SPECIAL DIVIDEND attracted strong market support at Wolverhampton on debut, and the son of Ardad duly obliged. He beat only three rivals, but did so in impressive fashion and could prove hard to beat here, despite his penalty. Midnight Rodeo looks a likely improver, having made his debut in a tougher contest at Haydock, while the newcomer Quantum Power represents last year's winning yard and is worth a second glance in the betting.

Special Dividend is the one to beat but both Siouxpersonic and YES WALIIM appeal as likely big improvers.

KEY OF MAGIC is likely to prove popular having made a promising introduction at Sandown earlier this month. The son of Justify could only manage third, but the runner-up has subsequently franked that form, and Charlie Appleby's colt can open his account in this lesser company. May Angel ought to be competitive with last month's Newmarket debut under his belt, while market support for newcomer Tierra Del Toro would be noteworthy.

Key Of Magic sets a high bar but Ghost Division and TIERRA DEL TORO are newcomers who make considerable paper appeal.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The application of a tongue-tie (retained) appeared to bring about some improvement from SHAWS PHOENIX at Yarmouth last time. She finished a respectable third on that occasion and a 1lb ease in the handicap will do her chances no harm today. Linear Spirit has scope to progress upped in trip on only her second start in a handicap, while Eden Storm drops in grade and is on a competitive mark.

Timeless Spirit is a leading contender but TIEMPO ALEGRE returns to the scene of her win with her stable going well.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BOLD SUITOR has been in excellent form for some time now, but Craig Benton's charge has been able to cash in recently. A facile winner at Wolverhampton before recording another comfortable success at Kempton next time, he does not look overburdened by a further 6lb rise and is taken to complete his hat-trick. A three-time C&D winner, Chola Empire merits respect, while Silver Trumpet could prove best of the remainder.

A trappy event in which NOODLE MISSION is taken to exploit the drop in grade. Lessay may give him most to think about.

Several possibles but two-time C&D winner DAYTONA LADY may be primed to capitalise on her reduced mark.

11th (4) (10/1 +29%)Sydney Seabreeze |
10/1(+29%) | (4) Sydney Seabreeze 10/1, Down the field in a handicap at Lingfield most recent; in good form prior; suited by tapeta; visor first time; contender Made it 0-11 when well beaten on turf last month but some good AW form this year. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having ended her last campaign with a respectable third over 1m4f here in April, RUBELLITE makes plenty of appeal on her stable bow. Richard Fahey's mare should relish a return to this trip and a sixth career victory may beckon. Sydney Seabreeze struggled on turf last time but reverting to the Tapeta surface should see him in a better light. The four-year-old is feared most, ahead of Destinado.

There's a firm suspicion HATYSA will be capable of much better than she's shown so far and this 3yo is taken to get off the mark

8th (6) (66/1 -164%)Coulsea |
66/1(-164%) | (6) Coulsea 66/1, Appeared not to stay down the field in a handicap over 10f at Ayr most recent; significant jockey booking; up in trip; bit to find Has shown some ability but tailed off at 50-1 on handicap debut at Ayr three weeks ago. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FROSTMAGIC didn't enjoy the clearest of runs when finishing a close-up third at Leicester last time out and compensation could be on the cards. The son of Frosted should appreciate the extra furlong he encounters today and is preferred to recent Haydock fourth Everyoneknowsadave. Jessica Macey's gelding steps up in trip and he could improve, while the same applies to Charlie Johnston's Liberty Bird.

Topweight FROSTMAGIC (nap) has been running well since May and can add to last month's course win. Romantic Spirit is feared most.
Ths is the racecard key.
