14:00 Musselburgh (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BIG FUN didn't do much wrong when finishing second in each of his two previous starts and can make it third-time lucky, with the drop down to the minimum distance well worth exploring. Victaz fluffed the start on his debut at Hamilton last week, but will be wiser and should figure prominently with a step forward. Veiled Truth wasn't beaten far at Newcastle on Saturday and can also go well if reverting to turf and the quick turnaround don't cause issues.

Twice-raced contenders BIG FUN and Veiled Truth bring the best form, in that order.

14:30 Musselburgh (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Yakhabar ended a drought at Ripon and has a feasible chance off just 2lb higher. Nevertheless, this is more demanding and solid cases can be laid out for several others. The well-handicapped CRYSTAL GUARD competes off his last winning mark and shades the vote with plenty of room to move from fully 24lb lower than his peak career rating. Made All, Falcon Nine and National Question are others with claims in a wide-open event.

Turned out quickly, MADE ALL looks the one to beat. Krissy, who remains open to improvement, is second choice.

15:00 Musselburgh (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Individualism commands respect after hinting at a revival with a close second at Beverley last week, while Rhythm Master surely has another race within him and must be taken seriously from a highly competitive mark. However, THE TRICKSTER is far less exposed and with his weight-for-age allowance significantly bolstering his chance, a first handicap success could be within reach for John and Sean Quinn's progressive three-year-old. Castle Stuart also warrants close inspection.

Dubawi colt CASTLE STUART (nap) is particularly interesting, ahead of The Trickster and Individualism.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KEEP ME STABLE gained a fifth career success here on her latest start, having knocked on the door in recent months, and Linda Perratt's mare has every chance of following up on her return to 7f. Purple Martini got the better of the selection over C&D in May and wasn't at all disgraced at Carlisle when third last time. She enters the reckoning along with The Gay Blade.

Three-time course winner WITHOUT DELAY can be excused her latest defeat and is selected to capitalise upon a favourable mark.

16:00 Musselburgh (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This appears to be a golden opportunity for the consistent SIBYL CHARM to get her head back in front. The daughter of Charm Spirit has held her form well in recent months and boasts strong credentials in a race lacking any kind of depth on paper. Jewel Maker's recent fifth at Redcar entitles him to be in the mix, while a falling handicap mark might aid the cause of Detective.

In a tricky race the selection is JEWEL MAKER, who looked unlucky not to finish closer than fifth over 1m at Redcar recently.

16:30 Musselburgh (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Yaaser has performed with credit since winning at Ayr in April, although he does look in the grip of the handicapper at present. The latter comment also applies to Vince Le Prince, who finished runner-up over C&D on his penultimate start when beaten by FLETCHERS DREAM. Fitted with a visor for the first time, Alan Brown's inmate returned the shock winner on that occasion but there was no fluke about it, having won off a higher mark last term, and another bold bid is anticipated.

He lost out narrowly to Fletchers Dream over C&D last month but VINCE LE PRINCE is 2lb better off today and can turn the tables.

17:00 Musselburgh (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SKI ANGEL has eased in the weights having won off a 5lb higher mark here last term. She showed signs of a resurgence when runner-up at the track last time, in a sprint that has worked out really well, and the daughter of Harry Angel is taken to go one better. Wee Mary went close to opening her account at Doncaster recently and makes more appeal than Mrs Bagerran, who has been raised 6lb for winning at Ripon.

The surface is a slight query but STARTLING's 5f AW form this year gives her strong claims. Sixcor may be best of the rest.
