DEREHAM and Zooks are likely to be popular after both won last time out. The latter has held her from well and appeals despite picking up a penalty for last week's Ffos Las triumph under Bradley Furniss, who retains the ride. However, Dereham's Newmarket success is a stronger piece of form and a 6lb rise looks very manageable. Regally Blonde and Wilderness complete the shortlist.

Dereham is second choice behind SENOR CORTEZ, who posted an improved effort over this trip at Southwell last time.

CONCERT was a very promising second on her debut at Newbury and should be a good deal wiser. William Haggas won this race 12 months ago and can follow up with this daughter of Showcasing now she has some experience. Zighy is shortlisted after also filling the runner-up slot when introduced over 5f here last month. Enha, Coconut Cove and Halloween Lady are nicely-bred debutants to monitor in the betting.

Green here four weeks ago, ZIGHY may have the edge over fellow debut second Concert.

ELARA MAY is heading in the right direction judged on her recent third at Southwell and the daughter of Bated Breath makes plenty of appeal on her nursery debut. Acceptance didn't get much luck in running at Ffos Las last month and is capable of better, while London Is Blue and No Way Hozay are others worthy of a place on the shortlist.

This can go to ELARA MAY who has improved with each start and can do better yet now returned to 5f on her nursery debut.

Nepal finished fourth at the Curragh in June and now goes for the George Scott stable. The son of Camacho sets the standard with an official rating of 82, but it may pay to side with FOREVER PENYWERN. William Haggas' charge has shown ability in both of his career starts, most recently finishing third at Beverley, and this step up in trip could work the oracle. Playtime warrants a market check on his return from a long absence.

Forever Penywern is second choice behind NEPAL who makes his debut for George Scott having been bought from Ireland for 75,000gns.

Marcus finished a close third in this class at Nottingham on his latest outing and is likely to be thereabouts, but VICTORS DREAM gets the vote. Marco Botti's five-year-old could only manage fourth at Southwell in June, but the return to turf, along with Curtis Wilson-Ruddock claiming a handy 7lb, might see him in a different light. Global Effort is another to consider.

Master Zack is worth a market check but this could at last be the right race for MARCUS who's been in good form since back on turf.

DUE DATE made every yard of the running to regain the winning thread in a classified stakes at Leicester last month and now returns to the handicap ranks. If the five-year-old is in similar form, he could prove hard to beat. Kurimu finished a fair fourth in this grade at Chepstow and the application of first-time blinkers might bring out more improvement. Red Walls isn't out of it either.

Kurimu could benefit from the drop back in trip but preference is for DUE DATE (nap), who won a classified race at Leicester latest.
Ths is the racecard key.
