Useful on the Flat in France, JUSTICE ROLL lost little in defeat when finishing third on his stable/hurdles debut over 2m at Kempton recently and, with that experience under his belt, he gets the vote to go two places better for a stable who tend to excel with these types. Scottie's Sister has performed with plenty of credit in second on her last couple of starts and another prominent showing would come as no surprise, while Rakki completes the shortlist.

RAKKI has failed to win on the Flat so far but the wait shouldn't be too long over hurdles given the promise he displayed at Chepstow on his fIrst crack over obstacles 3 weeks ago. Justice Roll also showed plenty to work on, while the market may help assess the Dan Skelton-trained pair.

This can go the way of RAKKI whose Flat exploits read well in today's company and it was an encouraging first hurdle run at Chepstow.

ASIAN STAR looked a novice hurdler to keep on the right side of when readily opening her account over 2m at Southwell last month and this appears to be a fine opportunity for her to follow up. The Long Point won nicely in a Huntingdon bumper in May and he looks the main danger to the selection on his debut over timber, while Bredon Hill is another to consider.

ASIAN STAR was value for plenty extra over the result when scoring at Southwell 13 days and looks up to defying a penalty on that evidence. The Long Point created a good impression in his sole bumper and is an obvious threat on this switch to hurdling.

This is weak, and with Asian Star penalised, it looks a good opportunity for bumper winner THE LONG POINT.

KINTAIL showed a useful level of form over hurdles last season, winning cosily at this venue on his reappearance, and there is every chance that the 55,000-pound son of Blue Bresil will improve now spying a fence. The highest rated of these over hurdles, Rambo T looks the obvious danger to the selection, and this former point-to-point performer must enter calculations. Skycutter was progressive over hurdles last term and could make his presence felt.

RAMBO T made an encouraging chasing debut at Uttoxeter and with improvement expected back up in trip, he looks the one to beat, for all Kintail and Skycutter should both make their mark over fences for their leading stables.

It's difficult to see past RAMBO T who was the best of these over hurdles and it was a good run in defeat on his chase debut.

A few of these have something to prove at present and it may pay to persevere with the in-form EZ TIGER. Alex Hales' gelding arrives on the back of a solid third at Plumpton and he makes plenty of appeal racing off the same mark. Royal Deeside was behind in fifth on that occasion, but that was his first outing in 176 days and the four-year-old is entitled to finish closer today. C&D winner Iontach Cheval is worth a check in the market for a yard in great heart at present.

With the Alastair Ralph stable going so well it's worth chancing IONTACH CHEVAL, who made a successful reappearance in this race 2 years ago from an 8 lb higher mark. Red Windsor will be a threat if building on quite an encouraging return to action at Fontwell. Ez Tiger is also respected on the back of his latest third in a big field at Plumpton.

It could pay to chance IONTACH CHEVAL who has seen little action since winning this two years ago off an 8lb higher mark.

Chasing/handicap debutant I'm Ravenous warrants respect in this discipline given his point-to-point background, but a mark of 113 is likely to require some improvement. With that in mind, it could be worth taking a punt on the returning YES DAY. The six-year-old scored on his sole start between the flags and he looks just the sort to excel on his opening bid over fences. Maninsane and Imac Wood are others to consider in an open contest.

The 2 chasing newcomers I'M RAVENOUS and Yes Day look very interesting here with narrow preference for the race-fit I'm Ravenous. God's Own Getaway has had excuses of late so is another to consider for the Skeltons.

Dan Skelton's GOD'S OWN GETAWAY (nap) wouldn't have been far away at Kempton last time had he not mullered two out.

Now that GRIS MAJEUR has regained the winning thread after rallying late in the piece to score# at Hereford last month, there is likely to be more to come from the seven-year-old at a track that is likely to suit. Placed on each of her last two starts when well fancied in the betting, Baby Sage should be thereabouts again, while the experienced Getalead will look to build on a recent success at Wincanton over shorter.

Last-time-out winners GETALEAD and Gris Majeur could be the pair to concentrate on, with ready preference for the former who escapes a penalty for this recent Wincanton success under Gearoid Harney and moving back up in trip here will, if anything, probably be a good thing. The unexposed Baby Sage and Gustoso can do battle for minor honours.

A few with chances but recent winners GRIS MAJEUR and Getalead have a lot going for them. The Hereford hero gets the nod.

TOUCHWOODEXPRESS put it all together when scoring comfortably at Huntingdon on chasing debut and going further up in trip may bring about further improvement as he looks to go in again off 7lb higher. Jony Max has dropped to a mark 26lb lower than his last success over fences, but his most recent second at Wincanton was a return to form. He looks a key player along with the capable Felton Bellevue.

Low-mileage 5-y-o TOUCHWOODEXPRESS surpassed the form shown over hurdles when making a winning chase debut at Huntingdon (23.6f) 4 weeks ago and, with his yard continuing in fine form, he earns the vote to maintain his 100% record in this sphere. Jony Max, who bounced back to form when runner-up at Wincanton latest, may emerge as the chief threat. Likeable 9-y-o Felton Bellevue is another likely to be thereabouts.

This may not take a great deal of winning. TOUCHWOODEXPRESS looked a different horse on his chase/handicap debut and can follow up.
Ths is the racecard key.
