The draw hasn't been kind to recent Wolverhampton winner FRANKIES DREAM, but the son of Belardo was held up in rear that day and, should they adopt similar tactics, a 3lb rise might be no barrier to further success. Sunny Time hit the frame at Chelmsford last time out and a similar level of performance would give him every chance. Kameko Spirit needs to be monitored in the betting ahead of her return from a 107-day absence.

It's hard to look beyond FRANKIES DREAM, who showed improved form to open his account at Wolverhampton earlier in the month and a 3 lb rise shouldn't be beyond him. Sunny Time and Followeroffashion are most likely to chase the selection home.

Most of these have plenty to prove but FRANKIES DREAM won at Wolverhampton last Saturday and is a major player again back on Polytrack.

MONEY DANCER handled testing ground well when making a winning debut at the Curragh last spring. Her form tailed off in three subsequent Flat outings, but the Belardo filly made a very encouraging start over hurdles at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting when staying on well into third behind Wendrock with Last Kingdom 16 lengths back in fourth. Ephesus won a 1m4f Curragh maiden for Aidan O'Brien and finished a moderate third behind the impressive Sainte Lucie when switched to hurdles here last month with Chortal over 10 lengths behind. Castleheath won on the Flat at Sligo and made a bright start over hurdles at Cork.

Flat-winner MONEY DANCER displayed stamina for the hurdling game when third at Leopardstown 17 days ago and expected to build on that, she looks the answer. The JP McManus-owned pair Last Kingdom and Powerful could be the main dangers.

A chance is taken on CASTLEHEATH who ran a big race at huge odds at Cork and with improvement likely, he may be worth chancing
Class & Speed Card

STAGE WINNER sets the form standard having finished within a length of the winner when third at Wolverhampton last month and this appears to be a good opportunity for George Boughey's colt to shed the maiden tag. Kewmill kept on well for fourth over 6f on her debut and is likely to progress up in trip, while Sanditon heads the remainder.

STAGE WINNER took a small step forward from his debut when third at Wolverhampton recently and George Boughey's colt is fancied to make it third time lucky in what looks a weak contest. Kewmill's debut fourth at Chelmsford was fairly encouraging, so she rates as the most obvious danger, with Threatening taken to fill out third stepping up in distance.

This can go to STAGE WINNER, who sets a clear standard on his close third at Wolverhampton and is open to more progress.
Class & Speed Card

PIPERS CROSS built on her fifth-placed stable debut at Bangor when hitting the frame at Hereford last month. Emma Lavelle's mare was 28 lengths clear of the fourth that day and she makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark. Jack Sprat arrives on the back of fair fourth over fences at Huntingdon and he's feared most reverting to timber. Course winner Longshanks is also worth a second look.

JACK SPRAT didn't improve as may have been expected over fences but he figures on a tempting mark returned to timber for a yard in good order. He receives the vote in favour of Pipers Cross and Mister Barclay (on his return to action).

The mare PIPERS CROSS has performed no more than okay in two races for Emma Lavelle but she's a grafter and will enjoy this track.
Class & Speed Card

AWAY TO MILAN ran well after a lengthy absence when third to Binge Worthy over 2m3f here in November and should be suited by this drop back in distance after again weakening in the closing stages over 2m3f here on New Year's Eve. Ragmans Corner opened his account at Galway in October and comes here off another creditable run when second to Arch Enemy at Fairyhouse, while Tuckmill is another for the shortlist. The Court Cave gelding has won three times over hurdles including at Wexford last summer and has been in good form since over fences.

RAGMANS CORNER rates the pick of these weights on the back of his very good Fairyhouse second so gets tthe vote. Tuckmill heads the list of dangers back in this sphere with Royal Time, Jarvis Brook and Away To Milan all in the mix too.

TUCKMILL (nap) ran a cracker over fences at Leopardstown when last seen and he's rated a stone lower in this sphere
Class & Speed Card

TADREEB made it back-to-back C&D victories when winning here on Thursday and while a 4lb penalty will make things tougher, past exploits would suggest he should have more than enough to defy it. Charlie Mason finished second to the selection last time out and is entitled to go close on revised terms along with Super Hit, who was last seen winning at Chelmsford in October.

This could be between last-time-out winners TADREEB and Super Hit. The former has clearly seen a positive effect of a stable change and is probably the way to go in his hat-trick bid, although the latter deserves plenty of respect having switched yards since last seen when successful at Chelmsford. Charlie Mason, runner-up to the selection 4 days ago, is also considered.

Top of the list is the resurgent TADREEB (nap), who is 2-2 since joining Rod Millman and both those wins have been over C&D.

Although he made it no further than the fifth fence on his chase/seasonal bow at Carlisle 63 days ago, it is too soon to write off Pic Roc in this discipline. However, DENEMETHY scored on his second attempt over fences at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and that experience could prove crucial. Issam and Alcedo are making their debuts over the larger obstacles and neither can be discounted.

PIC ROC may have departed early on his return/chase debut at Carlisle, but he has all the hallmarks of a useful chaser and is fancied to make amends provided he's none the worse from that spill. The main danger may emerge from Alcedo, who hasn't been seen since being pulled up in the Prestige Novices' at Haydock 11 months ago but rates as a notable chasing debutant for Venetia Williams. Denemethy, who was a fortunate winner last time, completes the shortlist.

Ben Pauling has a strong hand in this division and PIC ROC can join the party by making amends for his unlucky fall at Carlisle.
Class & Speed Card

MAGIC MCCOLGAN was a useful sort in bumpers last season winning at Leopardstown and finishing second to Familiar Dreams again on testing ground in a Fairyhouse Listed event. She beat all bar Relieved Of Duties when switched to hurdles on her reappearance at Cork last month and gets the vote over Speculatrix, who held a similar level of form in bumpers. The course winner was clear when falling at the last on her hurdles debut at Killarney and takes a drop in class after disappointing here last time. The well-bred Glens Lullaby switches to hurdles after a decisive bumper win at Wexford and she also commands respect.

Henry de Bromhead's FULL OF LIFE shaped well when a debut hurdling second in a big field at Cork last month and this winning pointer can go one better now with improvement very much on the cards. Willie Mullins' Magic McColgan, also runner-up on her debut at Cork, is feared most, with form pick Speculatrix and newcomer Glens Lullaby in the picture too.

The well-bred MAGIC MCCOLGAN ran with promise on her return to action and she ought to improve stepping up in trip
Class & Speed Card

Existent (second), Bedford Flyer (third) and Night On Earth (fourth) were all separated by half a length when the trio met over C&D on New Year's Eve. The first-named had also finished runner-up the time before at Wolverhampton behind MICHAELA'S BOY and Robert Cowell's gelding, who only went up 1lb for that success, makes plenty of appeal once again. The aforementioned Bedford Flyer's consistency gives him every chance of being in the mix.

MICHAELA'S BOY has hit top form lately and, while his latest success was the end of a long losing run, he might be able to make a quick follow up after a small rise. Bedford Flyer and Existent look the chief dangers.

An open race in which last year's runner-up BEDFORD FLYER gets the vote ahead of Michaela's Boy and Diomed Spirit.
Class & Speed Card

AS THE FELLA SAYS proved too keen when weakening into second on his Rules debut over 2m5f at Warwick last month. The Soldier Of Fortune gelding should appreciate this stiff 2m1f trip and a breakthrough victory in this sphere looks imminent. Saint Anapolino has hit the frame on both outings over hurdles to date and the six-year-old is feared most, ahead of point-to-point winner Roe And Co.

Point-winner AS THE FELLA SAYS made a promising start to his Rules career when runner-up at Warwick a month ago and with this drop in trip not expected to be a problem, he can go one place better. With Saint Anapolino looking far from straightforward last time, Roe And Co could emerge as the chief threat.

Nicky Henderson's AS THE FELLA SAYS drops back to 2m from 2m5f but on a stiff track and in a very winnable maiden.
Class & Speed Card

PEBBLE BLEU might be a bit of value in this novice handicap hurdle. Tried in a first-time tongue-tie, she won off 4lb higher over fences here in October and is very interesting dropping in class and reverting to timber. Birmingham Alabama won a Wexford maiden last summer and shaped well on her return at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day. Wendell's Lass gave some encouragement when third to Arch Enemy at Fairyhouse last month and is now fitted with cheekpieces, while Avandra and The Lucky Lobster are others to note.

Unexposed mare BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA improved when third back from a break on her handicap debut at Fairyhouse and, armed with scope for further improvement, she looks the way to go. Lehaunstown can be expected to leave his low-key maiden form well behind now pitched into a handicap and is feared most ahead of Wendell's Lass. However, there is a significant caveat: if recent runaway Limerick winner Beggars Rock sidesteps his engagement here on Sunday and takes his chance, he will be a huge player.

BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA should be invovled if she comes on for her return when staying on nicely for 3rd and she's only up 1lb
Class & Speed Card

Manton Road went close on his first start for Gay Kelleway when third at Newcastle and is expected to go well again. The vote, though, goes to SARABI, whose nursery debut at Southwell suggested an extra furlong would see her in a better light. The application of cheekpieces for the first time is likely to help Eva's Eyes, while Spinning Dancer is another capable of improving.

A weak race that could go the way of MANTON ROAD, who made a positive start for his new yard when third in a nursery at Newcastle last time. This sharper track will play to his strengths and he's taken to prevail over Sarabi, with Eva's Eyes also on the shortlist.

Most of these have something to prove and the one that stands out is MANTON ROAD, who went close on his stable debut at Newcastle.
Class & Speed Card

ILLICO DE COTTE has improved for the switch to the larger obstacles with a victory at Carlisle in October backed up with a placed effort at the same venue last month. The seven-year-old remains unexposed in this discipline and appears to have been found an excellent opportunity to strike. The return to a softer surface may be in the favour of Livin On Luco having struggled at Cheltenham last month, while Southern National runner-up Feivel completes the shortlist.

It's highly likely that NEO KING's mark for this handicap chase debut seriously underestimates him and this multiple point winner shades preference ahead of the Illico de Cotte, who has taken well to fences and remains open to improvement in this sphere. Pachacuti hasn't done much wrong since switched to the larger obstacles and he is best of the rest.

He has a lot of weight but ILLICO DE COTTE (nap) has raised his game over fences and the third at Carlisle reads all the better now.
Class & Speed Card

Former point-to-point and bumper winner WILL THE WISE could be the answer. He has been placed in a couple of maiden hurdles and was highly tried in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Navan. Custom Taylor won his bumper in Kilbeggan before placed runs in maiden hurdles at Galway and Limerick. Notably, the horse that beat him into second at Limerick over Christmas has an entry in a Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival. Butchers Bill wasn't cheap at a Derby Sale and there is likely to be more to come from him, while Jump Allen is one to note up in trip. Point-to-point graduate Banter At The Bar should be given a market check.

Point winner BANTER AT THE BAR may well turn out to be an above-average recruit and he is taken to make a winning start under Rules. Custom Taylor has done nothing wrong in his two starts over hurdles and he rates the main danger ahead of Will The Wise. The Willie Mullins-trained Jump Allen and Prophet's Corner are others with potential.

A fairly useful standard is set by CUSTOM TAYLOR who has placed in 2 maiden hurdles and looks like an improver up in trip
Class & Speed Card

PERFECT PAROLE produced her best effort in a nursery when finishing fourth at Chelmsford last month and Tom Ward's filly wouldn't need to improve much to get off the mark in a contest like this. Freak Encounter had excuses when a beaten favourite at Chelmsford in November and the return to a mile combined with blinkers should see him in the mix. Others to note include Aneedah Hero and Born Too Run.

PERFECT PAROLE is the only one to arrive in form and, as such, is the likeliest one to prevail in a decidedly poor race. Freak Encounter and Born Too Run might pose a threat but both are depending on headgear having a positive effect.

It might be worth taking a chance with WELSH FIZZ, who looks a possible improver upped to 1m on her handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

MR GREY SKY was let down by his jumping when returning at Ludlow in November and the handicapper has given him a chance by dropping him 3lb. Softer ground is likely to aid his cause in what looks to be a winnable contest on paper. Doyouknowwhatimean pulled up at Chepstow last month but isn't one to underestimate, while Polisud is of interest judged on his chase form in France.

POLISUD was sold out of Micky Hammond's yard for only £4,000 but shaped with encouragement on his reappearance for new connections in a Lingfield handicap hurdle last month and makes plenty of appeal with that run under his belt now back over fences. Multiple hurdles winner Passing Kate could be the one to follow the selection home, granted a clear round on this chase debut, while Doyouknowwhatimean is also accorded respect, despite misfiring at Chepstow recently.

Without a one-dimensional front-runner to steal his thunder this time, a chance is taken on MR GREY SKY returning to form.
Class & Speed Card

COSMO RENFRO looks dangerous reverting back to hurdling. Chasing didn't go to plan as he fell at Gowran Park and was pulled up at this track. However, he wasn't out of the first three on his previous seven hurdle races. During that spell, he won twice at Limerick and relishes attritional ground. Slotty Dotty brings a consistent level of form to the contest and has the same rating of 105 as Cosmo Renfro. She has banked third places in Leopardstown and Tramore and was last seen finishing fourth at Limerick in December. Comeonarchie kept on for second over further at this venue last month, but the forecast ground conditions may not be ideal for him.

If the first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect ROBYNDEGLORY would have a serious chance, off the same mark as when a close third in a big-field handicap at Tipperary in November. She has failed to fire both starts since but perhaps the headgear will have make a difference. Comeonarchie put in a solid shift here last time and he is an obvious danger, while Tilloughna is also on the shortlist.

Improved under a more positive ride here last month when second over 3m, COMEONARCHIE can go one better here dropped in trip
Class & Speed Card

Turned out again quickly after scoring over C&D on Thursday, FORGE VALLEY LAD was value for more than the winning margin on that occasion and he can follow up under a 4lb penalty. Mirabello Bay caught the eye on his first run for new connections when not getting a clear run and keeping on for fifth over 1m2f at Chelmsford, while Fullforward is another to note, having only once been outside the first three in his last four starts.

Though FULLFORWARD has yet to strike on the all-weather, he was placed for the seventh time from 14 starts on synthetics when third over this C&D recently and is appealing off the same mark. Forge Valley Lad has to be feared on the back of a fourth C&D success on Thursday, while Mirabello Bay and The Colorist both have each-way claims.

This looks the time to catch MHAJIM, who isn't straightforward but is interesting back at Lingfield. Forge Valley Lad is respected.
Class & Speed Card

WILLIAM PHILO outran huge odds to finish a promising second over C&D last time out and he can prove that was no fluke by going one better off the same mark. That may be at the main expense of two-time course winner Sindabella, and Olivia Kate, who has strong claims on the form of her Ludlow success two starts back. Others to note include Chauffeur Driven, Coconut Twist and Newtonian.

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and WILLIAM PHILO looks the way to go on the back of his excellent recent C&D second. Chauffeur Driven is another weighted to have a big say and next on the list ahead of Sindabella and Bobby's Fortune.

Wide open. With his yard back in better form now, a chance is taken that PUSH TO PASS can run better than on his handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

INTROVERSIO is a half-sister to a Listed bumper winner and is of obvious interest on her debut for Willie Mullins who won this race last year with another newcomer. Gordon Elliott's Forceonmyown came home second in a Limerick bumper behind a highly-regarded winner. She was well clear of the remainder, so this former winner between the flags sets a decent standard. Galileo Springs encounters much slower ground, but has posted runner-up spots in Naas and Fairyhouse. It is worth noting that it was a very smart sort that beat her in Fairyhouse. Arctic Flame can build upon a Thurles fifth, while Katie's Casper showed some promise in third in a Downpatrick bumper last May.

INTROVERSIO is in excellent hands and related to a winner in this sphere, so she may well be up to scoring at the first attempt for all that Galileo Springs sets a reasonable standard and looks a danger. A case can be made for Forceonmyown, too.

Galieo Springs, Katie's Casper and Forceonmyown all have chances but the debutante INTROVERSIO could usurp them all
Class & Speed Card

A revelation on his first start for the Simon Pearce stable when scoring comfortably over C&D last month, BEARAWAY is likely to uphold form with the reopposing Uzincso (third) off 4lb higher. The hat-trick-seeking Masqool is a key player, as well as the progressive Time Tested, who goes back up in trip having won two of his last four starts.

The vote goes to BEARAWAY, who snapped a losing run of more than two years when scoring over C&D on debut for Simon Pearce last month and, still on a fair mark up 4 lb, he is taken to strike again. Time Tested is unexposed over this trip and is second choice ahead of Masqool and Uzincso.

The vote goes to BEARAWAY, who was a comfortable winner on his stable debut over C&D last month and remains well treated on old form.
Class & Speed Card

In what could be an informative bumper, a tentative vote goes to newcomer UPTOWN DANDY, who is a half-brother to talented Grade 2 winner Bill Joyce. The Ben Pauling stable knows how to ready one first time out and he may have too much for fellow debutants Limerick Lass and Scorpio Rising. An easy winner at Uttoxeter last April, Realco is another to consider on his first run for the Dan Skelton team.

UPTOWN DANDY is a half-brother to a dual winner in this sphere and represents an excellent stable, so he gets the marginal vote on debut ahead of Realco, who was last seen in April scoring readily for a different yard. Scoprio Risin is another notable newcomer.

Form choice REALCO is the selection but allow for flexibility as any strong market moves among the remainder should be heeded.
Class & Speed Card

Having scored a shade cosily at Lingfield 10 days ago, a 2lb rise may prove to be on the lenient side for FURTHER MEASURE. Warren Fentiman claims a handy 5lb and a quickfire double could be on the horizon. Daaris has hit the frame on both outings since his C&D victory in early December and another bold bid is forecast. Fellow in-form rival Grand Duchess Olga is also noted.

CARLTON has been transformed by the switch to James Owen and assuming he's allowed to take his chance on the back of Saturday's success, the 5-timer may well be on the cards. Mr Zippi has a bigger performance in him on the level so he's second choice, ahead of Daaris.

This can go to CARLTON, who is four out of four over 1m6f at Chelmsford since joining James Owen, the latest win coming on Saturday.
Class & Speed Card

APACHE STAR caught the eye when denied a clear run on his never-nearer third over C&D recently. Mark Loughnane's charge makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged rating and compensation may beckon. Dual track scorer My Genghis has offered enough on his latest appearances at this venue to suggest that he can have a say in proceedings as well, while Papa Don't Preach warrants a second look racing off his last winning mark.

MAHARAJAS EXPRESS shaped as though still in form over 6f here on Saturday and with the return to the 5f in his favour, he can get it right this time. Buraback caught the eye over C&D a week ago so is feared most, ahead of My Genghis.

Having shaped better when fourth over C&D last week, BURABACK is selected to take advantage of his current good mark.
Class & Speed Card

16-race maiden Rosenpur has filled the runner-up berth on his last four outings and, dropping in distance, he may have to play second fiddle once more. REBEL STAR arrives on the back of a solid third over today's trip at Southwell and Robert Cowell's filly is slightly more compelling. Francisco boasted some fair form in 2023 and market support on his return from a 433-day layoff would be interesting.

REBEL STAR receives 5 lb from her rivals and in the hope she can cast aside a lesser run at Southwell a month ago, this looks a good opportunity for her. Rosenpur and Francisco are the viable threats.

A chance is taken on FRANCISCO, who showed promise in two 7f events for Andrew Balding in 2023 but has been absent since.
Class & Speed Card

REBEL PATH made all to defeat a well-handicapped rival under Olivia Haines at Chelmsford last time out and, should the budding apprentice adopt similar tactics, he might be tough to peg back. A 4lb rise will undoubtedly make things tougher and Havana Sky, whose winning run came to an end at Lingfield earlier this month, appeals as the main threat. Many A Star can chase the pair home.

A few with chances but REBEL PATH scored with something in hand at Chelmsford City last time out so looks the way to go. The handily-weighted Kitaab is feared most after a break with Many A Star and Bulldog Drummond also worthy of consideration.

Although on a career-high mark, HAVANA SKY is taken to win again now back at 6f. Rebel Path and Many A Star can also run well.
Class & Speed Card

A chance can be taken on PROFESSOR TICKLE, who was forced to race wider than ideal when attempting to make all over C&D last Monday. The son of Profitable is more favourably drawn on this occasion and, off an unchanged mark, he gets the nod to come home in front. Nelson Gay has been knocking on the door recently he ought to be on the premises once again, along with Tyke.

Course-winner LIHOU should be all the better for a recent run at Lingfield after a break and is fancied to capitalise on a lenient mark. In-form C&D winner Nelson Gay rates a big threat though, with Prince Of Bel Lir and Professor Tickle not discounted either in an open sprint.

This can go to PROFESSOR TICKLE (nap), who should find things easier from a lower draw this time. Nelson Gay is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

JUST RITA seems to be getting the hang of things since joining the David Loughnane stable, and she must hold every chance if building on a strong runner-up effort at Southwell last time out. The four-year-old gets the vote ahead of the capable Amaysmont, and River Wharfe, who ran well over 1m at Lingfield on his penultimate start. Al Suil Eile and Global Warning are capable of being in the shake-up too.

A tight-knit sprint in which KALGANOV is taken to build on his tendery-handled Newcastle eighth last time out and get back to winning ways from a handy mark. C&D scorer A Pint Of Bear is another weighted to go well and heads the list of dangers, although Just Rita, Global Warning and Triggered all need factoring in too.

Others have better claims on recent form but SURPRISE PICTURE could well stage a revival back in Class 6. Kalganov is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

Narrowly denied at Lingfield last time out when slightly up in distance, FOREVER PROUD should appreciate a return to this track having scored over a similar trip here on her previous two starts. James Owen's charge may have too much for Jumeira Vision, who got up late in the day to win over C&D last time out. Strategic Fortune is another to take seriously.

FOREVER PROUD is thriving under the expert tutelage of James Owen and fancied to quickly resume winning ways on the back of her excellent recent Lingfield second. Strategic Fortune didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth over C&D last time and can have a say, while Port Noir, Green Power and Jumeira Vision all enter calculations too in this competitive contest.

This can go to FOREVER PROUD who is standing up well to a busy spell and has won his last two starts at Wolverhampton.
Ths is the racecard key.
