16:25 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

STROBELIGHT performed better than his finishing position suggests here last time and, prior to that, he finished a good second at Lingfield. With scope for more improvement, the three-year-old seems like the safest play in what is a tricky handicap to solve. Scenario arrives in good nick and should be thereabouts, likewise Al Shabab, who won at Lingfield two starts ago.

Top of the list is STROBELIGHT (nap), who has finished placed in two of his four handicaps and still has potential.

17:00 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Mariotto comes in here on the back of a breakthrough Beverley success and must be respected on her nursery bow. However, TOASTMASTER makes more appeal as he's got the proven all-weather form and wasn't beaten far at this track on debut in August. Captain Cairney has experience on his side and will be hoping to put that to good use.

The filly TABASKO earned this initial mark at top tracks and she's marginally preferred ahead of Toastmaster.

17:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Paranjape improved from his first to second run and should go well if building on that latest Chelmsford third. However, he might find at least one too good because COOL DOC BOY is taken to do the business. He made a debut full of promise when second at Kempton five days ago and the quick turnaround suggests he's come out of that race well. Shotgun is also noted.

Preference is for COOL DOC BOY, who was heavily backed when a clear second on his Kempton debut last week.

18:00 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having regained the winning thread at Southwell last time out, DANCE TIME could be ready to celebrate once more. A 1lb nudge up in the ratings looks more than workable for the five-year-old and she edges the vote over Cardinal Point. Michael Bell's filly supplemented a triumph at Chelmsford with a respectable third at Lingfield earlier this month and another good account is forecast. Safe And Sound is the pick of the remainder.

Admirably consistent and with the return of a visor no bad thing, CARDINAL POINT could be the answer.

18:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Flowstate attempts to end a frustrating run of seconds, but he could suffer the same fate once again with WAY TO DUBAI marginally preferred. The latter just failed to catch the winner at Lingfield four days ago, and Mick Appleby's charge may finally take advantage of a slide down the weights racing off an unchanged mark. Rye has been thereabouts here of late and is not totally discounted.

There's a good chance this will be strongly run and therefore WAY TO DUBAI might not be overly inconvenienced by dropping back to 6f.

19:00 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

An easy winner here last time, Al Muqdad has a 10lb hike to contend with in this tougher contest and CALYXOH makes more appeal. The latter finished a close fourth at Kempton on last month's all-weather debut, having won at Newbury during the summer, and that points to a big run here with Jane Chapple-Hyam's yard in fine form. Bell Shot drops in class and could prove competitive on his return from a layoff.

This can go to AL MUQDAD, who was an emphatic winner over C&D 16 days ago and remains feasibly treated on his best form.

19:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ERNIE'S VALENTINE arrives in fine fettle, having gone close in both outings since scoring over a mile at Chelmsford in September. The son of Havana Gold found only one too good over this C&D last time and this looks a slightly easier assignment. Toralou is not dismissed off her current mark if forgiven a below par latest effort, while Liv My Life could figure from a tempting rating if rediscovering her best.

This can go to ERNIE'S VALENTINE, who has been in good form on AW this autumn including a strong-finishing second over C&D last time.

20:00 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DARK ROSA has shown promise in her last two starts at Kempton and those efforts suggest that she can play a leading role in a moderate event such as this. Cloch Nua has a good record on the all-weather and he has to be noted, although a 213-day break is a concern. Others to note are Reddeef, Serious Look and Troy Story.

He might not be that well handicapped and ideally wants further, but SERIOUS LOOK still appeals as the safest option.

20:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Gustav Graves beat Sam's Xpress (second) in a similar C&D event three weeks ago, but 6lb and 3lb rises respectively mean that they could both be vulnerable here. With that in mind, preference is for SO SMART, who was second over track and trip last time and merits respect off the same mark. Alshimali could be the main danger after his recent Lingfield third.

Plenty have possibilities but the vote goes to course specialist GUSTAV GRAVES, who cashed in on a reduced mark here three weeks ago.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
