13:30 Salisbury (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A drop in trip worked a treat for the recent Leicester 6f winner WAISTCOAT and there could be more to come from him. A 3lb nudge up in the ratings may prove inconsequential for the son of Sea The Stars and he's preferred to The Cola Brasil. Michael Bell's inmate arrives on the back of a solid second at Wolverhampton and he isn't taken lightly off a 7lb lower mark on turf. Ever Driven is the pick of the remainder.

Veteran mare DIAMOND COTTAGE probably needed her recent reappearance outing and has become well handicapped.

14:00 Salisbury (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ANTHELIA created a big impression when winning on debut at Bath last month and she looks one to keep on the right side of. Rod Millman's filly overcame greenness and may prove too savvy for the newcomers. Madame X, a half-sister to the Italian Group-placed Duc De Morny, boasts enough speed/class in her pedigree to give the selection something to think about, ahead of Piazza.

All three newcomers are interesting but ANTHELIA should be all the wiser for her Bath win which was quite impressive in the end.

14:30 Salisbury (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The hat-trick seeking Liosa arrives at the top of his game and, off the same mark as his latest triumph at Kempton, he is sure to have his supporters reverting to turf. However, The Last Lion gelding has yet to prove as effective on this surface, so it could be worth chancing LIL GUFF. The six-year-old made all on her penultimate outing at Bath and she wasn't disgraced on her following fifth at Southwell. The lightly-raced Second Name shouldn't be underestimated either.

Liosa is much respected off a potentially good mark but MISS SHOW OFF will surely enjoy better fortune than last time out.

15:10 Salisbury (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

EL MATADOR shaped with lots of promise, despite failing to justify favouritism, when hitting the woodwork on his debut at Nottingham in October. The son of Lope De Vega may have lots more to offer this season and can get off to a winning start. Sea Baaeed was well held in fifth at Newmarket on his most recent start, but sets the standard for others to aim at with a rating of 88. Any market confidence behind Marmalade Kid would be interesting.

Sea Baaeed is better than he showed on his return but conceding 7lb to the promising EL MATADOR may prove beyond him.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JUST AN HOUR comfortably took care of his nearest rival by over three lengths to score at Nottingham last month and a 6lb rise might prove to be on the lenient side. If the son of Justify remains in similar form, he will prove very hard to beat. Didaar showed more after being gelded over the winter when making the frame at Redcar and should remain competitive off an unchanged rating. Judge Frank looks best of the rest.

Just An Hour is solid but slight preference is for DIDAAR who should be able to build on his encouraging return at Redcar.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOLD CUP DAY caught the eye making late headway at Newbury on his introduction last month. He will have learnt plenty for that experience and this extra furlong will suit the son of Golden Horn. Earnest Belief is a full-brother to the top-notch stayer Coltrane and the newcomer will likely make his presence felt, while Triple Gee is related to middle-distance winners and could also get involved.

Bull Run could be the danger but GOLD CUP DAY has some experience and it was a likeable debut at Newbury.

WANNABEAWALLABY has slipped down the handicap and went close to landing that elusive first win when finding only one too good at Bath last month. Dylan Cunha's charge gets another chance in this similar contest. Breccia has won over hurdles since scoring at Wolverhampton at the end of last year and could launch a challenge, while Grey Owl recorded his only win to date over course and distance in August and returns to the fray 3lb higher.

Most of these find winning extremely difficult. GREY OWL (nap) has only won the once but he is consistent and this is very winnable.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
