SEXY REXY was only narrowly denied when third in a similar race over C&D last time and she merits the utmost respect off the same mark here. The unexposed Velvet Vulcan has to be of interest following his fourth over 1m2f at Chelmsford a few weeks ago, while Duchess and Jenny Ren are others to consider in an open event.

A trappy opener with the vote in favour of BEAR CLAWS. A winner at Limerick in June, he lines up for his new yard having not been seen to anything like best effect at Tramore 24 days ago and he's capable of playing a lead role from this sort of mark. Sexy Rexy, following his latest C&D third, Jenny Ren and Velvet Vulcan head up the dangers.

Preference is for JENNY REN, who is probably reliant on others setting a decent pace but recorded her last three wins over this C&D.

LOUAIZEH put in a career-best effort when third on her handicap bow over an extended 1m1f here in August and this step up in trip can help the three-year-old to get off the mark. Moon Over The Sea is only 4lb higher than when winning at Bath in April and he has to be of interest on his return to action. Delvey edges out Ghostly and Mini Mildred to be best of the rest.

This represents a slight drop in class for MOON OVER THE SEA and as a previous C&D winner, he has a lot going for him. Pysanka looks ready for this trip and he's feared, with Louaizeh a potential improver.

One with some potential is LOUAIZEH, who was doing her best work in the closing stages when third over 9.4f here on her handicap debut.

KAARESS arrives here on the back of two victories at this venue last month and a 2lb rise for the most recent of those wins may not be enough to stop her from making it a hat-trick. Compton Bay has to be of interest on his nursery bow having shown some promise at Brighton last time, while Supreme Tenacity and Unleash Hell are others to consider.

KAARESS clearly goes well on tapeta and can make it 3 from 3 here after another small rise. Supreme Tenacity made much more of an impact on his nursery bow when second at Redcar and rates the main threat ahead of Unleash Hell.

After some intervention by the stewards four weeks ago, KAARESS (nap) is bidding to complete a hat-trick of nursery wins at this track.

Serengeti Sunrise is an interesting newcomer and any market support for George Scott's gelding on debut should be noted. However, the step up to 7f can help DR FOSTER, who has gone close the last twice, and, with the addition of cheekpieces to aid his cause this evening, he can get off the mark at the fourth attempt. Secret Bid and Too Much Trevor won't be far away.

DR FOSTER finished ahead of a couple of next-time-out winners at Newmarket, and while he was a shade disappointing at Catterick latest, he's fancied to bounce back up in trip. Secret Bid is the obvious threat, with Too Much Trevor another to consider.

Mick Appleby's DR FOSTER sets the standard and he gets the vote ahead of Secret Bid and the returning Too Much Trevor.

The hat-trick seeking Bazball has a low draw and is in such good form that she seems sure to run another cracker. Slight preference, though, is for SALVUCCIO, who has shaped with loads of promise on his three starts to date and a combination of first-time cheekpieces and making his nursery debut can see him get off the mark this evening. Mariamne looks best of the rest.

Having opened her account on nursery debut at York, SPECIFIC TIMES has faced with some stern assignments on turf since and, with her yard boasting a particularly appealing record on AW with its juveniles this year, she could just be worth chancing from a handy draw/eased markedly in class. Bazball is compiling a good record in handicaps, and along with Salvuccio, heads up the dangers.

The bang-in-form BAZBALL looks the one to beat with her record in nurseries 21211. This is an easier race than at Chester last time.

BELLE FOURCHE has been edging down the weights and having shaped better than the bare result suggested when trapped wide last time, he can strike in a first-time visor if things drop kindly. How Impressive is in great form and is the obvious danger after scoring over this trip at Yarmouth last month off a 2lb lower mark, while Fifty Year Storm could be hard to keep out of the frame.

HOW IMPRESSIVE looked well served by the drop back to sprinting when opening his account on turf at Yarmouth 17 days ago and, from a handy draw, he could be worth siding with to follow up with his rider's claim off-setting his rise in the weights. Fifty Year Storm is less exposed than most and arrives in form, so she's feared, along with The Princes Poet. Mokaatil is another to monitor lurking on a very handy mark.

The choice is SOME NIGHTMARE who has dropped 1lb below his last winning mark and who showed some good form around here a while back.

MINNETONKA was slightly unfortunate to finish second (dead-heated) in a warm class 2 at Newmarket, having been continually denied a clear run from the two-furlong marker. The daughter of Kingman, a C&D winner last month, is fancied to bounce back now down in class. Change Sings won with more in hand than the winning margin would suggest at Kempton last time and he merits respect from a 4lb raised mark. Zero Carbon can chase the pair home.

MINNETONKA looked a shade unlucky not to win at Newmarket last week having been left with too much to do, so she's taken to gain compensation. Change Sings, Sporting Hero and Batal Dubai are a trio of potential threats in an interesting event.

This can go to MINNETONKA who won over C&D last month and who looked unlucky not to record another success at Newmarket nine days ago.

Caramay was narrowly denied over course and distance 12 days ago and the unexposed daughter of Lethal Force looks set to play a leading role off 2lb higher today. However, a chance can be taken on CASA LUNA. Philip Kirby's charge has plummeted down the handicap in recent starts and she did well to be beaten just three-quarters of a length in third here last time, having raced wide throughout. Christian Howarth's 5lb claim could make all the difference and she gets the nod. Market support for Sao Timothy should be noted.

CARAMAY produced her best effort to date when runner-up over C&D 12 days ago and a reproduction of that form could be good enough to see her collect. Rumnotred and Casa Luna head the dangers.

Top of the list is 3yo CARAMAY, who finished well to go very close in a C&D handicap 12 days ago and is open to further progress.

Chifa boasts a 50-percent strike-rate at this venue (4-8) and he must be respected with that in mind, but marginal preference is for MIN TILL. He was successful over track and trip from 3lb higher in November last year, and his latest Southwell performance would suggest he is gradually coming back to form. Connected and Original Thinker are others to consider.

CONNECTED showed much improved form to get off the mark in cosy fashion on handicap bow over C&D 5 weeks ago and looks capable of defying a 5 lb rise. Chifa shaped better than the bare result here 12 days ago so is feared as he bids for a fifth C&D win, with Original Thinker another to consider.

It looks highly competitive among the rest but CONNECTED could soon prove a good deal better than his current mark.
