14:15 Nottingham (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAXIMUM SCEPTICISM travels over from Ireland and takes the eye representing Joseph O'Brien's powerful yard. The son of Churchill wasn't disgraced when fifth in a tougher maiden race at the Curragh last month and could prove a cut above today's opposition. He looks to have most to fear from Phantom Watch, who finished a creditable third at Newbury on debut, while The Lost Sock is a newcomer to note for a yard in fine form.

Irish raider MAXIMUM SCEPTICISM brings some pretty strong Curragh form here and looks the most likely winner.

14:50 Nottingham (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

THUNDEROUS LOVE has proved a much stronger filly as a four-year-old. She was winning for the fourth time in her last six starts when successful at Newbury last week and is taken to defy a 5lb penalty for Jonathan Portman's in-form yard. Novello Lad is looking to end a frustrating run of placed efforts and returns to 6f with solid claims, while Havana Sky has hinted at a return to form of late and he could have a say in the outcome.

Unlucky not to finish closer than fourth on his seasonal debut in May, BAYRAAT is taken to exploit a favourable mark.

15:25 Nottingham (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ON KEY found the competition too hot when only fourth in a higher grade sprint at Ripon last time. However, Julie Camacho's charge had gone close at the same track before that and looks worthy of another chance off his current mark back at this level. Silca Bay remains unexposed and first-time cheekpieces may bring improvement after placing at Kempton last time, while Titian Blue is another with scope having posted a more promising effort at Ayr recently.

Preference is for MISS HATHAWAY (nap), who did well to finish third from stall 1 at Thirsk last month and is now 3lb lower.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CAMTANK took a sizeable step forward from her first outing to shed her maiden tag at Lingfield last month and is likely to have plenty of improvement in her. The daughter of Camelot sets the standard with an official rating of 76 and will prove tough to beat. Life Is Rosie showed more when second at Windsor and is an interesting contender now that she steps back into a handicap. Of the remainder, To Be Honest makes the most appeal.

Camtank and Life Is Rosie have good claims but the selection is CATHERINE'S GIFT, who made a promising British debut in June.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY was beaten five lengths into second over track and trip last time and goes off an unchanged mark. The six-year-old looks to have found a suitable opportunity and he could go one better. Roman Secret failed to justify favouritism when last of three at Pontefract, but she isn't one to write off, along with Right Now after his fifth at the same venue last time.

The suggestion is RIGHT NOW, who is well handicapped if judged on his Pontefract second in May and has not had much luck lately.

BANANA struck by a head in a handicap at Chepstow last week and provided the six-year-old remains in similar form, she will prove very hard to beat. Marcus sported a first-time visor when finishing second at this level at Chepstow last time and needs to be considered, while Second Collection is another to watch out for.

Recent Chepstow winner Banana has solid claims but CANARIA QUEEN could be hard to beat on her first run at this lowly level.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
