SCARBOROUGHWARNING, on target in a novice event at Catterick last month, followed up in emphatic fashion at Wolverhampton on Friday. The unexposed daughter of Harry Angel appears certain to have more in the locker and she can defy the 6lb penalty to complete her hat-trick. Secret Road was able to exploit a sliding handicap mark over C&D recently and still looks competitively treated nudged up 4lb. Liosa, a consistent type on the all-weather, is unlikely to be far away.

SCARBOROUGHWARNING is on a roll now and can get the hat-trick up under a penalty for Friday's Wolverhampton romp. Liosa and Back Before Dark are feared most.

There was plenty to like about the way SCARBOROUGHWARNING won on Friday and she's preferred to Secret Road, who likes it here.

This looks a fine opportunity for DARK LYRIC as she bids to record a first career success. Sean Woods' filly has displayed a consistent level of form across her three starts and is a safer option than Jumeirah Sea, who has shown clear ability but continues to pull her chance away. Invincible Spirit filly Zepparella is related to a handful of smart types and market support would be noteworthy.

JUMEIRAH SEA and Dark Lyric set a fair standard and may have this between them, with Jumeirah Sea taken to open her account having chased home a couple of above-average geldings at Chelmsford last time. Market support for the well-bred Zepparella would have to be taken seriously.

Zepparella is an interesting newcomer but otherwise DARK LYRIC, who's a sister to a Tapeta winner, sets the standard.

TEXAS STARLIGHT chased home a potentially useful type who had the benefit of previous experience on her debut at Newmarket. George Boughey's filly will have learned plenty from that and natural improvement might be enough to see her go one place better. Rock Diva shaped with promise at Wolverhampton on her racecourse bow and is one of the likelier candidates. Newcomer Al Joory, a half-sister to the talented Shaara, needs monitoring in the betting.

TEXAS STARLIGHT shaped well on her debut when runner-up at Newmarket and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to go one better here. Roger Varian's newcomer Al Joory appeals on paper and is feared most, especially if the betting vibes are positive, with Rock Diva and Chadleeny appealing as the pick of the remainder for minor honours.

Al Joory is an interesting newcomer but TEXAS STARLIGHT has the benefit of a previous run and sets a decent standard.

LADY ROXBY justified strong market support on her nursery bow at Musselburgh and the handicapper didn't miss that effort, with an 11lb rise given to Bryan Smart's filly. However, it wouldn't be a major surprise if she had more to offer based on the manner of that success. Commander Atkinson also stepped forward on his first start in handicap company when runner-up at Catterick and he is expected to play a leading role along with Force And Valour, who finished third at Yarmouth last month.

LADY ROXBY has been hit with an 11 lb rise for her nursery debut success at Musselburgh (5f) 44 days ago, yet she was most impressive on that occasion and may well be up to defying the assessor with the prospect of more to come. Force And Valour, Al Hussar and Commander Atkinson are others fancied to feature.

Richard Hughes is 14-40 with 2yos on the AW this season and POUTING can further enhance the numbers. Force And Valour is next best.

RECON MISSION can be forgiven his most recent display at Brighton, with the eight-year-old better judged on his nose defeat the time before at Lingfield off this mark. Jack Doughty's 5lb claim further aids his cause and he gets the vote in a contest that appears to be very winnable on paper. Toptime returns from a small break and is capable of being in the mix, while Three Beauz is of interest after wind surgery.

DARLO PRIDE hasn't been with Michael Dods long and having been unlucky not to finish closer here 11 days ago, he looks an interesting proposition back over 5f. Recon Mission and Toptime are a couple of threats.

Whiskey Priest is on a fair mark in first-time blinkers, but DARLO PRIDE (nap) makes most appeal having hit traffic here last time.

ADVERT RULES was no match for a comfortable winner over C&D on his latest start, but this may be the time to catch Alan King's gelding. Blinkers were tried for the first time on that occasion and a more patient ride may see him reap the rewards. Delta Legend has gone close in recent outings and is respected along with Spantik, who returns to the all-weather for the first time in over two years.

ADVERT RULES was no match for the well-punted winner at Wolverhampton last week but he beat the rest easily enough and went through the race like a well-handicapped sort. He therefore looks the answer, with Wannabeawallaby and Delta Legend perhaps offering most resistance.

After using plenty of fuel in the early stages at Wolverhampton this month, ADVERT RULES did very well to hold on for second.

BELCAMO has scope to progress over this sort of trip and, having won a deeper race over 1m4f at Goodwood when last seen, this upwardly-mobile three-year-old is fancied to brush aside just a 3lb rise on his debut for a new yard. Beat The Clock and Kokinelli are other strong contenders to consider, while Reyaadah Star is interesting back on a synthetic surface and support for her in the betting would be noteworthy.

REYAADAH STAR was knocking on the door prior to a slightly below-par display at Ayr earlier this month and she is taken to bounce back with a deserved success here. Next on the list is Kokinelli, who looks sure to pick up a race sooner rather than later judged on her improved third in a 13-runner Kempton handicap. Versatile also merits respect, while Belcamo is not discounted on debut for new connections,

The best may be yet to come from BEAT THE CLOCK, whose latest third has been well advertised since. Kokinelli is second choice.

The reliable Kondratiev Wave and Dr Rio appeal based on recent efforts, with the former having the better record of the two on the all-weather and he may hold sway in that personal battle. However, cases can be made for several of the others when peak performances are factored into the equation. With that in mind, C&D scorer BUSHFIRE could take advantage of being 9lb below that last winning mark with first-time cheekpieces added. Adelabella and King Of York also warrant betting checks.

A chance is taken on ENZOS ANGEL, who was in good form at Wolverhampton earlier this year and, though below par on his last three starts, perhaps the summer break was needed. Mercurius Power is just 2 lb higher than for his C&D success in August and he looks dangerous, while Kondratiev Wave has been in good form in recent months and looks set for another prominent role. Bushfire could also have a part to play if responding well to the new headgear.

Bushfire is considered but preference is for the equally well-treated KING OF YORK, whose 7f win here in March came off 9lb higher.
Ths is the racecard key.
