CHEERS AGAIN has gained all three wins over a mile at Dundalk but also has plenty of placed form on turf and holds strong claims at the weights. The Paul Flynn-trained gelding comes here off the back of a couple of solid efforts including when third to the progressive Onemoredance over 1m1f at Leopardstown and the booking of Dylan Browne McMonagle adds to confidence. Theophilos enters calculations on his second to Miss Nifty at Naas but needs to bounce back after disappointing at Navan, while Can I Kiss You was far from disgraced on her handicap debut at Tipperary.

Three-time Dundalk winner CHEERS AGAIN is suited by the race condition and may be capable of recording a breakthrough turf win

THARAKA was soundly beaten on debut in a soft ground Leopardstown maiden but showed much improved form on a sounder surface at Gowran last month. The Ken Condon-trained filly had Tahcawin nearly four lengths behind when third to newcomer Alibah and should have further scope for improvement. Spinning Around has also shown some promise in two outings and only weakened in the final furlong when fourth at Leopardstown last month with runner-up, Teewinot, subsequently landing the odds at Lingfield. Riding arrangements suggest Echo Of Faith is preferred of Jessica Harrington's pair and the Listowel maiden in which he finished a moderate fourth has thrown up a number of subsequent winners.

This could be a good opportunity for SPINNING AROUND who has picked up experience at Leopardstown since her C&D debut

GIOVANNI GIORGIO showed promise when keeping on into mid-division behind New Zealand on debut at the Curragh last month. The form of that race has been working out well since and the Persian King colt should progress with that experience under his belt. Riding arrangements suggest he is preferred to Duke Of Cumberland, who showed the benefit of a previous run when placed behind Joltin at the Galway Festival. Check This Out was no match for runaway winner Romeo Sensini here on debut before prominent throughout when successful over C&D. Pierre Grosse didn't enjoy a clear run behind the impressive Montreal at Leopardstown and should progress from that experience.

GIOVANNI GIORGIO could be the one to be on after his very promising debut in a hot maiden at the Curragh

The well-bred PROXIMA CENTAURI showed useful form last year notably when placed behind Chantez at Leopardstown and again ran over 7f when reappearing at the Curragh last month. The Jessica Harrington-trained filly had Tina's Charm about a length behind when fifth to Shelbiana in a 21-runner maiden and may now have most to fear from Perfect Base. She beat all bar Shakazia at Fairyhouse and the combination of a mile and meeting some interference proved too much at Naas last time. Suerte was just denied at Dundalk earlier this year but has failed to progress since.

PERFECT BASE is narrowly preferred in the hope she can repeat the form she showed on her second start at Fairyhouse

JUNIPER SLING showed promise on debut and her pedigree suggests she will progress with racing. By Sea The Stars and a half-sister to her yard's late maturing Group 1-placed Thunder Kiss, she finished ahead of a subsequent maiden winner on debut and while she disappointed at Bellewstown, that was her first run for 67 days, so should progress. Keen-going Bryant is by Wootton Bassett and out of a Group 3 winner and debuts in Ireland. He bumped into a subsequent Group 3-winner in April before disappointing in a useful Newmarket handicap. Reverting back up in distance will help although he needs to settle. Speedily-bred Smithfield attracted support when narrowly defeated at Galway, but steps up markedly in distance.

SEARS CROSSING stayed on strongly over 1m2f last time and he looks well worth another go at this sort of trip

PILLAR OF HOPE seems to have found his niche racing over this distance on turf recently and ran well at the Galway festival. A five-time winner, his rating had fallen prior to winning on Derby Weekend at the Curragh and runs off the same rating as at Galway, where he wasn't beaten too far. Gotta Catch'em All is a 14-race maiden but has shown some nice form and finished second at Tramore just three days ago. Ms Messi is 6lb higher than when scoring at Tipperary recently but had been rated 63 last May and can continue to progress being a four-year-old.

With the help of his rider's 7lb claim, PILLAR OF HOPE can supplement the win gained at the Curragh before a close fifth at Galway

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
