16:33 Newcastle (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for DUFFUS CASTLE after a taking success over the extended mile at Wolverhampton earlier in the month, the son of Adaay is likely to have more to come and he can follow up. That may be at the main expense of last-start C&D third Russian Virtue and Grizzieblanca, who has switched yards since scoring over 1m4f at Catterick in May.

Preference is for DUFFUS CASTLE who justified support off a reduced mark at Wolverhampton and is a big player again back up in trip.

17:08 Newcastle (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LILLISTAR may be a maiden after 13 starts on the level (20 appearances in total), but she showed up well when narrowly denied at Ripon last month and this appeals as an ideal opportunity to break her duck. Despite a 5lb penalty after scoring over C&D, Quercus Robur is expected to be thereabouts, while Star Of Markinch has the potential to improve for going back up in trip.

Quercus Robur is respected under a penalty but QUEEN ROSLYN will find this easier than the Racing League event contested last time.

17:44 Newcastle (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The fact that TEN SIXTY SIX stays further could be a major plus on a stiff track like Newcastle and, having been runner-up on two of her three career outings, David O'Meara's charge narrowly sets the standard on form. A promising second on debut at Carlisle, where she had Thornaby Annie a length behind in third, Gwen's Girl is open to any amount of improvement and must enter calculations.

Ten Sixty Six looks worth a crack at sprinting but GWEN'S GIRL may be the answer with her promising debut behind her.

18:15 Newcastle (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

THAISA returned to the fray in a first-time hood to finish a close third at Haydock in May and, freshened up again, is likely to take a step forward. Andrew Balding's filly looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to shed her maiden tag. Fierce Fortitude progressed to make the frame at Kempton and is an interesting contender on his turf debut. Great Dream is another to keep an eye on.

With just about the best form on show and returning to 7f, GREAT DREAM is preferred to Fierce Fortitude.

18:45 Newcastle (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SASSY GLORY comfortably took care of her nearest rival by three and a quarter lengths over track and trip earlier in the month and now has a 5lb penalty. Considering the manner of that success, it would be no surprise to see her go in again. Desert Raider has been thereabouts here the last twice and remains on a workable mark. Water Tiger warrants a market check on his first start in the handicap ranks.

Sassy Glory should rightly prove popular but the vote goes to YAFAARR, whose recent fourth on stable debut looks a run to build on.

19:15 Newcastle (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

INVITORIO outran his odds of 22/1 to fill the runner-up spot over C&D last week and goes off an unchanged mark. The Ruth Carr-trained three-year-old might only need to reproduce that display in order to record his second career success. Asadjumeirah struck over track and trip on his most recent start and holds an obvious chance, despite his 4lb penalty. Bazball looks best of the rest.

Pancake can go well but INVITORIO (nap) is handicapped to win and he shaped with plenty of promise when second here last week.

19:45 Newcastle (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There was little between Mister Mojito (third) and RIOT (fourth) at Chelmsford last week. Both can feature again, although the latter is preferred on this occasion, given he represents last year's winning yard and has won off higher marks in the past. Flying Fletcher ran into trouble when sent off favourite here last time and he could have a say in the outcome with better luck. Blazing Son is the pick of the remainder.

Without a repeat of the traffic issues that plagued RIOT and Mister Mojito last week the former can turn the tables.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SANBONA arrives at the top of his game. A winner at Wolverhampton last month, nothing looked like catching Michael Dods' improving sprinter when he made all at Musselburgh six days ago. An apprentice's allowance negates most of his penalty and he can go in again. Lady Of The Garr found only one too good here last time and drops in class with a shout, while Arlington could also prove competitive back on this surface.

Plenty of possibles but LADY OF THE GARR bumped into one here 11 days ago and she can get the better of Latin Five.
