14:27 Stratford (Class 3) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A small field may see this turn tactical and that would potentially play into the hands of BALLINTUBBER BOY. With a Stratford record of two from two over hurdles, he has raced three times over fences, making the running in two of them. He could dictate terms to suit himself and see off Irish challenger Topgun Simmy, whose better form is over further than this. The Gypsy Davey races from 4lb out of the handicap and appears to have it all to do.

Useful 6yo TOPGUN SIMMY may still have untapped potential over fences and could have too much class for his two rivals here.

14:57 Stratford (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KNIGHTS AFFAIR has run well over hurdles so far, with a win at Huntingdon and seconds at Newton Abbot and Worcester, and the step back up in trip on a sharp track is unlikely to be an inconvenience. Isle Of Sark is capable of bouncing back from his latest effort at Market Rasen, while Don Virginia's recent form entitles him to be on the shortlist.

Don Virginia is respected but KNIGHTS AFFAIR made a solid start to his hurdling career in the spring and gets the vote.

15:27 Stratford (Class 5) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Cinderello showed improved form to win, albeit narrowly, on her handicap debut, although she will need to go on from that off 4lb higher here. Barely Famous was second that day and meets the winner on 1lb better terms. She has consistency on her side, but so does HURST HILL. Seamus Mullins' mare gets on well with jockey Daniel Sansom, with a victory at Newton Abbot and a second here last month, and she may be the better suited to this trip.

There are some risks attached to LYNESS DANCER but she has strong claims if judged on her winning performance in May.

15:57 Stratford (Class 2) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A dual Listed winner over fences, ARCLIGHT relished her return to the larger obstacles when scoring over 2m1f here and an extra two furlongs should not inconvenience her as she attempts to follow up off 6lb higher. In The Air got off the mark in this sphere with a determined success at Uttoxeter and he is expected to be thereabouts, as is Jaramillo, who has strong claims on his success at Newton Abbot back in April.

In a tricky race to solve the suggestion is NO RISK WITH LOU, who held every chance before falling in his latest chase.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Raised 6lb for his success at Uttoxeter, DIESEL LINE has improved since joining new connections and he looks more than capable of landing the double. Ez Tiger (fourth) has almost 10 lengths to make up with him from that contest, but he was a decisive winner at Worcester before that. Returning to hurdles for the first time since last August, Ocean Heights could be well treated and may have a say.

The pick is DIESEL LINE, who has done very well for his new stable this summer and can follow up last month's ready Uttoxeter win.

A winner of three of her last five starts, including in point-to-points, MY GIRL KATIE promises to be suited by going up to this distance, especially when taking into account her strong finish for second over 3m2f at Newton Abbot last month. Another who looks set to relish the trip is Eightytwo Team, who has been raised 4lb for a surprise success at Uttoxeter. Summerleaze is capable of getting involved if bouncing back to her best.

Her chasing debut didn't really go to plan but another chance is readily given to SUMMERLEAZE (nap), a dual course hurdle winner.

17:35 Stratford (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It is difficult to look past WAY MAKER, who could not have done it any easier on debut at Bangor last month, a victory for which he has a 7lb penalty to carry. A Frontiersman half-brother to a winning hurdler, Chicker could be a potent force on his introduction for a stable that knows how to ready one. Similar comments may apply to Creeping Tom, who will be worth a market check.

He has a penalty this time but WAY MAKER created a good impression on his debut at Bangor in July and ought to be hard to beat.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
