16:25 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

AKIRRA won as his incredibly short odds suggested he would over C&D and, with that confidence boost under his belt, he can gain his revenge on Comic Strip. Just three-quarters of a length separated them when the Crisfords' youngster came out on top at Southwell, but Akirra is 4lb better off and can capitalise. Bessie Wallis arrives on the back of a breakthrough success at Lingfield, but this requires more of her.

The vote goes to the progressive COMIC STRIP, who showed a good attitude when beating Akirra in a Southwell nursery last time.

17:00 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Codiak came within a whisker of getting off the mark in a Redcar nursery and will surely break through sooner rather than later. He may have to wait a little longer, though, because YAA MIN is gradually getting the hang of things and is fancied to step forward from his Redcar third, which came following a break and a gelding operation. Gold Penny is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time so improvement is possible.

Improvement from PYLEATES looks entirely plausible and she is first choice ahead of Codiak.

17:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Completing a three-timer took MARIS ANGEL's Wolverhampton record to five victories from seven visits and she is worth sticking with while at the top of her game. Your Love is progressing nicely and landed the odds to break her duck at Southwell. Fiorella Princess ended her time with Lemos De Souza in good form and is interesting on her debut for the Charlie Wallis team. Court Drive was pipped at Lingfield recently and is only 1lb higher now.

Again receiving weight all round, COURT DRIVE could well prove the answer back down in class. Maris Angel is second pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The drop to 5f helped Forest Gunner get off the mark at Southwell, but he needs to back that performance up off a 5lb higher mark. With that in mind, I CAN IMAGINE might prove to be the answer. Second on her first attempt at this trip here, she has every chance of going one better. A Lady Forever, Street Life and Juno Star are others capable of being in the mix.

Being unexposed over 5f, I CAN IMAGINE may well build on her latest effort and get off the mark. Lady Bouquet is second pick.

AAJEJ seems happiest on an artificial surface and came within a neck of a first success over 1m6f here. He stayed every yard of the trip and, if anything, this distance promises to get even more out of him. Ribble Vibe's sole previous victory came on debut, but he has been performing well in defeat and should double that tally soon enough. Diamond Bay wasn't that far behind the selection last time, while Senor Cortez has more to give.

The choice is RIBBLE VIBE who ran really well when third in a slightly better contest over this trip at Southwell 11 days ago.

19:00 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The penny is dropping with HOMME DE FER, who has made the frame on his last couple of starts. He may not have quite seen out the mile at Southwell and the return to this distance can pay dividends. Rain Cap found only one too strong at Redcar, but has never shown his true colours on the all-weather. Eye Of The Water also has a better record on turf, although he has managed to get his head in front twice here.

The vote goes to HOMME DE FER who is relatively unexposed on the AW and has been shaping as though a first win may be imminent.

19:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

THE COLA KID has registered just one win in the last two years, but recent efforts have suggested his turn is imminent again. He has been sent off at big odds when sandwiching a Kempton fourth with two narrow defeats here, and he won't go under the radar this time. Havana Club was a close-up third in the other division of the race the selection finished second in last week and has to be a danger. Rock Master may get closer to The Cola Kid than he did six days ago.

Preference is for THE COLA KID who ran another good race in defeat when beaten a neck here six days ago.

20:00 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A drop in trip worked the oracle for THE DARK BARON, who recorded a comfortable success over C&D in October. That also happened to be the three-year-old's all-weather debut so although raised 5lb, he may well have more to offer. Another who could progress is handicap debutant Study Of Motion, especially from a handy draw. Magic Runner is berthed wide, but she did hit the frame over track and trip last time.

With further progress plausible, THE DARK BARON (nap) is taken to follow up his C&D success. Study Of Motion is second pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DINGWALL broke very slowly but came home best of all to record a commanding C&D triumph, before following up in similarly remarkable fashion a day later. It might not be an easy watch for his supporters once again, but the penalised four-year-old is clearly well ahead of the handicapper and can complete a quickfire hat-trick. Whiteley Way and Mr Nugget both arrive in fair form and are sure to go close, as is the well-treated Revich, who has shown much more on his last couple of appearances.

Even another tardy start may not stop DINGWALL from completing a quickfire Wolverhampton hat-trick. Al Shabab is second pick.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
