A runner-up over these fences a fortnight ago, Harel Du Marais is holding his form well and has solid claims once again. However, DELPOTRO has eased in the weights and made every yard when returning the emphatic winner at Sedgefield. He offers the prospect of further improvement and Charlie Longsdon's five-year-old is taken to defy a 7lb rise. Beny Nahar Road is preferred to Jaitroplaclasse of the remainder.

The suggestion is JAITROPLACLASSE, who probably faced an impossible task when second to a heavily backed rival at Bangor last month.

BECTIVE ABBEY was having his first outing after wind surgery when successful in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las. Nicky Henderson wastes no time in sending his unexposed charge over the larger obstacles and the seven-year-old can defy a 5lb rise in this lower grade. Do No Wrong returned the ready winner of this contest last year. He's a strong contender with Brian Hughes on board, while Jimmy The Digger is preferred of the other two.

Last year's winner DO NO WRONG returned from a layoff with a good point win last month and is taken to follow up.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A bumper winner between the flags, LADIES DAY finished a respectable third under rules at Warwick last month. The daughter of Yeats will be a lot wiser for that experience and Jack Andrews' 3lb allowance further helps her cause. Plumpton fourth Hard Market is a likely improver fitted with a tongue-strap for the first time, while Georgie's Malt showed some promise at Hexham without threatening the winner and could shape well.

The vote goes to GEORGIE'S MALT, who wasn't beaten far at Hexham last month and is probably in a slightly weaker race here.
Class & Speed Card

ZUCAYAN appeared to have a bit in hand when winning over 2m at Ludlow a few weeks ago and the eight-year-old merits plenty of respect off just 5lb higher here. Zenato is a stablemate of the selection and won a maiden hurdle at Fakenham last month. With the promise of more to come, he edges out Wasthatok to be best of the rest.

Zucayan was too good for WASTHATOK (nap) at Ludlow last month but this change of venue ought to suit the latter better.

DON VIRGINIA arrives here on the back of two seconds in similar contests at Hereford in recent months and it would be no surprise to see him go one better in this company. That said, Maggies Boy has also been running well in defeat of late and should not be underestimated. Others to note are Built By Rossies, Delgany Bobby Blue and Tchoupinminzac.

The pick is BUILT BY ROSSIES, who won a British point on her latest outing and has a good chance here if judged on Irish hurdle form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

In a moderate event the clear pick is AAZZA, who won twice before filling second place at Bangor last time. The in-form mare has another 3lb rise to contend with here, but the nine-year-old should be capable of defying that in this company. Zarhanya remains unexposed and may benefit from this step up in trip, while Rubies Or Gold and Champetre complete the shortlist.

Topweight AAZZA has been back in prime form this spring and is taken to record her third win of the year.
Ths is the racecard key.
