SEA OF CHARM was value for more than the winning margin after enduring a luckless passage when scoring over C&D last month, and she should prove tough to stop with a reproduction of that effort off a 4lb higher mark. Opticality warrants respect returning to the level off 3lb higher than her last winning mark, while this step up in trip should help Bay Of Australia to be seen to better effect and he completes the shortlist.

WHERE IS THE LOVE has run creditably on her last 2 outings and, with the step up to 1½m well worth exploring, she's fancied to open her account. Sea of Charm and Bay of Australia head the opposition.

Preference is for SEA OF CHARM who isn't the most prolific but who has recorded her last two wins over C&D, the latest eight days ago.

GLENRIDDING ran out a cosy winner on his nursery debut over a mile at Yarmouth last month and he gets the vote to follow up off 4lb higher. Never The Twain was readily outpointed in a warm Newbury maiden over 7f when last seen, but she is surely capable of better and warrants consideration upped in trip. Iffraaj Power hasn't cut much ice in his three qualifying runs, but better can be expected for a yard who tend to excel with these types.

There's potentially more to come from GLENRIDDING now he's up and running, so he's the percentage call to follow up his recent win at Yarmouth. Never The Twain and Pine Cliffs are a couple of potential improvers now venturing into a nursery and need monitoring closely in the betting.

Most of his rivals remain very unexposed but recent Yarmouth winner GLENRIDDING is likely to be right in the thick of things.

SHEEPHAVENBAYSTORY showed up well for a long way before fading into fifth late on over 7f at Lingfield when last seen but, sporting a hood for the first-time, James Horton's filly gets the vote to get off the mark. Silca Bay ran on well to finish second over 6f at Windsor in August and he merits respect tackling 7f for the first time. Beta Reader and Flagon Dry are also noteworthy.

FLAGON DRY isn’t ideally drawn in stall 10 but he hails from a yard that has had a fair amount of success with its juveniles this year and, having shown promise on his recent C&D debut, he gets the nod. Beta Reader and Immediate Effect are a couple of noteworthy newcomers who require close market inspection.

This looks a good opportunity for SILCA BAY to break his duck. He has shown plenty of ability on turf and is bred to handle the AW.

A highly-encouraging second when prominent throughout and outpaced by the winner late on over C&D last month, MAGIC GLOW should have learned plenty from that experience and she can now go one better. Via Luna may follow the selection home after a respectable fourth on her racecourse bow at Kempton, while Saxon Raider is another to consider as his pedigree promises improvement over this trip.

MAGIC GLOW shaped with a good deal of encouragement when runner-up on his C&D debut a couple of weeks ago and has to be considered the one to beat with improvement on the cards. Gordon Norse and Salve Electra are a couple of newcomers to keep a close eye on given they wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a big impact.

The most obvious answer is MAGIC GLOW, who made a pleasing start to her career when second over C&D a fortnight ago.

Narrowly denied in her pursuit of a double in a higher grade at Goodwood in July, SURVEYOR returns from a break with strong claims. She may have too much for With Style, who makes her handicap debut on the back of being placed first after interference at Pontefract. A comfortable winner over C&D last time out, Lady Of Arabia completes the shortlist.

LADY OF ARABIA did well to overhaul handily-ridden rivals to get off the mark over C&D last month and is fancied to follow up. Surveyor is going the right way now and should be involved again on the back of a good second at Goodwood, whilst With Style produced an improved performance when awarded the race at Pontefract 2 weeks ago and starts out in handicaps from a workable mark.

A few with chances but William Haggas' lightly raced filly WITH STYLE goes into handicaps with more to offer and she edges the vote.

TILLYBOB may still be a maiden after 11 career starts, but this looks like as good an opportunity as any to get off the mark, following a strong runner-up effort here over 5f last time out. Stella Barclay's charge is preferred to the determined Bath scorer Savalas, as well as My Boy Jack, who finished ahead of the selection when runner-up at Thirsk in August. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Banana, Don't Fight It and Doves Of Peace.

MY BOY JACK was arguably unlucky not to score at Thirsk last time and can go one place better here. Tillybob was well backed and returned to her best when runner-up over 5f here last week, so also merits respect, whilst Doves of Peace can round out the placings.

My Boy Jack goes well over C&D and is greatly respected but TILLYBOB is preferred now back up to 6f.

Already a Tapeta winner, INGRA TOR built on some promising recent efforts with a gutsy success at Newmarket last month and, nudged up 2lb, he must have every chance of following up here. The Thames Boatman also commands respect on the back of winning display over 5f at Lingfield, while the low-mileage Aramram is a noteworthy all-weather debutant from just 4lb above his win at Doncaster on his penultimate start. Heed the betting signals regarding the uneaten Lion's House on his belated seasonal debut.

An open-looking sprint but the suggestion is ARAMRAM, who ran a cracker when runner-up in the Ayr Silver Cup behind one who was completing a 6-timer a fortnight ago and Richard Hannon's colt can make a winning start on the all-weather. Second choice is The Thames Boatman, who proved at least as good as ever in picking up a third win of the year at Lingfield last month, with Ingra Tor and the returning unbeaten Lion's House both of interest, too.

The three to appeal most are Aramram, Ingra Tor and AZURE ANGEL with the latter selected to build on her good Yarmouth run.

From the foot of the handicap and with Joe Leavy claiming 3lb, previous C&D winner EASY DANCER has been given every chance gain a second career success on these terms. Goblet Of Fire appears to be the best alternative to the selection off 2lb above his Kempton win last month. Last-time-out winners Laser Focus and Raintown add some further spice, despite both creeping back up in the weights.

A good heat for the grade, with GOBLET OF FIRE fancied to score for the fourth time this season, having got the better of a next-time-out winner at Kempton last month. Laser Focus has proven reliable this season and was better than ever when scoring at Brighton last time, so should also be in the mix, whilst Raintown also displayed a likeable attitude when winning recently at Brighton and is hard to discount.

The starting point is Goblet Of Fire, bidding for four AW wins on the trot, but EASY DANCER (nap) is unexposed and 1-1 over C&D.

Switching to Tapeta combined with a drop in grade were instrumental factors as THE BOBSTER justified good support in the betting at Newcastle last month and, from just 2lb higher, Richard Fahey's three-year-old is an attractive proposition with his bid to follow up on these terms. The in-form Renesmee has been knocking on the door of late and rates a key player despite conceding 9lb to the selection. All-weather debutant Lia Rose can also go well if she handles a synthetic surface.

A tricky finale to solve but the vote goes to RENESMEE, who has found just one too strong on her last couple of starts but reapplied cheekpieces could eke out that bit extra. The Bobster found enough improvement for the step up in trip when scoring on all-weather debut at Newcastle recently, so he heads up the opposition, with Persian Phoenix and Baritus Bellator another couple worth considering, also.

Preference is for Alice Haynes' in-form filly RENESMEE who can go one better than when a good recent Bath second with cheekpieces now on
