12:50 Taunton (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BELLATOR BULLET seemed to appreciate stepping up in trip on the Flat, winning twice over 1m6f, and it would be no surprise if Dan Skelton's gelding made a winning start in this sphere. Golden Garden boasts a similar profile to the selection and has to be respected along with Innamorato, who placed on his last outing in France. Others to note are Madame De Labrunie and Bouquet De Paris.

Paul Nicholls' new recruit INNAMORATO began his hurdling career with two very promising runs in France last summer and gets the vote.

13:20 Taunton (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Knock Off Soxs won here earlier in the month and is likely to enter calculations stepping up in distance. However, the vote goes to LE BEAU MADRIK, who built on a couple of bumper efforts to get off the mark at Newcastle on hurdling debut. That performance sets a decent standard and the four-year-old has an excellent opportunity to make it back-to-back victories. Religous Cross shaped with promise in a bumper here last month and is expected to be in the mix.

The strongest claims belong to LE BEAU MADRIK, although fellow winner Knock Off Soxs also showed clear promise for this longer trip.

13:50 Taunton (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FAT FACED COLUMBO took a decent step forward when just denied on his chasing debut at Exeter last month and a 6lb rise doesn't appear likely to stop the five-year-old from going one better. Bertie Wooster has placed on his last couple of starts and is capable of another decent showing, while others to note include Ballyfinn and Hello Cello.

The 5yo FAT FACED COLUMBO went down only narrowly on his chasing debut and can go one better here. Dyno Dave is the main danger.

14:20 Taunton (Class 1) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

After two convincing wins over hurdles in France, AL FONCE is the most intriguing option. A half-sister to dual Gold Cup winner, Al Boum Photo, there is stacks of potential within her pedigree and success here would mark her down as one to follow closely as this season progresses. The unbeaten Lady Tadita commands respect after brushing aside a penalty in a novices' event at Huntingdon last month, while Anariza's Wetherby success has been boosted and she could also have a big say. October Hill and Miss Carbo are others of interest.

This can go to LADY TADITA, who has impressed on both hurdle starts and is evidently well suited by going right-handed on good ground.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MASK OF ZORRO needs to iron out a few creases in his jumping but his attitude is spot on and that may be enough to see him cope with a 6lb rise for the latest of his two successes at Fontwell. Lelantos came good with cheekpieces reapplied at Huntingdon last month. He could be the biggest danger to the selection if the retained headgear inspires another determined effort. Bitsnbuckles and Square Du Roule appear best of the remainder.

Bottomweight Square Du Roule is not passed over at all lightly but may still fall prey to the hat-trick seeking MASK OF ZORRO.

15:23 Taunton (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A first-time visor eked out the improvement needed to see Jukebox D'eddy go in by half a length at Market Rasen and he boasts obvious claims under Sean Bowen. However, WEST ORCHARD made a pleasing return to action when second over hurdles at Wincanton earlier this month and with all four of his career victories coming over fences, he looks the one to side with. Gingerbred is another to keep an eye on.

It's not hard to see five of these in serious contention but the ones to concentrate on may be GINGERBRED and West Orchard.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Zaochen Enki hung right-handed when something seemed to be amiss when only fourth at Fontwell last month, but the four-year-old is in masterful hands and it wouldn't be a shock to see an improved performance. Even so, it's hard to ignore the claims of INFERNO SACREE after only finding an odds-on shot too good over 2m at Plumpton on his most recent start. As long as Nigel Hawke's inmate is as effective over this longer trip, he could be the one to beat. Green Sky is another to note.

There is more to come from BORDER GEM (nap), who was hampered on her handicap debut and will be suited by this return to good ground.
