1st (4) (6/5 +26%)Just Golden |
6/5(+26%) | (4) Just Golden 6/5, Ran to form when second, beaten a neck, in a maiden hurdle at Cheltenham last time. A tongue-tie is applied for the first time, and there is more to come over hurdles, with improvement expected over further but the one to beat down in class. Smart form in defeat over hurdles; should win this en route to something a lot better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (11/1 +8%)Chasing Glance |
11/1(+8%) | (2) Chasing Glance 11/1, Made a promising debut when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle here last time, which was his first run following a wind operation. That form couldn't be working out much better. Second run after that procedure, off a short break, and his point-winning background suggests improvement. His fifth here wasn't a bad run given his absence but likely best watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (3/1 +25%)Piping Rock |
3/1(+25%) | (9) Piping Rock 3/1, Ran to form when finishing an 11l third in a novice hurdle at Wincanton last time. That was a solid effort, he returns off a short break, and the recent run has been franked. May need a tad more if he's to thwart Just Golden but he's probably that one's main threat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (17/2 -55%)Limerick Star |
17/2(-55%) | (6) Limerick Star 17/2, Made a promising debut when finishing a 12l third in a maiden hurdle at Exeter last time. That form has been franked since, and a longer trip could suit based on that initial effort. Back from an absence when third behind two good horses at Exeter; can improve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) (10/1 +17%)Vanderflier |
10/1(+17%) | (10) Vanderflier 10/1, Showed improvement when winning a maiden point by 2l at Belharbour last time. A point winner who is returning from a long layoff, and is worth monitoring on his hurdle debut. Bought for £155,000 after winning an Irish point by 2l about this time last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (400/1 -167%)Blazing Gaden |
400/1(-167%) | (1) Blazing Gaden 400/1, Outpaced and well held down the field in a maiden hurdle at Lingfield last time. That was a poor effort overall and he will need to show major improvement to feature more prominently here. Pulled up and tailed off in his two maidens on soft ground; huge odds both times. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (6/1 +33%)Mr Finch |
6/1(+33%) | (8) Mr Finch 6/1, Was keen but ran well for a long way on hurdle debut when fourth, beaten 7l, in a novice hurdle at Fontwell last time. The trainer is in form and he should improve with that experience. Second in a point; given every chance when fourth over 2m3f at Fontwell. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JUST GOLDEN has had a few chances now and has been beaten at cramped odds, but might be worth one last throw of the dice. Dan Skelton reaches for a first-time tongue-tie and in the main his performance at Cheltenham last time when beaten a neck into second by Step Ahead was really encouraging. Piping Rock is the main danger judged on his Windsor second two starts ago, while Limerick Star is another to note.

There's no great temptation to see beyond JUST GOLDEN who only narrowly missed out when short odds for a Cheltenham maiden last time.

1st (2) (5/4 +69%)Hollygrove Cha Cha |
5/4(+69%) | (2) Hollygrove Cha Cha 5/4, Jumped abysmally but did well to finish this close when comfortably held in a handicap chase at Windsor last time, seeing out the longer trip. Had been in good form beforehand and is effective between 2m1f and 2m4f, hasn't really taken to chasing but a Grade 2 winner in this sphere. Brings in some of the strongest form and looks a major player on favourable soft ground. Chasing this season; held by Jubilee Alpha on last season's clashes with that mare. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (7/5 +0%)Jubilee Alpha |
7/5(+0%) | (3) Jubilee Alpha 7/5, Travelled well but was out-battled and outstayed late up the hill when second, beaten 2 1/4l, in the Unibet Mares' Hurdle (Listed) at Sandown last time. Effective over 2m to 2 1/2m and a consistent performer who just about sets the standard but wouldn't want the ground too testing. Did well as a novice and in this season's three defeats she's posted her best RPRs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (9/2 +0%)La Pinsonniere |
9/2(+0%) | (5) La Pinsonniere 9/2, Trainer has won two of the last five runnings of this race and she ran to form when second, beaten 2l, in a Mares' Novices' Hurdle (Listed) at Cheltenham last time. Effective over 2m to 2 1/2m and progressed for this yard last year. Closely matched with Jubilee Alpha on form but absence to overcome. Absent since April when beaten by Jubilee Alpha; 3lb worse off with that rival here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (14/1 -100%)Flying Fortune |
14/1(-100%) | (1) Flying Fortune 14/1, Won the Persian War Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2) at Chepstow by 7 1/2l last time. Effective at around 2 1/2m and had been progressive prior to a long lay-off, though probably would not want ground too testing. A mare on a mission when last seen in the autumn of 2024, completing a four-timer. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

JUBILEE ALPHA looked all over the winner approaching the last in a similar race at Sandown latest but a resurgent Nurse Susan got the better of her again. Dan Skelton's charge isn't in opposition this time and she can gain a deserved success ahead of La Pinsonniere and Flying Fortune, who are expected to go well but do have absences to overcome. Hollygrove Cha Cha is a lot better than her Windsor showing and is noted back over timber.

It's difficult to get away from JUBILEE ALPHA who has yet to win this season but has been running well.

1st (1) (10/11 +17%)Steel Ally |
10/11(+17%) | (1) Steel Ally 10/11, Travelled well and jumped boldly when winning the Noel Novices' Chase (Grade 2) at Ascot by 9l last time, doing it cosily. That form has been franked at the same level. Enjoys making it, is effective at 2m, comes here off a short break and looks a classy chaser so can defy penalty. Impressed in 2m3f Ascot Grade 2 in December and is now 2-2 over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (7/1 +13%)Mirabad |
7/1(+13%) | (3) Mirabad 7/1, Yard won this race last year. Unseated in a handicap chase at Windsor latest, but had been in fine form for his new yard beforehand and is effective at 2m. Could get an easy lead but probably vulnerable in this grade. Won on chasing debut but behind Mambonumberfive on next outing; improvement needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (11/8 -15%)Mambonumberfive |
11/8(-15%) | (2) Mambonumberfive 11/8, Travelled strongly and did it cosily when winning the Wayward Lad Novices' Chase (Grade 2) at Kempton by 7l last time, improving again. Trainer is in form, is effective at 2m, does not do much in front and is worth a further step up in grade. Big chance if handling the softer surface. Made stylish headway from the rear before winning Kempton Grade 2 over Christmas. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Just the three declared for this Grade 2 novices' chase but it's still competitive stuff, with slight preference for MAMBONUMBERFIVE, who gets 2lb from the hat-trick seeking Steel Ally. Ben Pauling's charge completed his three-timer in really good style at Kempton over Christmas and has improved no end this season for going over a fence. Steel Ally was impressive at Ascot and will keep the selection honest, while also winning the race for second ahead of Exeter winner Mirabad.

Mambonumberfive is respected but Ascot winner STEEL ALLY arguably has stronger form and is given the vote.

1st (5) (7/2 +36%)Guard Your Dreams |
7/2(+36%) | (5) Guard Your Dreams 7/2, Finished second when beaten 4 1/4l in a handicap chase at Uttoxeter last time, returning from a long lay-off. Effective at 3m and acts with cut. A former Grade 2 winner who is well treated on these terms if fit for this return. Absent since good run last May but last season's C&D win came after a break; a possible. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (6/1 +33%)Fugitif |
6/1(+33%) | (3) Fugitif 6/1, Made too much use of when finishing fourth, beaten 24l, in a handicap chase at Ascot latest. Effective at around 2 1/2m and acts on soft and good ground. Not quite the force of old, though easing in the weights. Ran well for a long way in good Ascot handicap last month but remains on long losing run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (7/2 -40%)Le Milos |
7/2(-40%) | (2) Le Milos 7/2, Won this race last year and is back on his last winning mark. Returned to form when beaten 1 1/4l at Sandown last time over a longer trip. Effective at around 2 1/2m and best at 3m, though a veteran who is inconsistent nowadays but does at least handle conditions. Won this off 1lb lower a year ago and returned to form at Sandown last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (12/1 +33%)Outlaw Peter |
12/1(+33%) | (4) Outlaw Peter 12/1, May have found the ground on the soft side when well beaten in a handicap chase at Ascot last time. Effective at around 2 1/2m and acts on soft and good ground, with his best form on a sound surface. Not in the same form since a lay-off. Looked out of sorts on first two outings this season; revival needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (11/1 +31%)Lord Baddesley |
11/1(+31%) | (7) Lord Baddesley 11/1, Made too much use of and was held by less exposed rivals when comfortably beaten in a handicap chase at Newbury last time. Trainer is in form and he returns after a short break. Effective around 2 1/2m and suited by decent ground, though his mark looks high enough. Below form on latest outing (wore blinkers) and the slow ground here is a worry. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (9/2 -50%)Knappers Hill |
9/2(-50%) | (1) Knappers Hill 9/2, Ran to form when stepping up in trip and probably did not stay on ground that was softer than ideal when beaten 8 1/2l into third in the Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase at Wetherby last time. Effective around 2m4f and acts on GS and GF. May now be at level following a lay-off but the clear class edge here. On generous mark and the one to beat if coping with conditions. Smart in his prime; back from long absence with two pretty good efforts this season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (9/2 -13%)Grandeur D'ame |
9/2(-13%) | (6) Grandeur D'ame 9/2, Returned to form when dropping back in trip, finishing third and beaten 12l in the Betfair Exchange Handicap Chase at Cheltenham last time. Effective at around 2 1/2m and this easier but remains unreliable. Kept on for third in good Cheltenham handicap last month, and today's ground will suit. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

KNAPPERS HILL hasn't been able to get a fair crack at chasing, but he showed enough in the Rowland Meyrick to suggest he retains plenty of ability. Paul Nicholls' charge enters the veteran ranks for the first time and could prove too strong, though Le Milos offers a real threat having finished second at Sandown last month. Guard Your Dreams is also noted.

This looks good for last year's emphatic winner LE MILOS (nap), who returned to form with a big run at Sandown last month.

1st (7) (5/1 -82%)Kingston Queen |
5/1(-82%) | (7) Kingston Queen 5/1, Outpaced and not the speed of the winner when beaten 15l into third by Supreme fav in a novice hurdle at Cheltenham last time, having been unsuited by the drop in trip. Returning from a short break; effective at 2-2 1/2m. Highly regarded and a threat if handling the easier ground. Smart bumper performer who has made a good start to her hurdling career; good chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (9/2 +0%)White Noise |
9/2(+0%) | (9) White Noise 9/2, Did it comfortably and improved again when winning a handicap hurdle at Newbury by 5l last time, despite a 10lb rise. Effective at 2-2 1/4m; form working out very well and hugely progressive handicapper looks well worth this step up in class. Won Newbury handicap by 5l in December and is now 3-3 this season; likely contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (15/2 -7%)A Path To Ronda |
15/2(-7%) | (3) A Path To Ronda 15/2, Keen early but travelled well and ran to form when beaten 2l into third in a Listed Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Haydock last time. Effective at 2m; bumper form strong and in good form over hurdles but vulnerable in this class. Placed in Haydock Listed race in December and may still have a bigger run in her. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (13/2 +41%)Dream Shadow |
13/2(+41%) | (4) Dream Shadow 13/2, Did it readily and improved up in trip when winning a novice hurdle at Ayr by 5 1/2l last time. Effective at 2m-2m4f; debut form franked at Listed level and may get even further. Won by clear margins over C&D and at Ayr on last two starts; has more on her plate here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (7/1 +0%)Supreme Malinas |
7/1(+0%) | (2) Supreme Malinas 7/1, Travelled well and improved up in class when winning a Listed Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Haydock by a nose last time. Effective at 2-2 1/4m and looks useful; may get a bit further in time. Closely matched with Park Princess and get involved. Pipped Park Princess in Haydock Listed race in December; 5lb worse off with her here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (8/1 +60%)Easy Love |
8/1(+60%) | (5) Easy Love 8/1, Did it easily and improved down in trip under positive handling when winning a handicap hurdle at Windsor by 4 1/2l last time. Effective at 2 1/2m to 3m; highly tried in bumpers and progressive over hurdles but conditions a concern up in grade. Made all in good-ground Windsor handicap last month but needs further improvement here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (18/1 -80%)Park Princess |
18/1(-80%) | (8) Park Princess 18/1, Benefitted from a drop in class when winning a novice hurdle at Fontwell by a neck last time. Touch unlucky when runner up at Listed level previously. Effective at 2m-2m5f; progressive and likely to have more to offer. Could reverse form with Supreme Malinas. Forced to work hard at skinny odds last time; better judged on previous Listed second. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (22/1 -38%)Indannya |
22/1(-38%) | (6) Indannya 22/1, Improved from debut when winning a novice hurdle here by 1 1/2l last time. Effective at 2m5f and there is more to come but this looks too tough. 2m5f course winner in December; still unexposed but needs a big step forward today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (7/2 +36%)Good Girl Kathleen |
7/2(+36%) | (1) Good Girl Kathleen 7/2, When winning the Joe Buckley Construction Stayers Novice Hurdle (Grade 3) at Cork by 8 1/2l last time; trainer in form and returning from a short break. Effective at 2 1/2-2 3/4m; versatile ground wise; progressive and more to come at 3m but strong claims if getting stiff test down in trip. Won 3m Grade 3 hurdle comfortably in December; hard to beat if as good over this trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Supreme Malinas was all out to deny Park Princess off level weights at Haydock and that form can be reversed with a 5lb pull. Good Girl Kathleen sets the standard following her Grade 3 Cork success, but there is no telling where WHITE NOISE's ceiling lays and she gets the vote. Kim Bailey and Mat Nicholls' charge won a novice at Worcester before doubling up impressively in handicaps and this doesn't look beyond her currently. A Path To Ronda, Dream Shadow and Kingston Queen are others with chances in what looks an open heat.

She couldn't cope with a top-class novice over 2m1f last time but KINGSTON QUEEN has strong claims if judged on her 2m3f Chepstow win.

1st (3) (11/2 +0%)Cornish Storm |
11/2(+0%) | (3) Cornish Storm 11/2, Ran to his best in first-time cheekpieces when landing a handicap by a nose at Taunton, with stamina just holding out up in trip, off a 3lb lower mark. Effective at 2m, he just about stays 2m3f and is in form. Just held on to score in first-time cheekpices in December; slower ground a worry here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (1/1 +43%)Le Yacht |
1/1(+43%) | (1) Le Yacht 1/1, Scored by 1 1/4l off a 4lb lower mark at Doncaster on his penultimate start. Trainer is in form and he is effective at 2m, acts with cut, and looks progressive, with more to come when stepped up in trip. Strong claims if getting stiff test. 2-4 over hurdles; slightly disappointing on latest outing but remains of interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (7/1 0%)Homme D'un Soir |
7/1(0%) | (2) Homme D'un Soir 7/1, Made mistakes and was ridden too prominently when fourth, beaten 19l, in a handicap chase at Ludlow last time. Returns from a short break, is effective at 2m, suited by decent ground, and is generally consistent. Looks on a fair mark judged on chase form. Not at best in latest chase but reverts to hurdling on a lower mark; a possible. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (16/1 -60%)Service Minimum |
16/1(-60%) | (6) Service Minimum 16/1, Was unsuited by soft ground when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Huntingdon last time. Effective at around 2 1/2m and acts on good ground, though her current mark demands more. Gained his novice wins on good ground and was tailed off in recent soft-ground handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (7/1 +61%)Supreme Yeats |
7/1(+61%) | (7) Supreme Yeats 7/1, Went clear early and made too much use of himself when down in trip, before being comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Kempton last time. Returns from a short break, is suited by a sound surface and 3m, and is generally consistent. Trip and ground look issues here. Back from three-month break; gained all hurdle wins over 2m4f+ on good ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (22/1 -214%)Ufouria |
22/1(-214%) | (4) Ufouria 22/1, Built on her stable debut but was still below her Irish form when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Ludlow last time. Effective at 2m, she is an Irish bumper winner whose hurdles form has been franked, though her mark demands more. Irish bumper winner; yet to strike form for new stable but should be okay on the ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (11/2 -57%)Almuhit |
11/2(-57%) | (5) Almuhit 11/2, Looked in need of the run when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Newbury on his latest start. Effective between 2m and 2 1/2m and wanting decent ground, but his current mark asks for improvement and conditions a concern. Second at Punchestown festival last spring; might have needed last month's low-key run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (28/1 +0%)Get The Value |
28/1(+0%) | (8) Get The Value 28/1, Needed the run and failed to stay when up in trip, finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Newbury most recently. Effective at around 2m and wanting a sound surface, but his current mark demands more. Always behind at Newbury in December, after a layoff; wants much better ground. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Doncaster winner LE YACHT appeared stretched by 2m3f at Haydock last month and is fancied to bounce straight back over this shorter trip. The five-year-old has far less to prove than many whilst remaining open to plenty of improvement and is preferred to talented Flat performer Almuhit, who can take a step forward from his hurdling return. Veteran Supreme Yeats struggled in a Pertemps Qualifier at Kempton last time but ought to appreciate an ease in class.

Another chance is readily given to LE YACHT, who can still progress from his Doncaster win two starts ago.

1st (3) (11/2 -10%)Phantomofthepoints |
11/2(-10%) | (3) Phantomofthepoints 11/2, Had every chance and ran to form when fourth, beaten 17l, in a handicap hurdle at Haydock last time, having been unable to dominate and doing plenty early. Effective over 2m4f–2m7f and acts on good to soft. Dangerous if allowed easy lead down in trip. Fell on chase debut and worryingly below par on last month's return to hurdling. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (13/8 +28%)Fingle Bridge |
13/8(+28%) | (2) Fingle Bridge 13/8, Jumped abysmally and was outpaced when 4l third in a novice chase at Ayr on his latest run, possibly needing a stiffer test. Effective at 2m–2m4f and acts with cut. Unbeaten over hurdles and a Listed winner so respected but mark demands more. Chasing this season; novice hurdle form (3-3) reads well and could be on a good mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (5/1 +38%)Believitanducan |
5/1(+38%) | (6) Believitanducan 5/1, Won by 1 1/4l off a 4lb lower mark at Plumpton two starts ago but was keen, made mistakes and ran below form when sixth, beaten 29l, off 125 last time. Progressive prior to that. Remains on the same mark and is effective at 2m–2m4f on soft or good to soft. 3-6 as a hurdler and won't mind getting back on a slower surface; considered. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (7/1 +0%)Luttrell Lad |
7/1(+0%) | (4) Luttrell Lad 7/1, Scored by 8 1/2l off a 6lb lower mark at Exeter two starts ago and ran to form when fourth, beaten 3l, off 128 last time. Remains on the same mark, is effective at 2m–2m4f and is a consistent type but conditions a worry Thoroughly exposed but back in good form and latest run looks even better now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (6/1 +63%)Champagne Twist |
6/1(+63%) | (7) Champagne Twist 6/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Newbury on his latest start. Cheekpieces are fitted for the first time, the trainer is in form, and he is effective over 2m4f, but current form off-putting. Threatening to lose his way; plenty depends on what effect first-time cheekpieces have. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (8/1 -23%)Junker D'allier |
8/1(-23%) | (5) Junker D'allier 8/1, Made mistakes and may not have stayed when comfortably held in a handicap chase at Ayr last time after stepping up in trip. Effective at 2m and acts on soft and good to soft, but has been inconsistent since switching to fences. Chasing this season; won three novice hurdles last term and highly tried in his defeats. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (17/2 -31%)Prince Zaltar |
17/2(-31%) | (8) Prince Zaltar 17/2, Made mistakes and ran below form when fourth, beaten 12l, in a handicap chase at Kempton last time, with the race possibly coming too soon. Effective over 2m4f–3m, acts on soft and good, consistent but may find a couple better treated. Recent defeats (since winning yard debut) have been in stronger races than this. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (50/1 -213%)Last Kingdom |
50/1(-213%) | (1) Last Kingdom 50/1, Up in trip and may not have stayed when well beaten in the Neville Hotels Premier Handicap Hurdle (Listed) at Leopardstown last time. Had been in good form beforehand, is effective at 2m and remains a consistent performer. Running in better races in Ireland and a big player on stable debut. Capable handicapper in Ireland and could be an interesting addition for new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

FINGLE BRIDGE's jumping over fences hasn't always convinced and he makes plenty of appeal reverting to a discipline that he's unbeaten in. The eight-year-old's last hurdle start saw him landing a Listed event at Exeter and he could prove too classy for these rivals. It will be interesting to see how stablemate Junker D'allier compares in the market as he could also relish a return to the smaller obstacles, while Luttrell Lad is feasible alternative.

A trappy handicap. Preference is for the 10yo LUTTRELL LAD who has less to prove than many after good efforts in victory and defeat.

1st (2) (6/1 -50%)Popton Point |
6/1(-50%) | (2) Popton Point 6/1, Very promising on debut when a head winner in an amateurs' bumper at Wetherby. Returns after a short break, with debut form franked, though a sharper track may not be ideal. The one to beat on form. Overcame distinct signs of greenness to narrowly deny a subsequent winner at Wetherby. |

2nd (6) (8/11 +76%)Vrheligonne |
8/11(+76%) | (6) Vrheligonne 8/11, Promising effort when runner-up, beaten 10l, in a maiden point at Tattersalls Farm on her only start. Trainer is in form and she returns from a break, having run well in a point before joining a top yard which can get them ready first time. Bought for £80,000 after finishing second in an Irish point in October (yielding to soft). |

3rd (5) (28/1 -40%)Port And Brandy |
28/1(-40%) | (5) Port And Brandy 28/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 16l, in a mares' point at Tinahely last time. Returns from a short break and is a point winner who has joined a good yard so could go well. Went 1-5 in Irish points and changed hands for 20,000euros in December. |

4th (8) (16/1 -60%)Mega Etoile |
16/1(-60%) | (8) Mega Etoile 16/1, Storm The Stars filly; Dam held on sole start in bumpers; easy to look elsewhere. Second foal; dam well held in AQPS race/over hurdles in France. |

5th (7) (20/1 -208%)Gentora |
20/1(-208%) | (7) Gentora 20/1, 9,000 euros Getaway filly; full-sister to Masters Legacy, smart at 21f; yard has good record in bumpers; watch betting. Newcomer; her trainer's bumper runners have earned respect in the last two years. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (9/2 +25%)Analitheia |
9/2(+25%) | (1) Analitheia 9/2, Pulled up in the Alan Swinbank Mares' NH Flat Race (Listed) at Market Rasen last time. Soft ground winner on debut previously. Effective over 2m but needs to bounce back after that latest effort. Debut winner; stopped very quickly and pulled up in a Listed race; better than that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (10/1 +29%)Atlantic Blue |
10/1(+29%) | (3) Atlantic Blue 10/1, Blue Bresil mare; half-sister to Nordic Storm, who was moderate at 19f. Dam won a bumper first time out. Trainer-owned newcomer; third foal out of a bumper winner who is well related. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (13/2 +7%)Jota's Gold |
13/2(+7%) | (4) Jota's Gold 13/2, 20,000 euros Doyen mare; half-sister to Pic Roc, very useful at 24f though does have enthusiasm issues; looks an unlikely winner on debut. 20,000euros 3yo and a half-sister to last weekend's Sandown chase winner Pic Roc. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having overcome greenness to make a winning debut at Wetherby, Popton Point warrants respect on her follow-up bid. However, there are some intriguing Rules debutants on show which could have her measure, with JOTA'S GOLD getting the pick. The five-year-old is a half-sister to decent staying chaser Pic Roc and she shouldn't be found lacking for stamina. Point-to-pointers Vrheligonne and Port And Brandy are others to monitor in the betting.

Popton Point is feared but she has to concede weight to VRHELIGONNE who fetched £80,000 after finishing second in an Irish point.
Ths is the racecard key.
