Having finished a close-up second at Wolverhampton in December, compensation could be heading in MOULIN BOOJ's direction. A 1lb rise in the ratings looks more than manageable for George Scott's charge and a fifth career victory could be on the cards. The five-year-old does lack a recent run, which gives hope to recent C&D third Rhythm N Hooves, while the downgraded Blind Beggar warrants respect too.

This looks open with the vote going to ZIGGY'S MISSSILE, who was better than the result when last seen at Lingfield. Moulin Booj is interesting back over the minimum trip, with Blind Beggar completing the shortlist.

Robert Cowell saddles two likely candidates but MOULIN BOOJ returns to action from a fair mark and could progress further this year.

HEBRIDEAN NOMAD has been knocking on the door in recent starts and the four-year-old makes plenty of appeal dropping in grade. Although the son of Ulysses isn't certain to stay the extra two furlongs, previous efforts suggest that he could improve for it. The biggest threat may emerge from Rogue Tornado, who is reverting to the all-weather after an unsuccessful attempt over hurdles at Plumpton. C&D winner Cinnodin shouldn't be underestimated either.

Top weight CINNODIN should be all the sharper for his recent run and can make the most of the drop in grade. Dance Time, Fast Fred and Swinging London are a trio of potential threats in a competitive-looking affair.

Andrew Balding colt HEBRIDEAN NOMAD has had his latest 1m4f course third boosted and shapes as if 1m6f will suit him.

THERAPIST found herself with too much to do when finishing fourth in a class 2 event over 1m2f at Lingfield 42 days ago. This extra furlong looks perfect for the daughter of Le Havre and she looks more than capable of scoring in class 4 company. Sid's Annie was demoted to second after causing interference to the reopposing Kinetic at Kempton last month, but the former is seen as the biggest danger.

CHARMAINE was given too much to do at Lingfield and is worth the chance to confirm the promise of her previous run. This does look competitive, though, with Caramay heading the dangers back down in class.

The lightly raced CHARMAINE (nap) makes the most appeal. She's well bred and promises to be suited by today's longer distance.

Zeus Olympios justified short odds on his debut over 7f at Kempton and has to be respected. However, he might find it tough to give 7lb and a beating to ISLAND HERO. The three-year-old only found the exciting prospect Treasure Fleet too good at Wolverhampton last time and if he can take a step forward, then he could be the one. Any market confidence behind Bouquet De Paris would be interesting.

ZEUS OLYMPIOS landed the odds with something to spare at Kempton on debut so may prove up to defying a penalty with improvement on the cards. Ralph Beckett's pair Man of La Mancha and Ledanis both offered plenty to work on starting out so head the dangers in an open-looking novice.

The fact ZEUS OLYMPIOS was backed off the boards on his Kempton debut suggests he has a good reputation and he's taken to follow up.

MATCH ANTHEM finished a neck behind Evoluir when second in a classified stakes off levels at Wolverhampton last time, but could reverse that form back in handicap company to record his third career success. Evoluir is likely to prove the main threat and has a previous course victory to aid his cause. King Of York struck in ready fashion over C&D on his latest outing and holds an obvious chance off 6lb higher.

If KING OF YORK is in the same form as when successful here last week he might be able to defy the handicapper. The return to 7f looks ideal for Bossy Parker who is second choice ahead of last month's Wolverhampton classified winner Evoluir.

Off an attractive mark returned to his ideal distance, BOSSY PARKER gets the vote. King Of York is second choice.

IGNAC LAMAR showed a likeable attitude when coming from last to first to score snugly over C&D last month and he looks to have gotten away lightly with just a 1lb rise. Lion's Dream was too keen for his own good when third over this track and trip last time out and, provided he settles better this time around, appears well capable of making his presence felt. Mickey Mongoose was in winning form here on his penultimate start and he could go well off a 5lb higher mark.

SAM'S HOPE was better than the result at Wolverhampton last time and is well handicapped if recent wind surgery has had a positive effect. Recent C&D scorer Ignac Lamar is feared most ahead of Lion's Dream and Mickey Mongoose.

Lion's Dream is respected but IGNAC LAMAR has a fine strike-rate in course handicaps and can follow up his recent win here.

VIXEY caught the eye when staying on into third over track and trip last time out and, in what looks a trappy affair on paper, she gets the tentative nod to go two places better off an unchanged mark. Dash Power arrives on the back of a couple of runner-up efforts and could emerge as the main danger to the selection. Fircombe Hall is also considered.

The most solid proposition is DASH POWER, who continued the good work he's been doing for Lawrence Mullaney since the turn of the year when hitting the crossbar on debut for this yard at Chelmsford last weekend. Pembrokeshire is 0-12 on the all-weather but he's lurking on an attractive mark and, along with Fircombe Hall and Vixey, he's a live each-way candidate.

The vote goes to VIXEY, who went close off a reduced mark over C&D last time and is a big player if she can back that up.

Runner-up over 5f here in a contest that has worked out very well since, BACKSPIN since ran with credit when upped in trip at Lingfield in January. The son of Hello Youmzain could now be well treated off a mark of 72 on his handicap debut and he may have too much for Massimo Blue, who got off the mark with a comfortable success at Kempton last time out. The relatively consistent Horus is another to consider.

Stepping back up to 6f in what promises to be a strongly-run race could be an ideal scenario for EARLY RELEASE, who was doing his best work at the finish when third off this mark in a 5f Lingfield handicap recently. Massimo Blue did the job well when opening his account at Kempton and he is greatly respected, while Spiritualism bagged a nursery when last seen in October and she is also shortlisted. Horus is worth a second look, too.

This looks hot for the grade. NAD ALSHIBA RAIN can build on her promising stable debut. Early Release heads a long list of dangers.

BACK TOMORROW returned to form with a promising third over this distance at his beloved Wolverhampton last time out, and this apprentice handicap could be just what is needed to see him land a fourth success this year. Dropping back to 6f looks like a good move for Ustath, having led for most of the way before being worn down over further at Wolverhampton most recently. Mr Stanley and Tantomile cannot be ruled out either.

All things considered, TANTOMILE can be forgiven for her latest defeat at Wolverhampton and she will have every chance if responding favourably to the new headgear. Back Tomorrow has been in fine fettle since the turn of the year and he looks sure to be involved in the finish once again, while Ustath is another with decent credentials.

Back Tomorrow isn't handicapped out of things but the addition of a hood could spark extra from the free-going TANTOMILE.
Ths is the racecard key.
