15:45 Newmarket (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Charlie Appleby won this last season with Ancient Truth, who went on to win the Group 2 Superlative Stakes, and he is represented this time by TREANMOR. A son of Frankel who cost 2,000,000 euros as a yearling, he could make a winning debut before moving on to bigger things. Vlad also looks the part on paper and is related to plenty of winners, while Dontwaryboutathing looks interesting in receipt of her fillies' allowance.

Recent results have demonstrated that seven-figure price tags are no guarantee of immediate success but TREANMOR may buck the trend.

16:15 Newmarket (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

REIGNING PROFIT heads south from Ruth Carr's Yorkshire stable looking for a hat-trick after wins at Pontefract and Ripon, and although he has an added 7lb to carry now, the six-year-old could not be in better form. Sanat was all out to win by a head after missing the start at Nottingham but has only been put up 2lb which may underestimate his ability, while Spring Bloom is the only C&D winner in the field and has Tom Marquand in the saddle.

This can go to C&D winner SPRING BLOOM who has a solid record on this course and is on a handy mark.

16:45 Newmarket (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Mercury Day looks interesting dropping back a furlong after pulling too hard over the mile at Kempton and she could surprise a few. LORD RAPSCALLION won this in 2023 off just 1lb lower and arrives with three wins in a row to his name. Izzari is another with claims but he might have to settle for a place in this field.

This looks the time to catch FLAG OF ST GEORGE, who is first choice ahead of Izzari and Waiting All Night.

17:15 Newmarket (Class 3) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Artisan Dancer placed in the Chester Plate last week and drops in distance with a shout, while Sportingsilvermine made a bold bid for a hat-trick when narrowly beaten last time and another good effort looks assured. However, ASSAIL did nothing but improve last year and, having given the strong impression this extra yardage would suit when scoring over 1m4f at both at Ascot and Kempton, David Simcock's charge gets the vote.

It's hard to bank against further improvement from SPORTINGSILVERMINE who may be well handicapped on his latest form anyway.

BOLO NEIGHS won a valuable sales race in fine style at the Curragh last autumn before finishing a creditable third in the Rockingham at York. The son of Coulsty makes his handicap debut with strong claims on the strength of that form and could prove better than his mark. Northern Ticker is another handicap debutant to note, having placed in Redcar's Two Year Old Trophy in October, while American Style is an improving handicapper and could also feature.

Being an impressive C&D winner who remains unexposed, SIXTYGEESBABY (nap) is preferred. Aurora Majesty is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Bopedro, who has won from this mark on the Rowley Mile before, is tremendously game and should give another good account of himself, despite this distance being at top end of his limit. However, this could set up nicely for MUTAAWID, who is a more proven stayer that can build on his Goodwood reappearance fifth. The hat-trick seeking My Margie also commands respect but this is a step into the unknown on her first attempt over 1m2f.

Bopedro, Mr Baloo and My Margie are respected on recent form but Andaleep and LORDSBRIDGE BLU could return to form.

18:45 Newmarket (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The progressive TAKE A BREATH made a successful debut in a handicap at Doncaster 15 days ago and is a logical option bidding to follow up. A 5lb higher mark seems fair and the William Haggas-trained filly is hard to resist. Unlike the selection, Lady Manzor and Saariselka have something to prove regarding the distance, therefore, Pacifist could offer some value as the only other previous winner over a mile.

Handicap debutante MAGNA GRECIA STAR looks interesting upped to 1m and is first choice ahead of Take A Breath.
