BILLYTHEREALBIGRED has switched stables since beating a subsequent winner by a neck on his handicap bow at Leicester, and the third, fourth and fifth have all completed doubles since so the form is excellent. With that in mind, Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero's new recruit can defy a measly 3lb rise, possibly at the chief expense of I'm Too Tired, who struggled on the level after registering a deserved Sedgefield success. Present Fair and Thankyourluckystar may fight it out for third.

BILLYTHEREALBIGRED starts out with his good new yard on a handy-looking mark so is confidently expected to follow up that breakthrough Leicester success. Thankyourluckystar hinted at a revival when fourth at Ludlow last time and appeals as next best ahead of I'm Too Tired and Present Fair.

The percentage call is I'M TOO TIRED, who has to be forgiven a lack lustre AW Flat effort since his Sedgefield win.

TACTICAL AFFAIR was part of the Andy and Gemma Brown dispersal sale last month and was snapped up for 62,000 euros. He showed a good level of form in Ireland and looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get off the mark at the first time of asking for Warren Greatrex. King Of Tara has shaped with plenty of promise in bumpers, making the frame on all three occasions, and is bred to be better over obstacles. Doyen Quest will find this tougher than the Taunton race he won.

KING OF TARA laid a very solid platform for hurdling with a trio of placed efforts in bumpers and, sure to be well prepared for this, he looks the way to go. Tactical Affair is a massive threat on the pick on his Irish form, with Doyen Quest another penalised runner to consider.

The pick on form has to be TACTICAL AFFAIR, who is taken to make a winning debut for Warren Greatrex after showing ability in Ireland.

Bertie B broke his hurdling duck at Hereford but while he could have more to offer, ZONDA has that little bit more room for improvement. The Jonjo O'Neill-trained grey may not have seen out the best part of three miles at Ascot, and took a step forward when runner-up over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton. That proved he handles testing conditions and he can get off the mark. Big Blue Moon and Petty Cash will be happier back over timber, while El Saviour and J'habite En France are interesting handicap debutants.

The Jonjo O'Neill stable looks to stand a good chance of winning this race for the fourth time in the last 5 years courtesy of ZONDA, who has shaped like a winner in waiting in his 2 handicaps so far. Bertie B rates a likely threat on the back of his recent Hereford success, while the fact that Big Blue Moon went off a short-priced favourite on his chase debut/reappearance suggests his stable thinks he's still well treated and he could bounce back returned to hurdles.

Unexposed 6yo ZONDA (nap) ran a big race in defeat on last month's handicap debut at Wincanton and is taken to go one better.

Connections of ANTI BRIDGIE are going to be disappointed if their mare can't win a race like this. Sporting first-time cheekpieces and dropping back from 3m to a trip over which she enjoyed some success when hurdling, the seven-year-old is the highest rated in the field and represents a stable going great guns this season. She ticks all the right boxes and can strike for the first time over the larger obstacles at the main expense of Current Mood and Lime Drop.

ANTI BRIDGIE sets the standard on her efforts over fences so far and can get off the mark in this sphere returned to face her own sex. Lime Drop may well find one too good again, whilst Current Mood was considerately handled on her prior chase outing and would be well treated if able to recapture her best form.

After running well in three handicap chases, ANTI BRIDGIE has a good chance to get off the mark over fences.

SPORTING ACE has produced a couple of creditable efforts in defeat since his no-show in the Sussex National at Plumpton, and perhaps the refitting of cheekpieces has had something to do with that upturn in form. The handicapper has left him on 117 and it would come as no surprise if he got back in the winning groove. Bretney will likely prove popular following his deserved success at Sandown, while Glance From Clover is another expected to be bang there at the business end.

Competitive stuff but another chance is given to TRACK AND TRACE, who was possibly unsuited by such demanding conditions at Exeter last time. Bretney looked better than ever when forging clear at Sandown so is next best ahead of Gerico Ville, who went close at Plumpton 2 weeks ago.

Still on a workable mark after last month's clear second at Exeter, SPORTING ACE is well worth another go over this sort of trip.

A respectable third on heavy ground at Newbury last month, EQUINUS should be much better suited by these conditions and he may be able to bounce back to the form that saw him win comfortably at Aintree in October. My Bobby Dazzler must hold every chance if bouncing back to the form of his penultimate second at Cheltenham, while Bangor scorer Clondaw Royale is another to note on his handicap debut.

CLONDAW ROYALE has been going the right way in his 3 starts over hurdles, readily getting off the mark at Bangor in December, and he can continue his progress upped in trip for his handicap debut. The 5-y-o is taken to see of the challenge of Equinus, who could benefit from the application of headgear/tongue tie, with Martha Brae also respected.

The suggestion is handicap newcomer CLONDAW ROYALE, who could be well treated and may relish this test.

A highly encouraging second on his Rules debut at Cheltenham in October, VALGRAND looks the one to beat if improving on that effort at a track where the stable boasts an excellent record. A 7lb penalty will make life tougher for Les's Destiny Star after he scored on debut at Doncaster, while Lightningupourdays is another open to improvement following a promising effort at Ludlow. Boston Boy and Chief Sunday look to be the pick of the newcomers.

VALGRAND, having been second in a point, produced a big effort to fill the same position at Cheltenham 4 months ago and, in this lesser race, he's likely to open his account. Boston Boy is another notable recruit from between the flags and Les's Destiny Star was an impressive winner first time out, so they're both regarded as dangers.

As regards the runners with bumper form, VALGRAND has a particularly good chance. Rules debutant Boston Boy is second choice.
Ths is the racecard key.
