12:40 Wincanton (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WESTERN SOLDIER made his second outing for the Seamus Mullins stable a winning one at this venue last month and this step up in distance could unlock further improvement, so he looks the one to beat. Roadshow failed to supplement his Sedgefield triumph when well beaten at Kempton in October, but he should not be discounted. Hidor De Bersy can beat Bongo Man home for third.

Hidor De Bersy (second choice) has the least to prove as regards the trip but WESTERN SOLDIER is preferred on recent form.

13:10 Wincanton (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sixty's Rock is a full-brother to the smart Cheddleton and the son of Shirocco needs to be monitored closely in the betting. However, experience is on the side of MILOU DU CHENET and, for that reason, he gets the vote. Warren Greatrex's gelding struck in ready fashion on his hurdling debut at Bangor last month and is likely to have a lot more to offer. Network Gold isn't ruled out either.

This looks to be a good opportunity for MILOU DU CHENET to record his second win over hurdles. The main danger is Sixty's Rock.

13:40 Wincanton (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Livingonaprayer got off the mark at Huntingdon last month and has to be considered, but she might find it difficult to give her penalty away to LIMERICK LASS. Anthony Honeyball's mare is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Allart and progressed from her first bumper outing to score next time at Chepstow. The daughter of Soldier Of Fortune looks one to keep on the right side of and gets the vote. Beauty In The Park is another to watch out for.

In an open contest preference is for BEAUTY IN THE PARK to make a winning hurdles debut. Livingonaprayer is the main danger.

14:10 Wincanton (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FINAL STRAW is tough to oppose. He has improved no end since going handicapping, winning at Kempton and then Plumpton, and he should have a lot more to offer. West Orchard is interesting on the basis that he's the sole course winner in the field, but he does have a 352-day absence to overcome. Staff Sergeant Len can get involved too.

This looks to be a good opportunity for FINAL STRAW to land the three-timer. Second choice is Atlantic Power.

14:40 Wincanton (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Course scorer Toothless is a must for the shortlist representing Paul Nicholls, but it's difficult to know what to expect on his return from 571 days off and perhaps the race-fit KALIF D'AIRY is the safer pick on the back of his impressive Lingfield triumph last month. Buoyed by his recent Grade 1 success in the Fighting Fifth, Jeremy Scott saddles two and Pilsdon Pen looks the pick of them under Golden Ace's jockey Lorcan Williams.

The pick is progressive 7yo JOE COTTON, who ran very well in defeat on both outings this autumn and has a good 7lb claimer booked.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SURREY LORD can land this handicap hurdle finale. Toby Lawes' inmate arrives in really good form having proved his Ffos Las success was no fluke when winning stylishly at Kempton last time. That effort suggests there could be more in the locker and he gets the nod ahead of Chepstow winner Doctors Hill. Keep an eye on Dirty Den as well.

Handicap debutant CAME FROM NOWHERE was third in two good maidens last year and also looked promising when reappearing last month.
