Lucky's Dream returned to winning ways at Newbury last Tuesday and has to be respected with Ryan Kavanagh's claim negating the 4lb penalty he picked up for that success. That said, a chance is taken with BLUEFLAGFLYINGHIGH, who has been knocking on the door in recent starts, including when second at Beverley on the same day Ben Brookhouse's gelding won, and he can take advantage of being 2lb well-in. Charlie's Choice's recent efforts are likely to see him in the mix.

LUCKY'S DREAM remains well handicapped under a penalty for his recent Newbury win and could put his younger rivals to the sword. The consistent Charlie's Choice is feared most.

The choice is BLUEFLAGFLYINGHIGH who is 2lb well in and has gone close in two of his three starts since his return.

SHADOW OF LIGHT is the obvious place to start with Charlie Appleby's colt being a three-parts brother to Earthlight, who went unbeaten during his juvenile campaign which culminated with a pair of Group 1 victories in the Prix Morny and the Middle Park. Expected to know his job, he may well prove to be one of Godolphin's smarter prospects for the season. Ultrasoul is out of a Prix de Diane winner and commands plenty of respect, along with Lakers, whose half-sister Ornellaia was placed in Group 1 company last season.

SHADOW OF LIGHT is a likely type first time up for Godolphin and is the selection before market clues. Haazeez is probably worth another chance, while Lakers and Ultrasoul are another couple of appealing newcomers from Newmarket.

Godolphin newcomer SHADOW OF LIGHT is closely related to Earthlight, who was a top-class 2yo in the same colours, and he gets the nod.

There is lots to like about the regally-bred GLISTENING on paper and, making her debut for a yard operating at a 21% strike rate at this venue this year, she gets the vote to get off the mark at the first try. Eighth Avenue finished third in a similar event on her debut at Kempton last month and must enter calculations with that experience under her belt. The step up in trip is an interesting move for Pretty Thing and the daughter of Calyx can also go well.

GLISTENING makes stacks of appeal on paper and gets the vote before market clues. Pretty Thing took a step forward at Hamilton and has races in her, while Eighth Avenue should build on her promising start.

The Gosden-trained GLISTENING is by Frankel out of Group 2 winner Soffia and is taken to make a winning start to her career.

A taking winner at Leicester last month when making just his second start on turf, SIEMPRE ARTURO is likely to have more improvement forthcoming off a 4lb higher mark. David Egan taking over in the saddle is no negative, and it may be Due To Henry that gives him most to think about on his handicap debut following a relatively comfortable success over shorter at Lingfield. Epidavros and Galactic Charm are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

SIEMPRE ARTURO displayed a really willing attitude when recording win number 3 of his career at Leicester 3 weeks ago and this likeable type can defy another small rise in the weights. Queen's Company is a pretty reliable proposition at Yarmouth and is a big threat given she's below her last winning mark, with Epidavros also of interest on handicap debut.

Queen's Company is shortlisted but EPIDAVROS could well have more to offer having made a short-priced favourite work for it latest.

This can go the way of WONDER SMILE, who has performed with plenty of credit on each of his last two starts over 7f and should be suited by going up in distance. A mark of 69 still looks manageable as he aims to see off recent C&D runner-up Salamanca City and the capable Royal Velvet, who represents the in-form William Knight team.

SALAMANCA CITY put 6 lengths between herself and the rest when finding only a subsequent winner too strong over C&D 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, she's capable of going one place better. Wonder Smile shaped well last time so is second choice, with Anglo Saxson rounding off the shortlist.

This usually goes to a well-fancied 3yo and SALAMANCA CITY (nap) can extend the sequence. Wonder Smile is second choice.

This may be a first start on turf for SERGEANTS LEGACY but the way he shaped in April when second at Kempton was highly encouraging, and Chelsea Banham's charge could break the maiden on the back of a gelding operation. Narrowly denied over that same track and trip last month, Scarlet Lady must enter calculations, along with Windsor scorer Zaman Daar, who may improve for going back up to 7f. Dashing Donkey and Seattle Time are players based on the pick of their form.

This is a good piece of placing by connections of ZAMAN DAAR, who can race from 2 lb lower than the mark he won an apprentice race off at Windsor 10 days ago. Dashing Donkey also tasted success last time and has the services of William Buick, with Scarlet Lady another to consider.

Switched to a hood on her comeback, FARIHA is preferred to the well-treated pair Zaman Daar and Scarlet Lady.
Ths is the racecard key.
