16/1(+60%) | (3) Eyetrap 16/1, Below form and did not stay when finishing down the field in a handicap at Dundalk most recently. Effective at 2m and has handled heavy ground, with the type to do better when handicapping. Record of 2-7 on Flat; well beaten in m'den hurdles and on AW latest; more time needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (200/1 +20%)Boston Fire |
200/1(+20%) | (1) Boston Fire 200/1, No worthwhile form to date and has plenty to prove for now. All recent efforts have been modest and he looks up against it at this stage, with low-grade handicaps likely to be more suitable in time. Failed to complete two points; same story on Rules bow; SU last time when always behind. |

50/1(-25%) | (4) Fulminis Instar 50/1, Pulled up in a maiden at Dromahane on his latest start and returns from a long absence. Faces a stiff task on his rules debut and will need to show marked improvement. Still in contention on point debut when falling but PU on better ground next time; watch. |

125/1(-89%) | (13) Banphrionsa Alainn 125/1, Pether's Moon mare; half-sister to Grove Ash, moderate at 19f; not an easy one to fancy on debut. Half-sister to two winners; can improve for this debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

200/1(+20%) | (15) Question Asked 200/1, Ran poorly when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Clonmel on her only start so far. Needs to show much more and may require this run. Sent off 100-1 for hurdles debut 18 days ago and ran like it; hard to recommend. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (12) (200/1 +0%)Zarushio |
200/1(+0%) | (12) Zarushio 200/1, Made a moderate debut when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse. That was his only start so far and he may need more time before showing his best form. Tailed off on debut at Fairyhouse at 200-1; ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (5) (200/1 +20%)Jetstream Jeff |
200/1(+20%) | (5) Jetstream Jeff 200/1, Has shown no worthwhile form so far and there is plenty to prove on what he has achieved. Likely to need more time and may be better suited to handicaps further down the line. Failed to complete opening points and tailed off on hurdling debut; unlikely.. |

LEADER D'ALLIER won five bumpers in France and was sent off a warm favourite on his hurdle debut at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting when beating all bar Ballyfad with Straight John over four lengths behind in sixth. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding should benefit from that experience and can go one better. The latter was making his racecourse debut on that occasion and is entitled to improve from that display. Maxfort made a pleasing start to his career when placed behind the selection's stablemate The Reverend at Cork earlier this month, while point-to-point winner Cloudio was second in a strong Cork bumper last spring and is an interesting recruit to hurdles.

LEADER D'ALLIER was a three-time French bumper winner and can gain his first win on Irish soil following a second on hurdles debut

1st (4) (8/1 +50%)Sopelana |
8/1(+50%) | (4) Sopelana 8/1, Ran to form when well beaten in the QuinnBet Handicap Hurdle (Listed) at Limerick on her latest start. Effective at 2m on heavy and good ground, and in fair form over hurdles. C&D winner, out of depth twice since, this easier but more needed in new headgear combo. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (5/4 +9%)Bibe Mus |
5/4(+9%) | (1) Bibe Mus 5/4, Yard has won last two runnings of race; ran to form when second beaten 5l in Wirral Juvenile Hurdle (Listed) at Aintree latest; effective at 2m, acts on S; chance in this. Gowran maiden winner, runner up in Aintree listed juvenile latest, respected on h'cap bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (12/1 +64%)Rua Mor |
12/1(+64%) | (6) Rua Mor 12/1, Did not get home when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Leopardstown on his latest run. Effective at 2m and may do better now he moves into handicap company. Well held in three maidens including one here, likely best watched on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (40/1 -43%)Ahellofaman |
40/1(-43%) | (7) Ahellofaman 40/1, Ran to form when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Cork last time. Returns from a short break, is effective around 2m, and may do better now handicapping. Well held in bumper and three maiden hurdles, can only be watched on h'cap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (11/2 +54%)Kasper Hauser |
11/2(+54%) | (5) Kasper Hauser 11/2, Poorly placed off steady pace in race dominated from front when beaten 4l off this mark here last time; effective 2m, acts on S and G; good mark on maiden form, worth another chance in handicaps. Not beaten far on handicap debut here latest, this shorter trip a plus, could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (10/3 -11%)Crooked Path |
10/3(-11%) | (3) Crooked Path 10/3, Ran to form when second, beaten 9l, in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last time. Effective at 2m with cut in the ground and on good going, and can go well again. Maiden form ties in with Bibe Mus and Kibris, 7lb claimer on for h'cap bow, can't discount. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (8/1 -129%)Kibris |
8/1(-129%) | (2) Kibris 8/1, Ran to form 14l third in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse most recent run; top course trainer; stays 2m, acts on S and G; likely improver now handicapping. Promise in all three maidens, opening mark looks fair, go well with jockey claiming 5lb. |

The familiar colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede are doubly represented here and riding arrangements suggest BIBE MUS is preferred of the pair. The Camelot gelding beat Crooked Path in a Gowran maiden in October and has been placed on both outings since, including when runner-up to Lord in an Aintree Listed race. This represents a drop in class and he gets the vote over Kibris, who won a Curragh maiden on debut as a juvenile but is without a win in three outings over hurdles. Kasper Hauser has plenty of jumping experience and is weighted to reverse previous Cork places with Crooked Path.

KASPER HAUSER wasn't beaten that far on handicap debut over 19.5f here two weeks ago and this shorter trip should suit

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (16) (9/1 -38%)Torpille Dagrostis |
9/1(-38%) | (16) Torpille Dagrostis 9/1, Finished below form when well beaten in a mares' bumper at Limerick last time, having been in good form prior. Cheekpieces are tried for the first time and she may do better now hurdling. Placed in point and opening bumpers; questions to answer after well beaten last time. |

3rd (9) (9/4 -13%)Miss Doyenne |
9/4(-13%) | (9) Miss Doyenne 9/4, Improved on switching to hurdles when beaten 3l into third in a maiden hurdle at Down Royal last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and is a likeable sort who appeals plenty. Point and bumper winner likely to improve from hurdles debut when fading late; player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (12) (15/2 -15%)Shadys Lady |
15/2(-15%) | (12) Shadys Lady 15/2, Finished below her bumper level when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Naas last time. Effective at 2m and is surely better than she showed on hurdles debut. Good bumper form but was 30l behind on hurdles debut last time; capable of better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (18) (150/1 +25%)Westandtogether |
150/1(+25%) | (18) Westandtogether 150/1, Was a no-show from off the pace when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse last time. Returns from a short break and may do better when switching to handicaps. Best of maiden runs came here on debut (2m4f), but was 32l behind all the same; unlikely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (16/1 +43%)Courtmac Gesture |
16/1(+43%) | (3) Courtmac Gesture 16/1, Fell in a maiden hurdle at Clonmel on her latest start. Returns from a short break and is effective at 2m; has a chance if none the worse for that fall. Steadily improved RPRS in bumpers but fell on hurdling debut; place chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (250/1 -213%)Forever And A Day |
250/1(-213%) | (5) Forever And A Day 250/1, Eliot mare; half-sister to Alltalknoaction, moderate at 20f; doesn't appeal too much on debut with the experience likely to be needed. Distant relation to Grand National winner Hedgehunter; unlikely to make immediate impact. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (14/1 -56%)Doing It In Style |
14/1(-56%) | (4) Doing It In Style 14/1, Fell in a graduation hurdle here last time. Effective around 2m and looks the type to do better once going handicapping. Some ability in bumpers and positive efforts over hurdles recently; stable back in form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

250/1(-67%) | (8) Lady Victrix 250/1, Finished below form when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Down Royal on her most recent start. Has plenty to prove until switching to handicaps. PU and tailed off in three opening maiden runs; plenty to find. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (1) (40/1 -233%)Auntie Ida |
40/1(-233%) | (1) Auntie Ida 40/1, Showed some promise on debut when beaten 10l into fourth in a mares' bumper here first time out. Effective at 2m2f and should improve now switching to hurdles. Shaped with promise on bumper debut here and place chance if taking to hurdles first time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (100/1 +20%)Lady Aquarelle |
100/1(+20%) | (7) Lady Aquarelle 100/1, Managed to complete for the first time in a maiden point last time. No worthwhile form to her name and, returning from a short break, faces a tough task on rules debut. Fell on opening two points before beaten 30l last time; that form shouldn't be good enough. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (13) (150/1 -127%)Starski |
150/1(-127%) | (13) Starski 150/1, Pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse on her latest run. Looks to need more time but is with a good yard. Never better than midfield before PU when saddle slipped on debut (80-1); unlikely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (17) (125/1 -150%)Two Seconds |
125/1(-150%) | (17) Two Seconds 125/1, Ran below her debut level when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse last time. Effective at 2m5f but a bounce back is needed. Moderate debut fourth before tailed off latest; others more likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (14) (150/1 -88%)Talas Kera |
150/1(-88%) | (14) Talas Kera 150/1, Made mistakes, looked green and was outclassed when beaten 25l into third in a mares' hurdle at Fairyhouse last time. Effective around 2m but may have been flattered by that effort. Ordinary form in bumpers and jumped poorly on hurdling debut last time; others more likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (15) (150/1 0%)The Poet's Way |
150/1(0%) | (15) The Poet's Way 150/1, Poet's Word mare; dam unraced half-sister to useful 2m-2m5f hurdle/chase winner Leanne; doesn't appeal on debut. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 2m-2m5f hurdle/chase winner Leanne; best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (200/1 0%)Queen O'droad |
200/1(0%) | (11) Queen O'droad 200/1, Had a poor debut but was hampered when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Limerick on her only start. Likely to need more time. Hard to fancy on back of tailed off finish on debut at Limerick last month. |

BLUE VELVET won a Thurles bumper last season and made a pleasing reappearance over hurdles when runner-up to better fancied stablemate Espresso Milan over 2m here last month. The winner has franked the form since and this daughter of Blue Bresil has plenty of scope for improvement. Miss Doyenne has a similar profile to the selection and looks an obvious threat. The point-to-point winner beat Torpille Dagrostis in a Cork bumper last April and was also placed on her hurdles debut last month over 2m4f at Down Royal. Shadys Lady beat Torpille Dagrostis by 10 lengths in a Naas bumper but was soundly beaten on her hurdling bow at the same venue.

There's substance to BLUE VELVET (nap)'s form and he can build on his runner-up finish behind Espresso Milan on hurdles debut to win

1st (5) (2/1 +27%)The Passing Wife |
2/1(+27%) | (5) The Passing Wife 2/1, Had every chance but ran below form when comfortably held in the Future Champions Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) at Leopardstown last time. Had been in good form prior, is effective at 2m, and has a good chance dropping in grade. 3-6 in bumpers, fine run in Grade 2 Royal Bond, leading claims back in maiden company. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (2/5 +20%)Doctor Du Mesnil |
2/5(+20%) | (2) Doctor Du Mesnil 2/5, Made a promising hurdles debut when second, beaten a nose, in a maiden at Leopardstown latest. The trainer is in form, effective at 2m-2m3f with cut, and a step up in trip should suit. Holds leading claims. Cork bumper winner, beaten a nose on hurdles debut latest, go well if handling ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (28/1 +15%)Haveanothertry |
28/1(+15%) | (3) Haveanothertry 28/1, Showed some promise on debut when 12l fourth in a bumper at Limerick first time out. Effective at around 2m2f with cut and should do better now starting out over hurdles. Beaten 12.5l in Limerick bumper on debut, more needed to make winning start over timber. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (125/1 +38%)Atlantic Gamble |
125/1(+38%) | (1) Atlantic Gamble 125/1, Ran to form when well beaten in a maiden hurdle here latest. Effective at 2m with cut in the ground and looks the type to do better when switched to handicaps. Six-time Flat winner, well held both maiden hurdles, qualifies for h'caps after this. |

THE PASSING WIFE hails from a yard returning to form and was a smart sort in bumpers, winning three times. The selection has taken well to hurdles this term notably finishing best of all when third to Koktail Brut in the Grade 2 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse. He was soundly beaten in a Grade 1 last time but will appreciate this drop in class and should be suited by the step up in trip. Doctor Du Mesnil impressed when beating Thedeviluno by 11 lengths on debut in a Cork bumper last April and was narrowly denied when switched to hurdles at Leopardstown last month. Springhill Warrior had Atlantic Gamble over 20 lengths behind when second here last time.

This looks a gilt edged opportunity for THE PASSING WIFE to get his head in front

1st (2) (2/1 +56%)Spinningayarn |
2/1(+56%) | (2) Spinningayarn 2/1, Improved to get off the mark when winning a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse by 7 1/2l last time. Effective at 2m–2m4f, acts on heavy and soft ground, and likely has more to offer over hurdles. Beaten by Parnell Street on hurdles debut (heavy); improved to win last time on yielding. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (3/1 +40%)Parnell Street |
3/1(+40%) | (5) Parnell Street 3/1, Improved again up in class when an 11l third in a Conditions Hurdle at Limerick on his latest run. Effective at 2m–2m3f, acts on heavy and good ground, and is a progressive sort. Bumper/hurdles winner faced a tough task at Limerick last time; not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (14/1 -133%)Holy See |
14/1(-133%) | (4) Holy See 14/1, Improved to get off the mark when winning a novice hurdle at Limerick by 1/2l last time. Effective at 2m–2m3f, acts with cut, and there is more to come. Decent runs in defeat over hurdles before scoring last time; thereabouts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (10/1 +38%)Bokamsin |
10/1(+38%) | (6) Bokamsin 10/1, Bit below form when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last time. Effective at 2m, acts on soft ground, and a longer trip may suit. Much better effort in last two m'den hurdle runs, but up against it again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (11/8 -10%)I'm Slippy |
11/8(-10%) | (1) I'm Slippy 11/8, Improved from debut when second, beaten 7 1/2l, in the Jack McInerney Memorial Hurdle (Grade 3) at Fairyhouse last time. Comes here off a short break, is effective at 2m and acts on heavy and yielding ground. Distant runner-up behind Supreme contender Talk The Talk latest, longer trip should suit. |

I'M SLIPPY won a valuable bumper on debut at last year's Fairyhouse Easter meeting and easily landed the odds when switched to hurdles at Cork in November. The Robert Tyner-trained gelding was no match for Talk The Talk subsequently at Fairyhouse but that form was put in perspective when the winner looked set to follow up in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown only to fall at the last. Point-to-point winner Spinningayarn took a Navan bumper on his Rules debut and made all last time for a decisive victory in a 2m4f Fairyhouse maiden hurdle. Holy See is another to watch out for.

An interesting contest. PARNELL STREET already has a victory over Spinningayarn off level weights and may confirm the form

11/8(-10%) | (6) Kobalt St Georges 11/8, Travelled well and did it cosily when improving again to land a handicap by 2 1/4l off a 6lb higher mark at Clonmel last time. Returns from a short break, effective over 2m–2m4f with cut, and reverts to hurdles off a lower rating. 0-8 over hurdles, two chase wins this season, rated 16lb lower in this sphere, big chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (7/2 +53%)Ellies Rock |
7/2(+53%) | (10) Ellies Rock 7/2, Ran to form when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Gowran Park last time. Returns from a short break; effective up to 2m4f and might yet have a bigger effort in her. Beaten 22l when sixth of 19 on debut for this yard, more needed to get her head in front. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (6/1 +0%)Rebel Cowgirl |
6/1(+0%) | (9) Rebel Cowgirl 6/1, Produced her best run since 2024 when beaten 3 1/2l off a 1lb lower mark at Limerick last time. Effective around 2m4f with cut and has a chance if building on that latest effort. 0-12, better run at Limerick latest, place claims at least with a repeat off 1lb higher. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (15/2 -88%)Deanery Charlie |
15/2(-88%) | (7) Deanery Charlie 15/2, The yard won this race last year. Outpaced and with too much to do when ridden to see out the trip, finishing fourth beaten 20l in a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse latest; effective over 2m–2m4f with cut and may do better yet. Improved effort on h'cap bow at Fairyhouse, should be in the mix off the same mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (10/1 +38%)Build A Bridge |
10/1(+38%) | (2) Build A Bridge 10/1, Probably made a bit too much use of when dropped in trip and comfortably held in a handicap hurdle here last time. Effective over 2m2f–3m, with good ground suiting, and worth another chance in handicaps. Struggled on h'cap debut on heavy, better here latest on yielding, ground a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (66/1 -164%)Potters Pal |
66/1(-164%) | (5) Potters Pal 66/1, A no-show from off the pace when finishing down the field in a graduation hurdle here most recently. Tongue-tie is applied for the first time; usually held up and may do better now handicapping. Modest form in points and maiden hurdles, tongue tie on, watch unless market speaks. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (18/1 -64%)The Dancen Kid |
18/1(-64%) | (3) The Dancen Kid 18/1, Improved when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Naas most recently. Hood is applied for the first time; usually held up, effective at 2m with cut, and a longer trip looks a plus now handicapping. Soundly beaten in maidens at long odds, hood goes on for h'cap debut, hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (33/1 -32%)Dearg Mor |
33/1(-32%) | (4) Dearg Mor 33/1, Below form when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last time. Tongue-tie is fitted for the first time; effective at around 2m1f and may do better now moving into handicaps. Huge odds and no impact in maidens, tongue tied for h'cap bow, not easy to make case for. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (12/1 +14%)Robindevidastar |
12/1(+14%) | (8) Robindevidastar 12/1, Returned to form when rallying gamely to finish fourth beaten 9 1/4l in a handicap hurdle at Clonmel last time. Effective over 2m–2m4f; an unreliable veteran but now on a workable mark. 3lb below last win in Nov' 2024, handles testing ground, ok run latest, could go well. |

10th (1) (40/1 -21%)Ossifer Hops |
40/1(-21%) | (1) Ossifer Hops 40/1, Again below form when comfortably held in a novice chase at Tramore last time. Effective up to 3m with cut, but has proved unreliable and now switches back to hurdling. No win since 2023, well beaten in novice chase latest, ground a concern back over timber. |

KOBALT ST GEORGES appeared to benefit from a summer break when scoring twice over fences at Clonmel and now reverts to hurdles off a 16lb lower mark compared to his revised chase rating. Deanery Charlie didn't show too much in maidens but was noted staying on into fourth when switched to handicap company at Fairyhouse last time, while veteran Robindevidastar has dropped down to a basement mark and showed there was still some spark when fourth behind The Little Yank at Clonmel.

KOBALT ST GEORGES is 0-8 over timber but has won his last two chase starts and should be able to exploit his 16lb lower hurdles mark

10th (13) (25/1 +50%)Cloudy Fountain |
25/1(+50%) | (13) Cloudy Fountain 25/1, Again below form when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Limerick most recent. Cheekpieces are tried for the first time; effective from 2m4f to 3m and suited by cut, but she remains out of form. H'cap winner in 2024 off 83; hasn't beaten a rival in either start this season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (16/1 -33%)Kellys Corner |
16/1(-33%) | (1) Kellys Corner 16/1, Outpaced and with too much to do when beaten 8l in a beginners' chase at Cork last time, and looked in need of a stiffer test. |PU| (9) (40/1 -21%)Patsy's Pride |
40/1(-21%) | (9) Patsy's Pride 40/1, Ran to form on handicap debut when beaten 9 1/2l in a handicap hurdle here last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f with cut, but needs more now that he is handicapping. Point winner has struggled in starts under Rules inc' on h'cap bow latest; up in trip now. |

COMEONARCHIE seems best with plenty of cut in the ground and was fitted with cheekpieces for the first time when making all over a similar trip here last month. He still appears reasonably treated off just a 5lb higher mark and gets the vote over fellow nine-year-old One Horse Army. The latter showed stamina is his strong suit when scoring twice over fences last term and had a couple of these rivals behind when a creditable fifth over hurdles at Limerick last time. Nettuno Italia can also get competitive.

The vote goes to dual chase winner ONE HORSE ARMY, who runs off a 19lb lower mark in this sphere and will be suited by this distance
Ths is the racecard key.
