13:58 Perth (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point-to-point and bumper winner CINAMMON ROLL made a winning debut over timber at Downpatrick and looks a promising recruit to this discipline. Less than fluent on that occasion, he will know more today and Sean Bowen's presence is another positive. Moonbow opened his account over hurdles in maiden company at Hexham and could shape well again if allowed his own way in front, while the dual bumper winner Aughafatten is worth a second look on his first start since 2023.

This looks good for CINAMMON ROLL, who is unpenalised for his win in an opportunity maiden hurdle at Downpatrick last month.

14:33 Perth (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SALAMANCA BAY was three lengths ahead when coming a cropper at the last fence here on his debut for a new yard. He looked sure to be bang there at the finish and is taken to make amends in this lower grade. Conquer The Breeze opened his account over the larger obstacles when successful at Hexham. However, he's been raised 8lb, and third-placed Nathan Wells may well turn the tables on more favourable terms.

It might be worth chancing the veteran SWORD OF FATE, who ran much better than the bare form suggests at Cartmel a fortnight ago.

15:08 Perth (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Luckie Seven failed in his bid for a hat-trick when only third at Kelso back in November. He could be in the mix on his return, but MATCHLESS made no mistake when attempting to land a treble and returning the easy winner at Hexham last month. Jennie Candlish's charge still looks ahead of the handicapper on that evidence and can defy a further 5lb rise. Jakana bounced back with a second at Hexham recently and could land a blow.

We haven't seen dual course winner LUCKIE SEVEN since November but he probably still has potential and gets the vote.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Lisa Harrison has her string in good order at present and WASDELL DUNDALK could be set to increase her fortunes. The veteran arrives on the back of a solid second over C&D and he makes grand appealing racing off an unchanged mark. Sea Aster has struggled to land a blow since landing the spoils at Down Royal in mid-April, but warrants consideration on her raid across the Irish Sea with Sean Bowen booked to ride. Whistleinthedark is also noted.

This can go to course specialist WASDELL DUNDALK (nap), who kept on well for second here last month and remains well handicapped.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having left behind his sixth-placed reappearance here when scoring over the same C&D 10 days ago, Dalileo merits respect in his follow-up bid. However, a 5lb higher mark does demand more and HOSTILE HOTELIER may prove to be better handicapped. Jennie Candlish's gelding held every chance but for falling at the last at Warwick last month and compensation could be on the cards. Seasonal debutant Takt De Touques is of interest as well.

All five have possibilities but the one with most potential is triple bumper winner TAKT DE TOUQUES, who makes his handicap debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TOP FLIGHT CENTURY built on his fifth-placed handicap bow over today's track and trip when gaining a breakthrough victory over 2m4f here earlier this month. Although reverting to today's distance may be against the son of The Grey Gatsby, this looks a weaker contest and a 3lb rise from the assessor shouldn't forestall his progression. The biggest threat may emerge from recent C&D fourth Pure Gold, ahead of the down-in-class Ravenscraig Castle.

Competitive in stronger races than this in the early part of this year, RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE can outclass this field if on his mettle.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
