11:30 Lingfield (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Northern Empire and The Stone Power set a decent standard after showing plenty of ability on their respective debuts in recent weeks. Both are likely to go well, but a chance can be taken on GUILDMASTER. The son of Teofilo cost 325,000gns as a yearling and is a full-brother to the Group 1 winner Gear Up, which means that he requires plenty on respect on his racecourse bow.

Northern Empire and The Stone Power showed fair form on their debuts but the vote still goes to Gosden newcomer GUILDMASTER.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

12:30 Lingfield (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Second over 5f at Chelmsford last week, THECOFFEEPODDOTCO could be hard to beat if repeating that level of form on the quick turnaround. Tokyo Joe also hit the crossbar on his most recent start and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Brakeman and Soviet Symphony are others who are capable of making the frame in a race of this nature.

It may be worth chancing SOVIET SYMPHONY who could take well to this surface, being a half-sister to the useful Polytrack winner Drama.

13:00 Lingfield (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ERNIE'S VALENTINE has produced a consistent level of form since winning at Chelmsford in September and apprentice rider Phoebe Edwards gets on well with him. Ross Burdon's charge landed the corresponding event 12 months ago from this mark too, and he could do so once again at the expense of Tadreeb, who is sure to appreciate an ease in class. H Key Lails is another to consider.

This can go to ERNIE'S VALENTINE who is off the same mark as when winning this race last year.

13:30 Lingfield (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Lahina Bay was foiled in her hat-trick bid here last time but remains of interest eased 2lb in the handicap. Sam's Xpress may have let favourite backers down the last twice, but he ought to launch a strong challenge. A chance, however, can be taken on DESDEMONA. Michael Attwater's charge has plummeted in the ratings since making her handicap bow in May, and there were more encouraging signs over C&D most recently. Although not a reliable option, she does have a win on her CV and might offer some value from a falling mark.

Preference is for LEVEL UP who has winning form over C&D and is just 1lb higher than when last successful.

14:00 Lingfield (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Latin built on a series of placed efforts to resume winning ways over a mile at Southwell and will likely be thereabouts once again, but MY BOY HARRY is marginally preferred. Denied in the shadow of the post over C&D last week, the son of Massaat looks well worth another chance off an unchanged mark. Buttercross Flyer and Homme De Fer also enter calculations in an open affair.

The choice is HOMME DE FER who won at Wolverhampton at the start of the month and ran well from a poor draw at Kempton last time.

14:30 Lingfield (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Chloe's Courage failed to feature over C&D last time, having returned the convincing winner at Chelmsford prior to that. Hard to predict, she's overlooked in favour of SO CHIC. The latter hasn't raced since scoring over a mile here in August, but Stephanie Cassidy's five-year-old is equally proficient over 7f and is taken to defy a 3lb rise. Jackson Street could land a blow if settling better.

The vote goes to COLORADA DANCER who ran well to finish third behind a subsequent winner off this mark at Chelmsford last time.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
