6th (7) (4/1 -78%)Lovethiswayagain |
4/1(-78%) | (7) Lovethiswayagain 4/1, Ran to form but taken on up front and did bit too much too soon up in trip fourth beaten 3l in a maiden over 7f at Lingfield latest; probably needs this drop to 6f Clear second at Redcar in sole 6f attempt; one of the main players on form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (50/1 +0%)Plastered |
50/1(+0%) | (5) Plastered 50/1, Outpaced, similar modest form to debut well beaten in a maiden at Ffos Las latest; trainer in form; looks one for handicaps Brings the worst form. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LOVETHISWAYAGAIN was sent off at 1/3 to shed her maiden tag at Lingfield last time, but failed to live up to market expectations when only finishing fourth. This drop back in trip looks the right move and she remains the one to beat. Lost Signal shaped with lots of promise when third on debut at Newbury and is the main danger. Guernsey Angel can fight it out for the minor honours.

Dropped in distance, LOST SIGNAL should build on his Newbury effort. Lovethiswayagain is easily the biggest danger on form.

1st (1) (1/11 +9%)Addison Grey |
1/11(+9%) | (1) Addison Grey 1/11, Yard won this last year; chased leaders, squeezed for room 1f out, jockey accepted fate late, below winning debut form on return beaten 5 1/4l in a novice at Doncaster last time; off a short-break; yet to prove as effective on turf as AW Looked good on debut and there were excuses when 7th in a strong novice next time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (17/2 +29%)Scent Of May |
17/2(+29%) | (4) Scent Of May 17/2, Outpaced and never threatened on modest debut well beaten in a novice over 5f at Lingfield only start; trainer in form; returning from long layoff; needs to leave debut effort behind Never really involved from off the pace on the AW 11 months ago; went off 50-1 that day. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (28/1 -40%)Lady Of Killarney |
28/1(-40%) | (3) Lady Of Killarney 28/1, 4,500gns Sergei Prokofiev filly; dam very useful at 5f at 2yo; up against it First foal; dam 5f 2yo winner (RPR 78); likely best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (22/1 -10%)Able Bay |
22/1(-10%) | (2) Able Bay 22/1, Cable Bay filly; half-sister to George Sansevero, poor at 10f; dam very useful at 7f; hood first time; probably best watched Third foal out of a 5f-7f winner; bit ominous to see a hood applied from the outset. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ADDISON GREY made a strong impression when scoring on his debut at Southwell last November, but wasn't able to build on that when only seventh at Doncaster on his return. The son of Havana Grey sets a lofty standard with an official rating of 87 and looks tough to oppose. Any market support behind newcomer Lady Of Killarney would be interesting, while Scent Of May can beat Able Bay home for third.

Clive Cox could barely have unearthed an easier race for ADDISON GREY to get his career back on track.

1st (2) (5/2 +44%)Thunderous Love |
5/2(+44%) | (2) Thunderous Love 5/2, Scored by a neck off 63 at Newbury penultimate start; ran to form second beaten 1 1/2l off 68 last time; progressive on sound surface over 6f In form and this 2lb higher mark is unlikely to prevent another bold show. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (7/2 +61%)The Bitter Moose |
7/2(+61%) | (4) The Bitter Moose 7/2, Ran to form beaten 2l off 63 at Newbury last time; on long losing run but down to competitive mark, may need step back up to 7f ideally Didn't get a clear shot at it when beaten 2l at Newbury last time (6f, good to firm). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (11/2 +8%)Delagate This Lord |
11/2(+8%) | (3) Delagate This Lord 11/2, Ran to form beaten 1 1/2l off 68 at Kempton last time; sound surface suits best; not as good as he was and probably high enough in weights Best at Bath but he closed from off the pace to be fourth at Kempton 23 days ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (11/2 -100%)Silent Flame |
11/2(-100%) | (5) Silent Flame 11/2, Returned to form down in grade off reduced mark landing a handicap by a length off 60 here last time; still on recent winning mark but not one to rely on backing up latest Comfortable winner of apprentice race here recently; obvious chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (5/2 -11%)Em Four |
5/2(-11%) | (1) Em Four 5/2, Quickened, improved back on turf landing a handicap by 3l off 67 at Chepstow last time; steadily progressive, flatter track may suit best Raised 8lb for last week's Chepstow success but he remains lightly raced. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Thunderous Love is in fine form at present, winning two out of her last three outings, and she may continue in a similar vein. However, EM FOUR showed a big chunk of improvement when scoring comfortably at Chepstow recently and is now 8lb higher. Considering the manner of that success, he could be the one to beat. Last-time-out track and trip scorer Silent Flame isn't out of it either.

Thunderous Love is going great guns but THE BITTER MOOSE didn't get the breaks when behind the filly at Newbury.

1st (2) (6/1 +25%)Crystal Mariner |
6/1(+25%) | (2) Crystal Mariner 6/1, Ran to form 5 1/2l third in a handicap over 12f here most recent run; possibly best 10-12f; consistent but poor strike rate Some unsuccessful goes in 1m2f handicaps for M Stoute; down weights but not convincing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (9/2 +10%)Skibo |
9/2(+10%) | (5) Skibo 9/2, Lot to do well beaten in a novice over 7f at Wolverhampton latest; usually consistent; top course trainer; off a short-break; should suit this longer trip Shaped with promise over 7f and 1m; type to do better now up in trip and handicapping. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (7/1 -8%)Tribal Wisdom |
7/1(-8%) | (3) Tribal Wisdom 7/1, Given too much to do and closing line beaten 3 1/4l off 73 at Ascot last time; suited by 10f, below form only try at 12f, may need a sound surface; consistent All 3 wins at about 1m2f on AW; 0-14 on turf but creditable 5th at Ascot latest (1m2f). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (9/4 +44%)Antelope |
9/4(+44%) | (6) Antelope 9/4, Bit in hand scored by 2l off 69 at Leicester in May; ran to form third beaten 2 1/4l off 76 last time; acts on GF, GS; consistent Two 1m2f wins in May; has held form since without being ahead of his mark; involved again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (3/1 +14%)Dayzee |
3/1(+14%) | (1) Dayzee 3/1, Returned to form down in grade and trip in first time cheekpieces overcoming trouble landing a handicap by 3 1/2l off 70 at Newbury last time; remain well treated on old form, could follow up C&D winner on sole course start; first-time cheekpieces spurred her on for 1m2f win latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (13/2 -86%)Patsy Snugfit |
13/2(-86%) | (4) Patsy Snugfit 13/2, Quickened, held on, improved again under positive ride back down in trip landing a handicap by a nose off 75 here last time; trainer in form; progressive over 10f on sound surface Won two of her last three C&D starts; easy lead looks possible; claims again. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dayzee returned the convincing winner in first-time cheekpieces at Newbury last time. However, she has a 7lb hike to contend with in this higher grade and PATSY SNUGFIT is marginally preferred. The daughter of Havana Grey was winning here for the second time this season, when successful over C&D a fortnight ago, and a 3lb rise looks manageable. Skibo is worth a second look upped in distance for his handicap debut.

Skibo could show marked improvement now handicapping but DAYZEE won with authority at Newbury and can follow up.

1st (4) (9/2 -80%)Twilight Moon |
9/2(-80%) | (4) Twilight Moon 9/2, Ran to form just flattening out late up in trip, possibly outstayed 5 1/4l third in a handicap over 11f at Windsor most recent run; suited by 10f Proving a consistent maiden, having produced form figures of 22323 in last five turf runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (11/4 +61%)John T |
11/4(+61%) | (1) John T 11/4, Met trouble when beaten, below form on handicap debut down the field in a handicap at Newbury most recent; in good form prior; needs to prove up to current mark Soundly beaten last time (handicap debut) and seems to be the worst treated contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (9/4 +44%)Stormy Monday |
9/4(+44%) | (2) Stormy Monday 9/4, Outpaced, ran to form beaten 3l off 74 at Epsom last time; trainer in form; looks thorough stayer, may be worth a go at further than 12f but danger Best effort his term when placed off this mark at Haydock in May; respected on that form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (15/8 -36%)Jet Black |
15/8(-36%) | (3) Jet Black 15/8, Suited by fast ground when scored by 1 1/4l off 66 over 10f at Redcar penultimate start; ran to form second beaten 3/4l off 69 last time; consistent over 10f on sound surface; every chance Has posted form figures of 212 since handicapping; solid contender upped in distance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The progressive JET BLACK has a tendency to hang left and that may have cost her victory when caught close home over 1m2f at Windsor. Saying that, Andrew Balding's filly is open to improvement over this longer distance and looks worthy of another chance off her current mark. Stormy Monday is not badly treated on his third at Haydock back in May and makes more appeal in this grade than Twilight Moon.

Likely front-runner JET BLACK (nap) could prove difficult to peg back. Stormy Monday is second choice.

8/1(-33%) | (2) King Of The Dance 8/1, Quickened, ran to form landing a handicap by a neck off 52 over 7f at Chepstow last time; wide draw; acts on any; consistent over 7-8f Had only won on the AW but put that right when getting up close home at Chepstow. |

50/1(-25%) | (10) Mount Of Gold 50/1, Poor run down the field in a classified race over 7f at Lingfield most recent; out of form maiden Low-level maiden who is 7lb wrong at the weights and can be readily opposed. |

4/1(+11%) | (6) Qaaeadd 4/1, Returned to form in first time cheekpieces beaten 1 1/4l off 55 over 7f at Leicester last time; still early days, may get 1m; should go well Runner-up in second handicap at Leicester; that was over 7f but looks ready for 1m. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (13/2 0%)Alice's Impact |
13/2(0%) | (1) Alice's Impact 13/2, Benefited from positive ride scored by 1 1/4l off 51 at Brighton penultimate start; below form off revised mark fifth beaten 6 1/2l off 55 last time; significant jockey booking; suited by 1m on sound surface; handicapper may have caught up Recent Brighton winner but struggled off this career-high mark at Chepstow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (15/2 -25%)Oasis Sunrise |
15/2(-25%) | (4) Oasis Sunrise 15/2, Ran to form landing a handicap by 2l off 54 at Bath last time; usually held up; acts on any; consistent Consistency rewarded with a breakthrough success at Bath; raised 5lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (9/4 +25%)Lambournghini |
9/4(+25%) | (9) Lambournghini 9/4, Ideally suited by trip when scored by 3/4l off 47 over 7f at Chepstow three starts back; bit below form back in a handicap third beaten 3 1/2l off 51 last time; wide draw; suited by 1m on fast ground; remain competitive Keeping herself busy after finishing third at Leicester three days ago. |

9th (5) (8/1 0%)We'renotreallyhere |
8/1(0%) | (5) We'renotreallyhere 8/1, Landed a handicap by a nose off 47 at Brighton three starts back; ran to form Second beaten in a classified race at Lingfield latest; wide draw; fairly consistent at 7-8f, acts on any Had wind surgery and only 3lb higher than when dead-heating at Brighton in April. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (14/1 -17%)Valadero |
14/1(-17%) | (3) Valadero 14/1, Needed run beaten 6 1/4l in a handicap over 7f at Leicester last time; exposed and frustrating maiden Plenty of placed form but below his best after a break at Leicester and now 0-22. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

QAAEADD has more scope than today's rivals and gave the strong impression he will be winning sooner rather than later when runner-up over 7f at Leicester. Paul Attwater's charge can compete off an unchanged mark and looks to be crying out for this step up in trip. A recent winner at Bath, Oasis Sunrise can make her presence felt once again, while Lambournghini is not out of it either.

This looks quite open but QAAEADD looks ready for 1m after keeping on for second when favourite last week at Leicester.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
