Now that the penny has dropped for JUST TEN HIGH after a taking success on handicap debut at Chelmsford last month, Dylan Cunha's charge could go from strength to strength, with a 3lb rise looking a touch lenient. Narrowly denied over 6f here on his penultimate outing, Glory Call is a key player, along with Oriental Spirit, who ran with some credit at Kempton last week.

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and Dylan Cunha's lightly-raced JUST TEN HIGH is taken to make light of a 3 lb rise for his breakthrough Chelmsford victory. Oriental Spirit is next on the list on the back of his solid Kempton sixth, with True Blue Gent in the picture too.

There may still be more to come from JUST TEN HIGH following his successful handicap/AW debut at Chelmsford three weeks ago.

MANDANA took well to the all-weather when second on her most recent start at Chelmsford and this appeals as an ideal opportunity to get off the mark. A disappointment when favourite over 1m at Haydock last time out, Shining River is better judged on her penultimate effort when narrowly behind the selection at Haydock in August. Hock Eye The Noo and Miss Hathaway are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

MANDANA possesses the best form on offer so is taken to go one better than her good Chelmsford City second last time out and get off the mark. Miss Hathaway also has the form to play a part and is rated next best ahead of newcomer Velvet Whisper and Kempton debut seventh Bear Facts.

There should be little between MANDANA and Shining River on their meeting in August, with the former taken to confrm the placings.

Hampered inside the final furlong when a promising third at Lingfield on debut, RHYME DUST is likely to come on plenty for that experience and she looks capable of breaking the maiden with Tom Marquand taking over in the saddle. Cosi Bear didn't show much first time out at Leicester but better can be expected here, while the same could be said of Stylish Affair, who got going late in the piece when seventh at Yarmouth.

Tom Ward's filly RHYME DUST shaped well on her debut when third at Lingfield and with a fair bit of improvement on the cards she looks the way to go here. Yarmouth debut seventh Stylish Affair also has better days ahead of her and is next on the list with debutantes Pink Azalea and Eva Dickson also worthy of respect, especially if the market vibes are positive.

This looks a good opportunity for RHYME DUST who sets a fair standard on her close third on last month's Lingfield debut.

Alfa Whiteburd and Eldeyaar, along with the much-improved Lion Ring, are strong contenders despite creeping up in the ratings for their most recent successes. Whereas, Oso Rapido enters calculations from 16lb below his last win. However, it is BELLAGIO MAN who captures the imagination most. A C&D winner off 15lb higher in February 2023, the selection is hard to ignore in a wide-open race.

A competitive handicap but it's hard to side against INDIVAR who still looks ahead of his mark under a 6 lb penalty for his impressive recent Newcastle success. Kempton scorer Liosa heads the list of dangers, although a solid case can also be made for Eldeyaar, My Awele and Alfa Whiteburd.

Six last-time-out winners and it could be that INDIVAR is the best handicapped. My Awele and Bibendum look best of the rest.

Just a head separated TRIDENT (second) and Jodhpur Blue (third) at Newcastle last month. The former wasn't done any favours by the draw on that occasion and, open to more progression on just his second start, he can cement his authority. The rest with experience appear a modest bunch and with that in mind, Kisdon Force, a 60,000gns purchase as a yearling, strikes as the most compelling of the newcomers.

It's hard to look beyond TRIDENT, who was a promising second on his introduction at Newcastle and that experience will not be wasted on him. Jodhpur Blue was a decent third at the same course last month and is the clear pick for forecast purposes ahead of Wide Margin.

This is between old rivals TRIDENT and Jodhpur Blue. A head separated them at Newcastle last month, but the form can be confirmed.

The recent Newcastle winner Mon Etoile is a player, but it's also worth remembering that it took her 16 attempts to get off the mark. Therefore, dual C&D winner THE PUG is preferred from 4lb below the most recent of those successes. Having hinted at a revival of late, the selection has less to prove than most. Kalikapour and lightly-weighted three-year-old Lady Of Time complete the shortlist.

MON ETOILE deservedly opened her account at Newcastle last month and she looks more than capable of defying this 4 lb higher mark. Next on the list is Kalikapour, who has returned to form with solid placed efforts at Thirsk and Pontefract the last twice, and he should have a part to play. Oscar Doodle and The Pug are others with claims.

Mon Etoile holds good claims but preference is for THE PUG (nap) whose record over C&D reads 112.

LETMEBETHEBOSS appeared to relish the step up in trip when fairly bolting up over 1m5f at Bath last week and, having escaped a penalty for winning an apprentice handicap, he looks the one to side with. Blenheim Lad did it well when scoring over C&D last month and he must enter calculations off 3lb higher, while better can be expected from Mimasusa now she sports blinkers for the first time.

LETMEBETHEBOSS raised his game when getting off the mark at Bath last week and, with no penalty to carry, he is confidently expected to strike again. Next on the list is Catrake Force, who performed with credit when finishing in the money at Musselburgh recently. A 3 lb rise for Blenheim Lad's C&D success a fortnight ago doesn't look excessive and he is third choice.

An interesting race in which recent C&D winner BLENHEIM LAD gets the vote ahead of last week's Bath winner Letmebetheboss.

GALACTIC CHARM caught the eye when staying on strongly to finish third over this trip at Yarmouth last month and that form has since been franked by the runner-up. Off an unchanged mark, he gets the vote to return to winning ways. The class-dropping Cool Party was in winning form over C&D on his penultimate start and is the main danger. Knights Affair wasn't disgraced in a competitive handicap at Musselburgh latest and needs to be taken seriously too.

COOL PARTY was successful back from a break over C&D in April and, having shaped well when fourth back from an absence when fourth at Ayr recently, he is the most appealing option. Glactic Charm arrives on the back of a solid third at Yarmouth and is feared along with Across Earth, who can bounce back returned to calmer waters.

The vote goes to COOL PARTY who made all over C&D in April. He may again prove hard to catch if left alone in front.

Paddy's Day was narrowly denied over 5f at Beverley last month and a 1lb rise for that shouldn't prevent another bold bid. That said, JUNGLE RUN is narrowly preferred. Tom Clover's charge completed a hat-trick in fine style over C&D recently and gets the nod to defy a 7lb rise. Maris Angel was thwarted in her bid for a three-timer at Redcar latest, but cannot be overlooked.

It can pay to side with PADDY'S DAY, who went close at Beverley last month and a 1 lb nudge for that is fair enough. Jungle Run completed the hat-trick in pretty good style over C&D a fortnight ago and he is feared most ahead of Sugar Hill Babe and Miss Brazen.

A competitive sprint but PADDY'S DAY has been threatening all season and this could be his day. Match Play is next best.
Ths is the racecard key.
