17:13 Salisbury (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Back to winning ways with a taking performance at Chepstow last time out, DARVEL is likely to have more to offer and can follow up off 3lb higher in an amateur jockeys' handicap. Narrowly denied over 6f at Chepstow on Monday, Silent Flame must be of interest stepping up in trip, along with Ajrad, who has scored on two of his last three starts.

Darvel should run well but preference is for BEAU JARDINE who always commands a second look at this track.

17:43 Salisbury (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A 6lb penalty will make life tougher for PILU after scoring on debut at Bath earlier in the month, but he did so in comfortable fashion and stepping up in trip should bring about further improvement. A taking winner over 5f at Chepstow recently, Evie Ross is entitled to be thereabouts, along with Alarming, who looks the pick of the newcomers for the in-form Ralph Beckett yard.

The suggestion is PILU who was firmly on top in the finish at Bath. Evie Ross is the obvious danger.

18:13 Salisbury (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PROJECT INCHEON seemed to improve for a gelding operation when second over 7f at Kempton last week and the rise in distance can see him go one better with Hollie Doyle taking over in the saddle. Another open to improvement over 1m after a creditable runner-up effort at Wolverhampton, Gunalt Wavelength is a leading contender, as well as Torbay, who has strong claims on his penultimate success at Ffos Las.

This may go to PROJECT INCHEON who is predictably raised in distance after his rallying effort over shorter at Kempton.

18:43 Salisbury (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAMMA MARIA and the hat-trick seeking Time After Time have seen recent winning performances franked and are suggested as the pair to focus on. The latter emphatically won a classified stakes at Chepstow, before edging an apprentice rider's handicap at Haydock. However, a 4lb rise demands more, so William Haggas' filly shades the vote. She made a belated winning seasonal debut at Ffos Las and a 2lb rise should be more than manageable. Dragonflame and Pay Attention can fight it out for the minor spoils.

Both Time After Time and MAMMA MARIA are set fair to continue improving in 1m handicaps with the latter just preferred.

19:13 Salisbury (Class 4) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

An opening mark of 85 suggests EXPLODE has enough ability and scope to pay his way. Therefore, James Ferguson's decision to pitch the gelding into novice company could be a rewarding piece of placement. Soul Limbo's hurdles form reads well but the trip is a concern for his Flat-race debut, while Alcarath and Satavia need steps forward based on what they've achieved so far. With that in mind, Hellion may well be of interest on his racecourse bow.

This looks a good opportunity for EXPLODE who has been bumping into some classy horses on the AW.

19:43 Salisbury (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Several boast sound credentials but GREY OWL was in similar form ahead of winning this corresponding race 12 month ago and again looks to be a key player from just 3lb higher. Taritino, Sawgrass and Balgowan also come in this after consistent efforts and each adds enough to suggest support in the betting market could prove to be significant. Solar Pass is yet another with an each-way chance.

History might repeat itself for last year's winner GREY OWL (nap) who has run well in all his races this season.
