.

13:30 Lingfield (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sea Presenting deserves a change of luck having hit the frame on each of her four starts over hurdles, but the daughter of Affinisea might have to settle for a supporting role once more because OH CLARE is preferred. The Walk In The Park mare struck the woodwork on her seasonal/hurdling bow at Carlisle which should have blown the cobwebs away, and a step up in trip can unlock some improvement. Sevarana heads the remainder.

Rock Sensation was good enough in bumpers to believe she'll be very competitive but the solid option is SEA PRESENTING.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having finished third on both hurdle outings to date, an opening mark of 104 could prove lenient for HARMONY HEIGHTS. The daughter of Flemensfirth is a potential improver stepping up in distance and she arrives in better heart than most. Night Stalker shaped better than his position would suggest at Ascot and isn't taken lightly in what looks a weaker affair, while George Henry is also interesting on the back of a wind procedure.

C&D winner ICAQUE DE L'ISLE returned from a break with two perfectly respectable autumn runs and might be the answer.

DIPLOMATIC ASH lost little in defeat when bumping into a subsequent winner at Fontwell last month and compensation could be on the cards. The six-year-old was only raised 1lb for that runner-up effort and the introduction of blinkers may be a shrewd move. The Venetia Williams yard have started to hit some form and Jeu D'opale is well worth a second look, while Hors Jeu is entitled to build on last month's seasonal return/chasing debut.

David Pipe's JAIPALETEMPS managed only third at Haydock this month but he looked in very good nick when winning twice in November.

NO TACKLE won easily over C&D last month and is difficult to get away from while that impressive display remains fresh in the memory. LOW EXPECTATIONS has been found another very winnable opportunity and he can continue on an upward curve chasing four wins on the spin. He has improved no end this season and is versatile trip-wise, so going back up from 2m will be no problem for this progressive five-year-old. The others might be playing for second and Little Ledgend can win that race, ahead of Washington Singer.

The suggestion is LITTLE LEDGEND (nap) who ran quite well in a higher grade last time and he's bred for today's extra yardage.
