14:10 Thirsk (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SANBONA finished a respectable third in a class 6 handicap at Ayr last month and drops to this level for the first time. If Michael Dods' charge can back that performance up, he could prove hard to beat. My Boy Jack hasn't finished outside of the top three in each of his last five starts and is likely to be on the premises. Golden Prosperity completes the shortlist.

This typically knotty classified can see CROCUS TIME make her breakthrough. My Boy Jack is likely to be in the thick of it again.

14:40 Thirsk (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DANEH OF DANDY made a strong impression on her debut at Ripon prior to being well beaten in a Group 3 at Ascot last time, and she sets a fair standard with an official rating of 84. Fille Unique showed ability when fourth on her introduction at Beverley last month and could have lots more to offer, while Angela's Baar is another to keep an eye on.

Angela's Baar can be forgiven her last run but DANEH OF DANDY sets a good standard and is hard to get away from.

15:10 Thirsk (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Lexington Express finished a close third on her nursery bow at Chepstow last month and has to be respected off the same mark. However, PREMINISION wasn't disgraced in fourth over 6f here last time and this step up in trip looks a good move. She could have more to come and can capitalise on a 2lb lower rating. London isn't ruled out either.

The majority have something to recommend them, notably LONDON who can build on a respectable C&D stable debut now she enters nurseries.

15:40 Thirsk (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With two wins from his last three starts, the latest of those coming at Doncaster, KING'S CROWN could be the answer once more. Michael Dods' charge was only raised 3lb for that Town Moor triumph and there is no obvious reason he shouldn't go close. Parisiac struggled at Hamilton three weeks ago but he must be of interest now dropped in class. Others to note include Glory Fighter and Miss Brazen.

King's Crown looks set to go well but this is a drop in class for SOUTH PARADE and she can exploit her dangerous mark.

16:13 Thirsk (Class 3) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Although no match for an impressive winner in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock last time out, it was still a fine effort in defeat from PADDY THE SQUIRE. The son of Golden Horn has much less on his plate here and compensation could await despite having a 2lb higher mark to contend with. Melek Alreeh went agonisingly close at Newbury last time and he merits plenty of respect, as does the lightly-raced Ribble Vibe, for all that there is a suspicion slower ground would be more suitable for him.

There could be a gallop on and MELEK ALREEH won't mind that. A little unlucky when beaten a head last time, he can gain compensation.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SOLE SPIRIT was given some time off having been pulled up at Southwell in December and that appeared to work the oracle, as he came home best of all to record a narrow success at Doncaster in June. A subsequent 3lb rise looks fair and with conditions to suit, Bryan Smart's gelding could go in again. Uncle Sam struck the crossbar on his return to action on Saturday and makes significant appeal on the back of that display, while Get Up Everybody is also noted.

Uncle Sam ran well here on his recent stable debut but the unexposed SOLE SPIRIT (nap) can make it 2-2 in handicaps this season.
