There has been no stopping YORKSHIRE GLORY, who made it four wins from his last five appearances when victorious over C&D last week. Ben Haslam's charge is 4lb well-in and can continue his fine run of form, although Raft Up only finished half a length behind him last month and looks a big threat. Harb and Spun To Gold are a couple of others to consider.

4lb well-in after last Friday's C&D apprentice handicap win for Harry Vigors, YORKSHIRE GLORY is fancied to complete the four-timer.

Quite an open classified event given that most of these are in and around an official rating of 50, so only a tentative vote can go to CELEBRATING ETHEL. Tony Carroll's mare showed plenty more in a handicap at Wolverhampton and, with blinkers applied for the first time, she might find a little extra. Myna went desperately close last time and another big run looks on the cards, as it does for Alpine Sierra, who can benefit from an ease in class.

The vote goes to REGAL GLORY, who hasn't had the breaks since joining Roger Fell. Rock Armour could do better back in blinkers.

JODHPUR BLUE has been knocking hard at the door in recent starts and can gain a thoroughly deserved second career success. Clansman was no match for an easy winner over an extended 2m here but could get closer to the principals now dropped in trip, and Bouboule should be happier back on the level following a disappointing effort over hurdles at Musselburgh.

It's not hard to pick holes in a number of these and JODHPUR BLUE looks the one to beat. Golspie rates the main danger.

PORTMAN BLUE proved his 66/1 third at Lingfield on debut wasn't a fluke when filling the same position at Kempton last month and the four-year-old appears capable of getting off the mark at the third attempt. Cotai Eye Joe made a pleasing introduction over 6f at Wolverhampton and will likely improve for this step up in trip, while Blue Mantle and Supreme Lillia are both respected despite absences.

After two solid efforts on Polytrack, PORTMAN BLUE gets the vote ahead of Blue Mantle and Supreme Lillia.

Contorno won here two starts ago and he is capable of being in the mix. Others to consider are Mystical Land and Havana Jag.

Mystical Land can do better if more amenable but ENTER SANDMAN is given another chance in the hope he settles in cheekpieces.

Trilby is used to keeping better company and the betting could guide as to what is expected from him following a 138-day absence, similarly William Dewhirst, who was last seen finishing half-a-length second in this 12 months ago. Aisling Oscar isn't dismissed dropped in both trip and class, but GRANT WOOD edges the vote. Paul Midgley's gelding was a game track-and-trip winner recently and should go close off a 2lb higher mark if arriving in the same mood.

This looks a nice opportunity for GRANT WOOD to record back-to-back C&D wins. Ziggy's Condor is the main danger.

Hard to be too confident about any of these, but DESERT MASTER does bring winning C&D form to the table and recent efforts suggest that he will be bang there again. Kipp Kelly won and placed in similar races to this at Wolverhampton last month and can better his latest Southwell performance, while the first-time-visored Auntie Jo also holds claims.

Free-going front-runner CAPTAIN KINSELLA (nap) has plenty in his favour, coming down in class and trip. Sir Benedict is next best.
