13:50 Market Rasen Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WALLQUATARI looked to be going best in front two from home at Doncaster in November, but he was ultimately picked up in the closing stages. That performance sets a clear standard and, if able to find further progress today, he should go one place better. Doctor Dino gelding Lundi Noir was picked up for 60,000 euros last year and he warrants a market check in a moderate contest, while Miners Gamble, who holds an official rating of 63 on the level, is another to be interested in.

LUNDI NOIR makes plenty of appeal on paper and can land a thin-looking maiden. Wallquatari is the clear danger.

The vote goes to WALLQUATARI, who has shaped well on both hurdle starts and may progress a little more. Crown Of India is next best.

14:20 Market Rasen Maiden Hurdle (Class 3) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Siog Geal (fourth) had no obvious excuses when finishing behind BLUEY (second) at Windsor last month and with the former perhaps needing a greater test of stamina, Emma Lavelle's six-year-old is expected to confirm her superiority. The winner is relatively prominent in the Dawn Run ante-post market, so that form could be particularly useful. Future Fortune finished a creditable second at Taunton recently and, in receipt of 6lb from the aforementioned pair, could be a real force.

BLUEY and Siog Geal are closely matched on their Windsor running and the pair, who are entered in the Dawn Run at the Cheltenham Festival, can fight this out, with Emma Lavelle's mare narrowly preferred.

Fergal O'Brien's SIOG GEAL can turn the tables on Bluey from Windsor, gaining a second win over hurdles in the process.

14:50 Market Rasen Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EXPRESS SURPRISE created quite the impression when bolting up on his fencing bow last month and given that improvement is likely, a subsequent 9lb rise in the handicap might not be enough to stop him from going in again. Camino Rocio was pulled up at Taunton when chasing a four-timer a fortnight ago but he won't be far away if bouncing straight back to form. Jessmae can chase the pair home.

MYTHE BRIDGE displayed plenty of promise in a trio of hurdle runs during the first half of last year and, boasting all the hallmarks of one to progress further now his attentions switch to chasing, he could be worth siding with to make a winning return/handicap debut before market clues. Camino Rocio, who is best excused his latest run, can emerge as one of the lead threats, with easy Huntingdon winner Express Surprise another to consider.

After winning in good style on his chase debut last time EXPRESS SURPRISE (nap) is taken to follow up despite a 9lb rise.

15:20 Market Rasen Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lavida Adiva relished the return to class 4 company when getting up on the line at Aintree on Boxing Day and another bold bid is forecast. However, a 4lb rise in the ratings does demand more from Ruth Jefferson's mare and smart Flat Performer MISS CYNTHIA looks open to more improvement. The five-year-old has filled the runner-up berth on both hurdle outings to date and she enters handicaps on a workable mark. The downgraded Sunset Hill is also noted.

MISS CYNTHIA has been handed a seemingly fair mark for her handicap debut in this sphere and, with the promise of better to come, she could be the answer. Next on the list is Sunset Hill, who understandably struggled in a Grade 2 last time and will be more at home back in handicap company. Lavida Adiva is also accorded respect on the back of her Aintree success.

As the potentially well-treated Miss Cynthia is hard to win with, a chance is taken on last year's winner GILBERTINA scoring again.

15:52 Market Rasen Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A switch to more aggressive tactics saw BURROWS HALL make all at Uttoxeter 10 days ago. The eight-year-old scored with enough to hand to suggest that a 6lb rise in the ratings could be on the lenient side and a quick-fire double may be on the cards. The biggest threat might emerge from Geordie Night, who found only a subsequent winner too strong at Wetherby last time out. Market support for handicap debutant Realta Liath would be interesting.

GEORDIE NIGHT has had the form of his Wetherby Boxing Day second franked on a few occasions and can show he's on a good mark, perhaps at the main expense of recent Uttoxeter scorer Burrows Hall. Belvedere Blast may prove best of the remainder.

Burrows Hall and Geordie Night are respected but REALTA LIATH should appreciate this trip now handicapping and gets the vote.

16:27 Market Rasen Handicap Chase (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ONESOC didn't have to come out of second gear when scoring in fine style at Catterick eight days ago and a 7lb penalty is unlikely to prevent him from following up if he's in the same mood today. Ballywood hit the crossbar over C&D before only managing fourth at Warwick last time, but he has more favourable conditions this time around. Captain Ivan takes a drop in grade and is another to keep an eye on.

It's hard to look beyond ONESOC, who proved better than ever when scoring at Catterick recently and it's no surprise that connections are keen to get him out quickly under a penalty with a hefty rise in the weights inevitable when reassessed. Bread And Butter is potentially well treated in this sphere and looks the best bet for the forecast ahead of Captain Ivan.

This can go to ONESOC who won in good style at Catterick last week and can follow up by beating Bread And Butter.

17:02 Market Rasen NH Flat Race (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Point-to-point winner UN SENS A LA VIE changed hands for 180,000 pounds in November and the five-year-old represents powerful connections on his debut under NH rules. The son of Muhtahir is related to plenty of winners and it would be no surprise to see him strike at the first time of asking. Espresso Milan finished fourth on his debut under Rules over track and trip in December and will be looking to put that experience to good use, while any market confidence behind newcomer Telepieces would be interesting.

FORWARD THINKING was an eyecatcher on his Warwick debut and is worth a chance to confirm that promise. Market strength behind Irish point recruit Un Sens A La Vie would make him a possible threat, while Espresso Milan is another who should build on a promising debut.

Olly Murphy's FORWARD THINKING has already posted a most encouraging Warwick debut fourth and is preferred to Un Sens A La Vie.
