13:05 Ludlow (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GRANPA GER filled second place on his debut for these connections over 2m at Uttoxeter last month and, given how well that form has worked out subsequently, the seven-year-old is clearly the one to beat here. The recent C&D third Snatch A Glance could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Lake Tiberias and Super Freddie should not be discounted.

Preference is for course bumper winner SNATCH A GLANCE, who made a good start to his hurdling career over C&D.

13:35 Ludlow (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Bluenose Belle has to be respected on her return after her victory at Market Rasen when last seen in May. However, her lack of a recent run may give the edge to BLUE TEMPUS. Alan King's gelding was fourth on his handicap debut at Kempton last month and should benefit from this drop in grade. Others to note are Dexter and No More Bolero.

Juvenile hurdler BLUE TEMPUS shaped promisingly in a stronger Kempton handicap last time and he's taken to open his account eased 3lb.

14:08 Ludlow (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MONMIRAL has yet to show his best in five starts over fences, but he was second in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham back at the beginning of 2023. A subsequent winner of the Pertemps Final in 2024, Paul Nicholls' gelding can be given another chance back over the larger obstacles. Wyenot was a Listed winner over hurdles and makes plenty of appeal at these weights, while Double Powerful edges out Kamsinas to be next best.

A tight contest but preference is for the race-fit DOUBLE POWERFUL who remains with considerable potential over fences.

14:40 Ludlow (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DESPEREAUX and Crystal Glance are the pair to focus on. The fitting of first-time cheekpieces could see that latter improve on two moderate runs last month and a return to form cannot be ruled out. On the other hand, DESPEREAUX arrives after an improved effort when third in a similar event at Huntingdon and another step in the right direction could suffice. Tracking Treasure is the pick of the others.

C&D winner DESPEREAUX (nap), from a stable in fine form, is taken to beat Crystal Glance and Tracking Treasure.

15:15 Ludlow (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A wind operation and the switch to fences seems to have brought the best out of PURE CARBON. Harry Derham's charge was making only his second outing over the larger obstacles when returning the ready winner at Huntingdon recently and he remains of interest off a 6lb higher mark. Lightning Flash beat the selection at Chepstow last month and is not easily dismissed back over 2m, while Hypotenus drops in class with a shout on his return to the fray.

Lightning Flash is respected now going right handed but PURE CARBON took a sizeable step forward in winning last time.

15:50 Ludlow (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PRINCESS KERI has relished the return to hurdling and built on last month's second at Chepstow with a convincing success at Lingfield two weeks ago. Harry Cobden keeps the winning partnership intact and she looks worth sticking with back over this longer distance. Isabel De Clare finished second here a month ago and could have a say in proceedings once again, while the Huntingdon runner-up Sumatran Tiger may well improve now handicapping.

Princess Keri is feared but the suggestion is BRIEF STATEMENT who may build on last month's promising handicap debut.
