The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

KNIGHT TEMPLAR hasn't looked back since joining Robert Stephens and being upped in distance and a four-timer could be on the cards. The three-year-old is only 2lb higher than for his latest victory at Kempton and he edges the vote over the down-in-grade Bringbackmemories, who has scored on the last two occasions he has appeared in class 4 company and isn't taken lightly. Get Shirty may chase the duo home.

GET SHIRTY's losing run stretches back to 2022 but he has been a regular in high-end middle-distance and staying handicaps in that time. This represents a marked drop in class and he can take full advantage, likely at the chief expense of Knight Templar, who has been a superb buy for his connections.

Knight Templar is on a roll but the class act in this field is the veteran GET SHIRTY.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Vibrato has form over a mile so the rise in distance since his latest second over an extended 5f at Bath shouldn't prevent another prominent showing. He also has proven fitness on his side, but the returning WHAT A QUESTION could have too much class. The Lope De Vega filly was too bad to be true when eighth in a Listed affair at Newmarket 493 days ago and she may bounce back to winning ways if near to her peak. Mrs Potts can claim third spot.

The race revolves around whether WHAT A QUESTION can return from a 16 month-absence near the level she showed on debut, as that will almost certainly suffice. Vibrato is the obvious second choice.

The returning WHAT A QUESTION was last seen in a Listed race and she can reward the patience of her connections.

Having found only a progressive juvenile too strong over 5f here last time out, compensation could be heading in GHOSTMAN's direction. Dylan Cunha's gelding should have no issues with a return to 6f and he makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark. Azuinthejungle is 1lb lower than for his close-up fifth behind the selection in that contest and he may serve the most resistance, ahead of nursery debutant We've Got This.

WE'VE GOT THIS caught the eye when third on qualifying run in a Ripon novice in July and very much appealing as a likely improver now handicapping, she could well be the way to go before market clues. Ghostman, following his good second here last time, and Bow Street back at 6f head up the dangers.

This can go to GHOSTMAN, who looks the one to beat having gone close over 5f here 18 days ago with two of these behind.

A winner of two of her four C&D starts this year, and victorious on her latest outing at Wolverhampton, WREN OFFICER sets the standard on recent form and she can follow up off a 3lb higher mark. That may be at the main expense of Flying Fletcher, who returned from a lengthy absence with a respectable effort at York in September and scored over track and trip on his penultimate outing. Another Investment and Sacred Falls are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

ANOTHER INVESTMENT was quickly back to form and lost little caste in defeat behind a couple of progressive 3-y-o's at Southwell 4 weeks ago. The return to 6f won't inconvenience Nigel Tinkler's 5-y-o and he's of interest operating just 1 lb above his last winning mark. Wren Officer comes here in fine form and is an obvious threat. Flying Fletcher and Sacred Falls aren't dismissed lightly, either.

The 3yo FLYING FLETCHER (nap) looks a sprinter with potential on this surface and he can prove too good for Another Investment.

ZOUZANNA improved for going back up to a mile when successful at Newmarket last time out and, with Finley Marsh retaining the ride, she can strike again off a career-high mark of 87. An easy winner of a seller on heavy ground at Leicester, the switch of stables seems to have done the trick for Alzahir and he should be thereabouts, along with the relatively unexposed Sir Gabrial, who has disappointed since scoring at Salisbury in July.

ALZAHIR ended his losing run in a seller at Leicester 3 weeks ago and looks set for more success now back handicapping from a fair mark. Zouzanna came in for a canny ride from Finley Marsh when scoring at Newmarket and has to be respected again in the hope she gets a sound pace. Serenity Dream caught the eye at Southwell and is worth a look.

It may be worth chancing C&D winner SIR GABRIAL whose latest effort suggests he will appreciate this return to a stiffer test.

An unlucky second when short of room and hampered over a furlong out at Chelmsford last month, TIME PATROL looks capable of gaining compensation on this occasion. Returning to Newcastle, where he ran well in March, is a plus and he gets the vote ahead of recent C&D third Asadjumeirah and Beneficiary, who bounced back to form with a strong runner-up effort over 5f at Southwell. Lord Abama and Variety Island cannot be ruled out either.

VARIETY ISLAND shaped better than the bare result behind Lord Abama here recently and his turn could be near again. Lord Abama, Asadjumeirah and Time Patrol are a few others to consider.

The choice is dual C&D winner BENEFICIARY who ran better when runner-up at Southwell last time and is back on his last winning mark.

WHERES THE CRUMPET appeared to appreciate the step back to a mile when readily getting the better of Mr Heinz over track and trip last month and, upped 4lb, she gets the vote to confirm her superiority en route to victory once more. True Nation lost little in defeat when runner-up in a slightly better race at Musselburgh and, off a 7lb lower all-weather mark, she may prove popular with punters.

TRUE NATION arrives at the top of her game and she looks potentially well treated off a lower AW mark. Wheres The Crumpet is feared having won well over C&D 3 weeks ago, while Tasever surely has a race in him off his reduced mark having gone close here last week.

Wheres The Crumpet had three of these behind when winning over C&D three weeks ago, but MR HEINZ may be able to reverse the form.

AL SHABAB fared best of those held up off the pace when finishing a staying-on second at Wolverhampton recently and it is eyecatching that Ian Williams' charge arrives on the same mark. With cheekpieces enlisted for the first time, this may just be the day to catch him. Recent all-the-way C&D winner Tickets warrants respect off 3lb higher, for all that he won't get an easy time of things out in front in this line-up. Marcello Si is also noteworthy.

It could be worth chancing KAPPARIS KID, who has dropped a long way in the weights ahead of his return to AW. Tickets turned in his best effort of the season when a narrow winner over C&D 2 weeks ago so is feared most ahead of Al Shabab, who was a good second at Wolverhampton last time and remains unexposed on AW.

It took TICKETS a while to break his duck in handicaps but he did so over C&D a fortnight ago and may well be able to follow up.
Ths is the racecard key.
