250/1(+0%) | (5) Come On Mccaff 250/1, Too green to show anything when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown on debut; has everything to prove. Behind throughout on last month's Punchestown debut; hood now tried. |

CLASSICAL CREEK has smart form and represents a yard that targets this meeting. A 10-length winner of a point-to-point and successful on his bumper debut, he also finished third in a Listed bumper here last December. He hasn't raced since and was withdrawn lame from Graded races in February and April, but will be ready for his reappearance. Fillyoureye, a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Colreevy, won a bumper in the spring but although open to progression over jumps, that Kilbeggan form isn't outstanding and he might struggle to beat the selection. The Store Boy has shown ability, while Agameoftwohalves is out of a triple bumper winner.

Gordon Elliott has won this in three of the last four years and could hold the ace here with CLASSICAL CREEK

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (12/1 +0%)Clonbury Bridge |
12/1(+0%) | (7) Clonbury Bridge 12/1, Scored by 1 1/2l off 110 over 3m at Fairyhouse on his penultimate start and ran to form when sixth, beaten 11l off 115 last time. Trainer in form. 5/1(+64%) | (14) Midleton Rare 5/1, Won by 2l off 85 over 2m3f at Limerick on his penultimate start. May not have stayed when 16th, beaten 32l off 93 last time. Effective at 2 1/2m with cut and remains well treated on bumper form. Made immediate impact for new yard in tongue-tie, but tailed off last time; hard to trust. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (3/1 -20%)Watching The Clock |
3/1(-20%) | (9) Watching The Clock 3/1, Won by 3 1/2l off 93 over 2m at Gowran Park on her penultimate start. Had too much to do when fourth, beaten 4 1/2l off 103 last time. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m and acts on good and soft ground. Progressive and may improve again now back up in trip. Won nicely at Gowran on 2nd h'cap start; promise in recent fourth but jumping let her down. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (13) (25/1 +0%)The Little Yank |
25/1(+0%) | (13) The Little Yank 25/1, Not best placed and a bit below form when fourth, beaten 10l, in a handicap hurdle over 3m1f at Sligo last time. Usually held up. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (12) (5/1 +58%)Mon Sheriffe |
5/1(+58%) | (12) Mon Sheriffe 5/1, Had every chance and ran to form when fourth, beaten 14l, in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Cork last time. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m. In fair form but the mark demands more. Too keen around here over 2m5f and a distant fourth at Cork over 18.5f last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (28/1 -155%)Killinure Lass |
28/1(-155%) | (2) Killinure Lass 28/1, Won by 1 1/4l off 105 at Tramore on her penultimate start and ran to form when fourth, beaten 7l off 110 last time. Trainer in form and effective from 2m to 2 3/4m. In fair form over hurdles and fences and goes well at Tramore. On a career high mark following fifth hurdles win on penultimate; some better handicapped. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (7/1 +7%)Club Manager |
7/1(+7%) | (4) Club Manager 7/1, Ran to form when beaten 2 1/4l off 107 over 2m at Wexford last time. Effective around 2 1/2m and acts on any ground. Generally consistent. Sole success over hurdles came off 5lb lower but ran well last time when 2nd; place chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (80/1 -264%)Arch Enemy |
80/1(-264%) | (6) Arch Enemy 80/1, Fell in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Wexford last time. Effective at 2m and worth a try at 2 1/2m. Has been out of form in both codes recently. Still 8lb above mark for sole hurdles win; out of form on Flat and fell latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (10/1 -11%)Bossing It |
10/1(-11%) | (10) Bossing It 10/1, All but fell as the race was developing but still ran to form when third, beaten 9 1/2l, in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Galway last time. Returns from a short break. Effective from 2m to 2m5f. Maiden hurdle winner has steadily improved in 3 h'cap runs but needs more to feature. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (8) (16/1 +27%)Must Meet Cecil |
16/1(+27%) | (8) Must Meet Cecil 16/1, Kicked on far too soon and was comfortably held in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Wexford last time. Effective at 2m and prefers decent ground. On a good mark based on claiming form but conditions are a concern. Front-runner may struggle at this distance on softer conditions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (5) (10/1 -11%)Its Not Over Yet |
10/1(-11%) | (5) Its Not Over Yet 10/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 10l, in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Punchestown last time. Wears a tongue-tie for the first time. Best at around 3m on easy ground and looks fairly treated. Dual-hurdles winner came back to form at Ballinrobe but didn't back it up; soft suits. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (1) (13/2 0%)Paul's Dream |
13/2(0%) | (1) Paul's Dream 13/2, Landed a handicap by 3 1/2l off 103 over 2m at Fairyhouse on her penultimate start. Travelled well and was closing when falling late in the Oddschecker Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2) last time. Progressive at 2m on yielding and good ground and may stay a bit further. Improving mare has bagged two wins and ran well at Cheltenham; soft conditions a question. |

WATCHING THE CLOCK is a progressive four-year-old who should be suited by reverting to this distance. Her initial form was unexciting but having scored on soft ground at Gowran last month, she subsequently finished well for fourth at Punchestown. She can continue to progress and the extra half-mile will help. Similarly, Paul's Dream steps up in trip, having been in contention when falling at the second-last in Cheltenham. She could well improve at this distance, but is unproven on heavy ground. Killinure Lass wasn't disgraced at Thurles when attempting to follow up on her earlier Tramore success and must enter calculations from an unchanged mark.

A lot in with chances, but the tentative nod is given to WATCHING THE CLOCK, who is in the mix with a better round of jumping

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (7/1 -17%)Ragmans Corner |
7/1(-17%) | (1) Ragmans Corner 7/1, Scored by 2 1/2l off a mark of 118 here three starts back and ran to form when fourth beaten 8 1/2l off 125 last time. 14/1(0%) | (7) Luker's Tipple 14/1, Ran to form when second beaten 2 1/2l in a maiden hurdle at Wexford last time. Effective at 2m, acts on soft and good ground, consistent over hurdles though a little frustrating. Beaten at short odds several times inc' at 1-2 at Downpatrick last month; hard to trust. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (11) (40/1 -21%)Petit King |
40/1(-21%) | (11) Petit King 40/1, Pulled up in a 2m6f handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse last time. Out of form over hurdles and fences for some time. Sole win came two years ago and was PU when last seen at Fairyhouse in April; unlikely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (11/2 +8%)Killaney King |
11/2(+8%) | (5) Killaney King 11/2, Improved when stepped up in trip on chase debut, finishing second beaten 5 1/2l in a 2m7f beginners chase at Kilbeggan latest. Hugely progressive and should give a good account once more. Runner-up in last three starts but hasn't looked like he was crying out for this trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (6/1 +57%)San Hilario |
6/1(+57%) | (8) San Hilario 6/1, Improved slightly when third beaten 16l in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park on latest start. Returning from a long layoff; effective at 2m and acts with cut. Progressing in maidens with form franked at Graded level, though needs a bit more to defy this mark. Promise in maidens and not discounted for handicap bow although absence to overcome. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (13) (10/1 +44%)Jazzy Rock |
10/1(+44%) | (13) Jazzy Rock 10/1, Ran to form when fourth beaten 5l in a 2m4f maiden hurdle at Clonmel last time. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m, acts on yielding ground, and improving as her jumping sharpens; should be winning soon. Modest Flat performer makes handicap hurdle debut following promising maiden runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (14) (22/1 -10%)Kate Knows Best |
22/1(-10%) | (14) Kate Knows Best 22/1, Made mistakes but still ran to form when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Gowran Park last time. In good form previously; effective from 2m to 2m6f and acts on soft and good ground. Sligo maiden winner ran below her best at Gowran latest; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (4/1 +0%)Colonia Victoria |
4/1(+0%) | (6) Colonia Victoria 4/1, Had too much to do when dropped in trip but improved when second beaten 4l in a novice hurdle at Wexford last time. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m, acts with cut, and should be suited by this stiff track. Unexposed and looks a big player on handicap bow. Cork maiden winner can build on 2nd place at Wexford last time but further may suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (12/1 -71%)Scalpnagoon |
12/1(-71%) | (3) Scalpnagoon 12/1, Pulled up in an auction hurdle over 2m3f at Punchestown last time. Significant jockey booking but still has a bit to find off stiff looking mark. Reeled off maiden and novice wins before disappointing in final two starts last season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (11/1 +31%)Party President |
11/1(+31%) | (12) Party President 11/1, Below form back in a handicap, likely found the ground too soft when well beaten in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Killarney last time. Returning from a break and needs a sound surface. Back-to-back h'cap winner in April; return to this trip is positive but ground a question. |

COLONIA VICTORIA is useful and should compete from her 118 rating. Placed fourth at Group 3 level on the Flat in Italy in 2023, she scored over hurdles at Cork back in April, beating a now 119-rated runner-up, while the third also scored subsequently. She conceded weight to the winner at Wexford recently and has form on soft ground. Lambay Island was heavily supported when finishing a close enough third on his return at Thurles. That form is unexciting, but he met race-fit rivals on lively ground and can progress. Scalpnagoon's last two starts were disappointing, but he had previously shown ability and it is encouraging that Jack Kennedy rides on his reappearance.

None of them jump off the page, so although COLONIA VICTORIA looks like further will suit better perhaps she can get away with it here

1st (1) (7/4 -17%)I'll Sort That |
7/4(-17%) | (1) I'll Sort That 7/4, Ran to form when stepping up in trip, though slightly fortunate due to a late faller, when winning a novice hurdle at Galway over 2m5f by 3l last time; effective at 2-2 1/2m and acts on soft and good ground; progressing. Maiden hurdle winner was possibly lucky to win at Galway latest but the one to beat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (9/4 +25%)Theflyingking |
9/4(+25%) | (4) Theflyingking 9/4, From a yard successful in the last two editions of this race; fell in a maiden hurdle over 2m7f at Down Royal latest when going well; effective between 2m and 2 3/4m; a consistent bumper winner with more to come over hurdles, possibly at longer distances, though the stable's second string on jockey bookings. Point and bumper winner fell at the last when looked like winner latest; Kennedy deserts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (7/1 +18%)Whimsy |
7/1(+18%) | (6) Whimsy 7/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 6 1/2l, in the BOYLE Sports Novice Hurdle (Grade 3) at Tipperary last time; consistent at around 2m and handles any ground; in career-best form but may be vulnerable to a less exposed rival at this level. Ran well in a Gr.3 when last seen and is solid yardstick but others may bring more talent. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (6/1 -71%)Ace Brannigan |
6/1(-71%) | (2) Ace Brannigan 6/1, Made a very promising hurdle debut, landing a gamble when suited by a positive ride to win a maiden hurdle at Tipperary by 6 1/2l last time; effective at 2m, debut form has been franked and more improvement is expected; will get further in time. Easily beat Letos (subsequent Brown Lad winner) in latest start; strong chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (150/1 -200%)You Make Me Smile |
150/1(-200%) | (7) You Make Me Smile 150/1, Improved when handling testing ground to win a handicap at Galway over 12f by 4 1/2l last time; effective at 2m on good over hurdles and 12f on the Flat; in good form in both codes but vulnerable in this grade. In good heart with a hurdle and Flat win in recent starts, but out of depth here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (5/1 +33%)Ma Jacks Hill |
5/1(+33%) | (3) Ma Jacks Hill 5/1, From a yard that has won the last two runnings of this race; outpaced but ran to form when second, beaten 3l, in a novice hurdle over 2m5f at Galway latest; effective at 2-2 1/2m and acts on soft and yielding; may improve further over longer trips. 3l behind I'll Sort That last time off level weights, but the choice of Kennedy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (125/1 -213%)Eye Of A Tiger |
125/1(-213%) | (5) Eye Of A Tiger 125/1, Outclassed when third, beaten 30l, in the Bottlegreen Hurdle (Listed) over 2m1f at Down Royal most recently; effective at 2-2 1/4m on good ground; generally consistent but needs a drop in grade. Tailed off when upped in grade at Down Royal latest and soft conditions not sure to suit. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

ACE BRANNIGAN looked capable in winning last month and remains unexposed. Well related, he finished a close second on point-to-point debut last December and, at Tipperary, defeated last weekend's Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle winner Letos comfortably. He has form on soft ground and is suited by this distance. Capable but keen, I'll Sort That was under pressure when left clear at the last in Galway and although 4lb worse off with Ma Jacks Hill, can confirm the form if he settles better. It is a negative that Theflyingking is his trainer's apparent second string because he is closely matched with I'll Sort That on bumper form and was unlucky last time at Down Royal.

ACE BRANNIGAN (nap) comprehensively beat subsequent Brown Lad winner Letos last time and can defeat main rival I'll Sort That

1st (3) (12/1 +14%)Colonel Mustard |
12/1(+14%) | (3) Colonel Mustard 12/1, Ended a long losing run when landing a Conditions Hurdle at Sligo over 2m2f by 3 1/2l after a drop in grade. Effective between 2m and 2 1/2m, probably best at 2m. Consistent but frustrating, though should remain competitive now he's won again. Recent Sligo winner back up in grade here so more needed but not out of it at the weights. |

8/15(+27%) | (1) The Yellow Clay 8/15, Fell in the Champion Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) over 2m5f at Punchestown last time when may have placed. The yard has won three of the last ten runnings of this race, and with the top jockey back on board, Grade 1 winner looks the one to beat. High-class novice last season remains over hurdles for the time being; the one to beat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (10/3 +5%)Jetara |
10/3(+5%) | (5) Jetara 10/3, Ran to form when beaten 8 1/2l in a handicap over 2m at Naas last time. A consistent performer who should be competitive now dropping in grade though will want stiff test at the trip. Strong stayer; disappointed in this last season but entitled to go well at the weights. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (8/1 +0%)Maxxum |
8/1(+0%) | (2) Maxxum 8/1, Won the Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Hurdle (Grade 2) at Fairyhouse by 3/4l last time, running to his best when benefitting from an easy lead. The yard has taken three of the last ten renewals, and he looks a major threat with easy lead possible. Every chance on ratings but well held in this event last year on seasonal return. |

5th (4) (33/1 -18%)Grandero Bello |
33/1(-18%) | (4) Grandero Bello 33/1, Pulled up in the Pat Taaffe Handicap Chase (Listed) over 3m at Punchestown last time and needs to find plenty more to feature here. Didn't handle ground at Punchestown festival; starts off back over hurdles with plenty on. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Gordon Elliott's THE YELLOW CLAY is two from two over hurdles at this venue and his proven ability on testing ground will be a real asset to him. Although he would prefer a sounder surface, he powered clear on heavy ground to land a Grade 3 at this festival last year. Jetara is race-fit from the Flat and has a couple of placed efforts in Grade 1 company at Aintree and Punchestown to call upon. She has the assistance of Paul Townend and is a big player. Elliott's Maxxum is only rated 3lb inferior to The Yellow Clay and is a winner at Grade 2 level over flights around here. He is more than capable of a big run from the front.

Denied a recent comeback run at Down Royal due to a skin allergy, THE YELLOW CLAY looks the one to beat

14/1(-75%) | (4) Hercule Du Seuil 14/1, Travelled smoothly and returned to form back on better ground after a break, proving stamina when winning the An Riocht Chase (Grade 3) at Killarney over 2m4f by 2l last time; should remain competitive at Grade 2/3 level over 2m. Killarney winner in May; not sure this drop in trip against specialist 2-milers will suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (5/1 +77%)Touch Me Not |
5/1(+77%) | (5) Touch Me Not 5/1, From a yard that won this last year; made a bad error and failed to find much when fourth, beaten 15l, in the Maghull Novice Chase (Grade 1) at Aintree latest; has plenty more to find. Second-season chaser for whom ground to suit but looks to have a it to find. |

|PU| (6) (5/1 +50%)Captain Guinness |
5/1(+50%) | (6) Captain Guinness 5/1, Won this race in both 2022 and 2023; back to form under positive handling when second, beaten 7l, in the Champion Chase (Grade 1) at Punchestown last time; former Champion Chase winner isn't dismissed. Two-time winner of this race but pulled up last year; 10yo respected on overall profile. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

DINOBLUE returns to action in search of a four-timer and has an enviable strike-rate over fences. She ploughs through attritional ground and can pick up where she left off last term. Found A Fifty had to dig deep to repel Solness in this event 12 months ago and will appreciate the drop in distance after coming up short as favourite in the 3m Champion Chase at Down Royal. Captain Guinness won this race in 2022 and 2023 so shouldn't be underestimated.

Likely plenty of pace on here which should play into the hands of the mare DINOBLUE

Top 2m novice hurdler last season; potentially top-class novice chaser if jumping holds up. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (9/2 +0%)Lovely Hurling |
9/2(+0%) | (8) Lovely Hurling 9/2, Improved up in class and trip when second, beaten 16l, in the Champion Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) over 2m5f at Punchestown latest; usually held up; a value selection on balance of form with promise of more to come over fences. Lightly raced, progressive novice hurdler last season; could well make a better chaser. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (11) (50/1 +24%)Shraheen |
50/1(+24%) | (11) Shraheen 50/1, Travelled well and improved up in trip, benefitting from reappearance, when winning a handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan over 2m3f by 3/4l last time; returning from a break; difficult to fancy. Absent since Kilbeggan hurdles win in July; big ask on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (12) (10/1 +29%)Its Bilbo |
10/1(+29%) | (12) Its Bilbo 10/1, Improved but no match for the classy winner when second, beaten 7l, in the O'Driscoll's Irish Whiskey Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 2) over 2m at Fairyhouse latest; plenty more needed; yard's horses tend to improve for fences; chance. Decent juvenile hurdler last term; has the scope for chasing but 4yo faces a daunting task. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (100/1 -52%)Anotherway |
100/1(-52%) | (1) Anotherway 100/1, Below form when down the field in the Lawlor's Of Naas Handicap Hurdle (Listed) over 2m5f at Punchestown, wanting easier ground; hard to recommend switched to fences. Struggled in handicap hurdles when last seen; will do well to feature on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (25/1 +38%)Harvard Guy |
25/1(+38%) | (4) Harvard Guy 25/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 4 1/4l, in the Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle (Grade 3) over 3m at Clonmel last time; absent for a very lengthy period and plenty more needed. Progressive 2m4f handicap hurdler (here) in 2023/24 season; long absent, trip inadequate. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (22/1 +33%)Jigoro |
22/1(+33%) | (5) Jigoro 22/1, From a yard that won this last year; bit below form on ground quicker than ideal when 22l third in a Conditions Hurdle over 2m4f at Clonmel most recently; looks the pick on race times. Chased home clear-cut winners on both beginners' chases last season; good bit to find here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (11/1 +45%)Ballybow |
11/1(+45%) | (2) Ballybow 11/1, From a yard that won this last year; outpaced from an early stage on ground that was too quick when down the field in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1) over 3m at Cheltenham; in good form prior; all to do. Albert Bartlett also-ran; begins chasing here over a trip a bit on the short side. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (80/1 -100%)Born Braver |
80/1(-100%) | (3) Born Braver 80/1, Ran to form but lacked the speed of the principals when beaten 7 1/4l in a novice hurdle over 2m5f at Galway last time; in good form prior but off a long absence; difficult to fancy. Absent 15 months and probably best watched on chase debut in a hot maiden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (9) (80/1 +20%)Moudan |
80/1(+20%) | (9) Moudan 80/1, Unseated in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; trainer in form; effective at 2m with cut but needs a drop in grade over fences. Hampered and unseated rider at first on recent chase debut at Naas; stiff task. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (50/1 +24%)Mywayofthinkin |
50/1(+24%) | (10) Mywayofthinkin 50/1, Well backed but made mistakes and still green when third, beaten 13l, in a handicap hurdle over 2m6f at Fairyhouse most recently; all to do. Needs to improve considerably for switch to fences; may be more of a long-term project. |

KOPEK DES BORDES makes his eagerly-awaited debut over fences and is hard to get away from. He is a dual Grade 1 winner over flights, including in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at last season's Cheltenham Festival, and is the ante-post favourite for the Arkle in March following positive updates on his schooling over fences. Jump Allen has acquitted himself well over timber and is proven over further, while the lightly-raced Lovely Hurling and the returning Harvard Guy add more spice to the mix.

All eyes will be on KOPEK DES BORDES on chasing debut, although he'll have to give his fences more respect than he did his hurdles

14/1(+50%) | (8) Royal Gladiator 14/1, Unseated rider in a maiden over 3m at Loughanmore last time. Needs to show much more in this contest. Unseated in first point and fourth next time; that form shouldn't be good enough. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

18/1(+18%) | (9) Springs Steen 18/1, £24,000 Wings Of Eagles gelding; half-brother to Minella Drama, a high-class performer from 20f to 22f. Represents a top stable. Half-brother to Minella Drama and Ballycashin; worth a market check but others more likely. |

16/1(-78%) | (3) Le Roi Du Livet 16/1, Improved from his debut when just denied by a nose in a Ladies bumper at Tramore. Effective at 2m and continues to progress, likely to remain competitive. Built on moderate debut to go down by a nose at Tramore last time; going the right way. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (11/10 +27%)Lemmy Caution |
11/10(+27%) | (4) Lemmy Caution 11/10, Stable won this race last year. Produced a very promising debut when winning a maiden over 3m at Monksgrange by 8l and still has a bit to find. Purchased for 250,000GBP following 8l point-to-point debut success; of obvious interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (2/1 +20%)Jet To Monte Carlo |
2/1(+20%) | (2) Jet To Monte Carlo 2/1, Made a highly promising start when winning by 14l in a maiden over 3m at Ballynoe on debut. Sets the standard here on race times. Looks the main rival to Lemmy Caution following 14l point-to-point success. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (22/1 -100%)Ziso |
22/1(-100%) | (12) Ziso 22/1, Yard won this last year; Yeats filly; half-sister to Golden Nugget, moderate at 16f. Dam was fair at 6f and she hails from a top stable. Half-sister to 5f/6f winner Little Muddy; Lemmy Caution is potentially stable first-string. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (100/1 -100%)Suresuresure |
100/1(-100%) | (10) Suresuresure 100/1, Showed little when well beaten in a 4yo bumper over 2m1f at Ballinrobe on his only start. Hood fitted for the first time and has everything to prove. Nice pedigree, but tailed off on debut at Ballinrobe and this looks tougher. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (66/1 +0%)Dorie Miller |
66/1(+0%) | (1) Dorie Miller 66/1, Showed greenness on debut when well beaten in a 4yo bumper over 2m1f at Punchestown. Drops in grade which should help, though he still has plenty to prove. Well beaten in Punchestown bumper debut and needs to leave that run behind to get involved. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (13/2 -8%)Leonard Vallis |
13/2(-8%) | (5) Leonard Vallis 13/2, Ran an excellent race on hurdle debut when second, beaten 1 1/2l, in a maiden at Gowran Park. The clear pick on overall form. Entitled to improve over positive career debut over hurdles when 2nd; could get involved. |

LEMMY CAUTION's homework has been good according to a recent stable tour and this point-to-point winner is fancied to make a successful transition to the racecourse for Gordon Elliott. Jet To Monte Carlo looks a significant threat as he cruised to victory by a wide margin in a Ballynoe point-to-point in March before switching to Emmet Mullins' yard. Leonard Vallis attracted support ahead of his debut in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park last month and there was promise in his runner-up finish. Henry de Bromhead's newcomer Springs Steen is well worth a market check, while Le Roi Du Livet was narrowly denied in a bumper at Tramore last month.

This could be a shootout between expensive point purchases LEMMY CAUTION and Jet To Monte Carlo, with the vote given to the former
Ths is the racecard key.
