The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Henery Hawk has four wins here, the latest off 2lb higher in July. He can go well but the vote goes to LITTLE MI MI, who was beaten three-quarters of a length by Digital here last month. She meets that rival on 3lb better terms, which ought to see her reverse the form, and Mohammed Tabti's 3lb claim is a bonus. Jim Goldie took a division of this with a four-year-old last year, making Wee Mary another of interest.

The vote goes to DIGITAL who responded well to the returning cheekpieces when making all over C&D 13 days ago.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(7) (40/1 0%)Raven's View |
40/1(0%) | (7) Raven's View 40/1, Did too much off a slow early pace when well beaten in a novice here last time; bred to get at least a mile but yet to show much ability. Cut little ice in pair of 7f novices here last month; needs to take a major step forward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(1) (50/1 -52%)Mr Dreamseller |
50/1(-52%) | (1) Mr Dreamseller 50/1, Made plenty of use of and tired late when 9l fourth in a novice at Southwell on debut; off a short break; sprint-bred, sound surfaces should suit and likely improver. Hinted at promise when a debut fourth at Southwell; he can take a step forward here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

THREE NON BLONDES showed a willing attitude to get off the mark at the first attempt at Chelmsford, keeping on well to prevail by half a length. Nominal improvement would make her a big player and she may hold off Riley Rocks at level weights. Dylan Cunha's colt was slowly away at Southwell before finishing fourth, but ought to be a different proposition now. Polka might get the better of Mr Dreamseller for minor honours.

Karl Burke's THREE NON BLONDES looks to have been found a good opportunity to follow up her debut Chelmsford victory and defy a penalty.

(1) (6/4 +25%)Antrim |
6/4(+25%) | (1) Antrim 6/4, Improved despite a 5lb rise in the weights when landing a handicap by 1 1/2l off a 6lb lower mark here last time. Effective at 10f, goes well from the front; just pushed out last time but faces a much stiffer task now. 2-2 over C&D; may not get his own way this time, but he remains unexposed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(3) (9/4 +25%)Machete |
9/4(+25%) | (3) Machete 9/4, Produced a game effort at a somewhat inadequate trip when landing a handicap by 1/2l off a 2lb lower mark here last time. Effective from 10-13f and arguably better beyond 10f; acts on all-weather. In good form and borderline Group-class in France in 2023. 2lb higher than when winning over C&D 13 days ago; a contested lead would aid his cause. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(4) (7/2 +13%)Without Compromise |
7/2(+13%) | (4) Without Compromise 7/2, Ridden out for a wide-margin win when landing a handicap by 6l off a 10lb lower mark here last time. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) (7/1 -133%)Midnight Lion |
7/1(-133%) | (2) Midnight Lion 7/1, Ran to best when stepped up slightly in trip, landing a handicap by 1 1/2l off a 3lb lower mark here last time. Enjoys making the running; effective from 7-10f, acts on soft and all-weather, though quite a stiff mark now. Front-runner who has won eight times here, the latest 12 days ago; can't be ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(6) (20/1 -43%)Inappropriate |
20/1(-43%) | (6) Inappropriate 20/1, Had a very bad trip and may have finished a couple of lengths closer with a clear run when second, beaten 6l in a handicap here latest. Suited by 10f and acts on any surface; unlucky latest and has an obvious chance despite not the most generous mark. Would have finished closer to Without Compromise over C&D last time with a clearer run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(5) (33/1 -106%)Urban Road |
33/1(-106%) | (5) Urban Road 33/1, Ran to best when beaten 1/2l off a 1lb lower mark at Southwell last time. Suited by 8-10f with all recent form on all-weather; chance if repeating that effort up a couple of furlongs. Five wins here and running well lately, but still 6lb above his last winning mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ANTRIM has come on in leaps and bounds since being gelded, winning by five lengths in October for the Gosdens and then by a length and a half on his first start for Karl Burke, with both efforts coming over C&D. He needs to improve again off 6lb higher, but had plenty left in the locker and may well defy his new rating. Machete and Without Compromise both arrive in great form and may give him the most to do.

If there is a contested lead, which seems possible, then MACHETE may be the one to benefit having just got up to win here 13 days ago.

Still on last winning mark, but another furlong may suit ideally having won over 6f here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(6) (13/2 0%)King's Crown |
13/2(0%) | (6) King's Crown 13/2, Ran to his best when second, beaten 3/4l off 72 last time; effective over 5/6f and acts on the all-weather; on an upward curve. Dual C&D winner and runner-up here last month; very much respected. |

9/1(0%) | (8) Lion's House 9/1, A bit below form again when beaten 4 1/2l in a handicap here last time; effective over 5/6f and suited by a sound surface; his mark is falling but he's not in the best form. 6lb below last winning mark but doesn't come into this in great form; others more solid. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(11) (10/1 +0%)Hover On The Wind |
10/1(+0%) | (11) Hover On The Wind 10/1, Back to form down in the weights when landing a handicap by a head off a 3lb lower mark here last time; enjoys making it; effective over 5/6f and suited by a sound surface; up 2lb but a contender. 3lb higher than when winning narrowly over C&D last month; may be able to build on that. |

22/1(-10%) | (9) Dark Kestrel 22/1, Scored by 1 1/4l off a 2lb lower mark here in October but was below form for no obvious reason last time; wide draw; effective over 5/6f and acts on a sound surface; form is very in and out. Two of his four wins have come over C&D; each-way player if they go hard up front. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(12) (25/1 -79%)Darlo Pride |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KING'S CROWN won over C&D before running on late to finish a close second back here last month. It could pay to stick with Michael Dods' sprinter, given he looks a safer proposition than Mesaafi in his current frame of mind. The latter has been in the mix over 6f on the Polytrack of late and drops in trip with a shout. Hover On The Wind could shape well again having won a lower grade sprint at the track last time.

The vote goes to dual C&D winner KING'S CROWN (nap) who come into this in fine fettle.

Set plenty to do when good sixth here latest; ought to be in the shake-up off easing mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Course regular CALLIANASSA was entitled to need the outing when placed here on her first start since August. The daughter of Invincible Army recorded a C&D double during the summer and remains of interest off her current mark. Concert Boy has a 9lb hike to contend with having returned the decisive winner at the track last time, so The Green Man may prove a bigger danger.

Lots with chances but FRANCESI has thrived since joining Tony Carroll and is taken to bag a second win for the yard.

CORAMENTO ended last year in fine form. Successful over 7f here in October, he had a subsequent dual winner back in third when following up over C&D and the hat-trick beckons for David Thompson's charge on the strength of that form. Pallas Lord showed signs of a resurgence when third at the track recently, while No Nay Nevermind and the veteran Trais Fluors also enter calculations.

Having twice recently run as if this step up from 7f is timely, NO NAY NEVERMIND is narrowly preferred to veteran Trais Fluors.

Doon The Glen ended his last campaign with a breakthrough victory over C&D and he's worth a second look in the market on his return to handicap company. Regardless, ATHOLLBLAIR BOY arrives on the back of a good second over track and trip and a 2lb nudge up the ratings may not prevent compensation. Spartan Fighter and Master Dandy are other key players.

Top of the list is MASTER DANDY, who returned to form with a bold bid over C&D 12 days ago and is a big player if he can back that up.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having looked something of an unlucky loser when a never-nearer second over C&D recently, FIRCOMBE HALL makes plenty of appeal. Philip Kirby's inmate is likely to go close with a similar performance and a ninth career victory may beckon. Reopposing fourth Penny Mountain may serve the most resistance to the selection, although an improved performance from Beneficiary in refitted blinkers wouldn't come as a surprise.

Top-weight DILIGENT HENRY, who didn't enjoy the rub of the green when tenth at Chelmsford last time, could prove the answer eased 1lb.
Ths is the racecard key.
