13:40 Ripon (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BRAVE TRAVELLER missed the break at Beverley on debut, but he finished strongly to take fourth over the stiff 5f. This extra yardage shouldn't be an issue on that evidence and a bold bid is anticipated. Well beaten when fourth at Thirsk, Here Forever could be thereabouts in this maiden if the first-time tongue-tie has the desired effect, while Ballybunion is preferred to Container Express of the remaining pair.

This is much weaker than the race at Thirsk in which HERE FOREVER ran fourth, though Brave Traveller shaped okay on debut.

14:15 Ripon (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ASSARANCA ticks plenty of boxes. She found this trip to her liking when finishing a strong second on the soft going at Sandown latest and Richard Hannon's filly could go one better. Zooter has shown ability and finished a respectable fourth over C&D in novice company last time. He has to be of interest on his nursery debut and makes more appeal than Conjecture.

This may go to ZOOTER who has run solid races since flying too high in the Chesham and he looks open to the most improvement.

14:50 Ripon (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SMART VISION arrives at the top of his game. Jessica Macey's sprinter carried a big weight to victory at Beverley before going close on testing ground at Chester a week ago, and he looks worth sticking with. Gold Star Hero took advantage of a falling mark to score at Yarmouth and could be in the mix once again, while Vince L'Amour rates best of the rest.

Having been nabbed close home at Ayr last week VINCE L'AMOUR (nap) can gain compensation. Gold Star Hero is feared most.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A tentative vote goes to EYE OF DUBAI, who returned to form with a creditable placed effort in the Ayr Silver Cup, despite being slightly hampered over 2f out. With a victory and a second on his two previous efforts over C&D, the four-year-old is narrowly preferred to Another Baar, who arrives here on a five-timer but must prove himself back at 6f. Beaujolais Nouveau is another to bear in mind.

Plenty of possibles but 2024 winner EYE OF DUBAI ran well at Ayr last week and is preferred to the unexposed Strong Warrior.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DREAM DEAL scored at the expense of a subsequent winner at Catterick last time out, and a 6lb rise could prove lenient as Tim Easterby's charge looks to go in again. The hat-trick seeking Mrs Trump can follow the selection home, along with Annie Edson Taylor, who has not finished outside of the first three home in each of her last four outings. Keep an eye on Eldeyaar, Ifonlytheycudtalk and Roundhay Park too.

Annie Edson Taylor has done well since blinkered but BIG APPLE JACK is an unexposed 3yo who retains a fair bit of potential.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Some may question the Hamilton form, but AEQUITAS was accomplished for a newcomer and this could be well within the compass of the David O'Meara-trained filly as she looks to supplement that debut victory, given she's open to plenty of improvement. Driver's Pick's French form is encouraging and he appeals more than the newcomer Knighton and Stitching Wheel at this stage.

With Driver's Pick returning from a year on the sidelines the safest bet is recent Hamilton winner AEQUITAS.

17:15 Ripon (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SAWGRASS is open to progression over this sort of trip and could take another step forward after a respectable third-placed finish over 1m6f at Salisbury last month. That effort came after a 71-day break and the daughter of Gleneagles could be spot on for this off just 1lb higher. Recent Chester winner Marbuzet also rates a key player running off just 2lb higher, while The Crafty Mole and Cock And Bull also warrant close inspection.

A winner last time out at Chester and with a solid record at this track, MARBUZET gets the vote ahead of Sawgrass.
