BELIEVITANDUCAN found life tough in the Grade 2 Triumph Hurdle trial at Cheltenham. Alan King's inmate had made a pleading hurdling debut when scoring at Newbury before that and looks worth another chance back at this level, despite carrying a penalty. Analiese is also burdened with a penalty for landing a maiden at Hereford last month, but she will likely appreciate this extra yardage, while Across Earth can get involved too.

ANALIESE should have more to come on the back of her Hereford success and is narrowly preferred to fellow hurdle winner Believitanducan. Across Earth may prove best of the remainder.

This can go to BELIEVEITANDUCAN who was out of his depth in a Cheltenham Grade 2 last time, but had won well on his hurdles debut.

RED N YELLOW has shown a lot of promise in finishing second in both his previous starts and won't need much of a step forward to get off the mark at just the third time of asking. Sherminator has form that ties in with the selection but a 7lb penalty for his Newbury success could be his undoing here. Good For You was a good second in a maiden at Wincanton last month and can also figure with another step forward.

GOOD FOR YOU holds much the best form on show and looks capable of better still so is fancied to get off the mark and fend off Harry Fry's new recruit and Newbury scorer Sherminator. Red N Yellow can also have a say though and could be set for a place once more.

Harry Fry's new recruit SHERMINATOR beat a good yardstick at Newbury in January and might be good enough to overcome his penalty.

I Shut That D'or bids for a hat-trick raised 5lb for winning at Hereford, though he is progressing well and another bold bid is expected. Sainte Doctor returned a ready winner when upped in distance at Fakenham and she can land a blow, but PILSDON PEN will be sharper for last month's reappearance in the mud at Lingfield. A dual winner at Wincanton last season, this faster surface will suit Jeremy Scott's charge and he should have more to offer over fences.

None of these can be ruled out with any great confidence but KORUS nevertheless stands out on account of his potential following an encouraging debut in this sphere at Plumpton. The 5-y-o shapes as though he'll benefit from this step up in trip and he shades preference ahead of in-form rivals Shut That d'Or and Sainte Doctor. Chase debutant El Granjero is also interesting.

The vote goes to I SHUT THAT D'OR who has been flying since November and is taken to continue his rich vein of form.
Class & Speed Card

MORE COKO maintained his unbeaten record when coasting home at Carlisle last month and a double penalty is unlikely to halt his progression, Willie Mullins' charge looks capable of more and he's taken to fend off chief threat Old Cowboy. The son of Blue Bresil should prove more competitive than his latest effort in a class 2 event at Ascot. Drumheller may fare best of the remainder.

Willie Mullins has his first runner at Plumpton in MORE COKO and the Carlisle winner can make it 4-4 with further improvement on the way. Old Cowboy hasn't convinced in the finish the last twice but is the obvious threat for the Moore yard.

Old Cowboy's debut third gives him claims but this looks a good opportunity for MORE COKO to maintain his unbeaten record.

High Fibre and FASOL appear to be the pair to focus on, with the latter readily preferred as he drops in class for his first run since undergoing wind surgery. Paul Nicholls has won two of the last six renewals and appears to have plotted an ideal opportunity for the son of Galileo to strike. High Fibre has speed from the Flat and can give the selection plenty to think about on just his fourth hurdles start. Disguisedlimit and point-to-point winner Ted The Thief are other notable options.

Not nearly as competitive as the numbers suggest and winning-pointer DISGUISEDLIMIT is fancied to build on earlier promise and get off the mark in this sphere. High Fibre fluffed his lines when an odds-on third at Kempton last time out but could still emerge as the main danger, although Fasol also has the form to play a big part too if breathing surgery has the desired effect.

High Fibre and FASOL were both below par when last in action but they may end up fighting this out. The latter gets the vote.

ARCTIC ANGEL posted her best effort over hurdles to date when third at Chepstow on her handicap debut. She may well have finished closer with a more fluent display of jumping and looks on a feasible mark based on that evidence. Les's Jersey Royal was no match for King Of The Lake when second at Wincanton, but the latter has subsequently landed a hat-trick so that form looks strong. Summerleaze is worth noting too.

ARCTIC ANGEL made a reasonably promising start to her handicap career at Chepstow and might prove the answer in a race where few arrive with compelling claims. Summerleaze has been the subject of an interesting trainer change and market support for her would look significant. Seasmoke should strip fitter for last month's Huntingdon run and completes the shortlist.

An open race can go to ARCTIC ANGEL who showed enough at Chepstow last time to suggest that a race like this is within her reach.

PESCATORIUS lost little in defeat when finding only an unexposed rival too strong at Huntingdon 18 days ago. A 1lb nudge up in the ratings may prove inconsequential for Harriet Dickin's inmate and a second career victory could be on the cards. J'habite En France finished behind the selection in third and the six-year-old isn't taken lightly racing off an unchanged mark. Celtic Ned and Taxus Baccata are also noted.

CELTIC NED has dropped in the weights and could have a bigger effort in him over fences now fitted with blinkers. He gets the vote over Pescatorius and J'Habite En France who are closely matched on their recent Huntingdon running.

Last month's Huntingdon handicap where PESCATORIUS finished in front of J'Habite En France could be the key formline.
Class & Speed Card

DIRTY DEN has been well supported on his last two starts and although coming up short on both occasions, this appears to be the ideal opportunity to gain a first success over timber. With the trip and ground ideal, first-time cheekpieces could provide the son of Dragon Dancer with the missing ingredient. Renoir has a very similar profile and is another attractive proposition on just his third start in this discipline. The stable companions Baseline and Sunninghill are others to keep an eye on.

A tight-knit handicap in which the in-form SUNNINGHILL is taken to gain a deserved first win in this sphere at the chief expense of Dirty Den, who also arrives at the top of his game. Handicap-debutants Renoir and Baseline are also in the picture too.

The Hobbs/White yard has been going well of late and BASELINE is narrowly preferred to stablemate Sunninghill.
Class & Speed Card

A 276-day absence proved no barrier to success for Hara Kiri when he completed a hat-trick at Leicester in December. Olly Murphy's lightly-raced eight-year-old must enter calculations, but a 7lb higher mark could leave him vulnerable. With that in mind, it could be worth chancing the downgraded BALHAMBAR, who looked progressive prior to his below-par 10th at Musselburgh. Golden Maverick and Klic Boum are others to consider.

A trappy event made even trickier by the obvious lack of pace. Bumper winner and dual hurdles scorer MOON CHIME doesn't lack for speed at this level, and he could be worth another chance off a fair handicap mark. Hara Kiri arrives with obvious claims chasing a four-timer, while Balhambar has chased home some decent horses this season and despite disappointing on his latest start, is entitled to plenty of respect back down in grade.

The form of GOLDEN MAVERICK's latest Carlisle win has since been boosted and he is taken to follow up for last year's winning stable.
Class & Speed Card

A spin on the Flat when finishing fourth at Wolverhampton 13 days ago should have put EARLY MORNING DEW spot-on for this return to hurdles. The nine-year-old is lurking on an attractive mark and a breakthrough victory in this discipline looms. Graham hasn't cut much ice in three timber outings to date, but he enters handicaps off a workable-looking rating. The son of Time Test is feared most, ahead of Character Testing.

Having raced off a BHA mark of 80 on the Flat, GRAHAM is an interesting contender rated only 93 for his handicap hurdle debut and he may be able to leave behind the form he has shown in maiden hurdles now back on a sounder surface. He's worth a market check, as is Early Morning Dew who is potentially well-treated returning to this sphere for the first time for current connections. Lady Caro set a good gallop when narrowly denied at Hereford in December, and she's a player if back on song.

Early Morning Dew is potentially well treated but the vote goes to GRAHAM, who starts handicap life on a sensible mark.
Class & Speed Card

The combination of a longer trip and first-time blinkers proved just the trick for last month's 3m5f Bangor winner LASKALIN and there may be more to come. A 7lb higher rating looks workable for Venetia Williams' veteran and an eighth career victory could be on the cards. The biggest threat may emerge from Inis Oirr, who is racing off an attractive mark, while a 2lb nudge up in the ratings shouldn't prevent Lingfield runner-up Bells Of Peterboro going well again either.

INIS OIRR got no further than the first at Mussleburgh last time out but he has slipped in the weights and is fancied to bounce back in style for his in-form yard. Bangor scorer Laskalin rates the obvious threat, although Bells of Peterboro and Musical Slave can both have a say too.

His attempt to defend his Edinburgh National crown five weeks ago did not last long but INIS OIRR remains on a good mark.
Class & Speed Card

NON STOP found only a course specialist too strong at Plumpton 28 days ago and this looks a suitable opportunity for the six-year-old to break his duck over fences. Joe Tizzard's charge makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark and he's taken to fend off chase debutant Dancing In Brazil. The Blue Bresil gelding arrives on the back of a solid hurdles third at Huntingdon and a similar performance will likely see him go close. The downgraded Jetronic is also noted.

Chase debutants DANCING IN BRAZIL and Intrepide Sud may well come to the fore, assuming that they both get into a good rhythm jumping-wise. The latter has a bit to prove having pulled up in handicap hurdles the last twice but perhaps this change of vocation will help him get back on the right path. That said, Dancing In Brazil arrives here on the back of a couple of creditable efforts and he is marginally preferred. Non Stop is the clear pick of those with experience over fences.

Preference is for NON STOP (nap) who has twice finished runner-up off this mark over fences. He wouldn't need much more to win this.
Class & Speed Card

RICKETY BRIDGE, a creditable second in a class 2 series qualifier at Chepstow last month, is readily suggested as the one to be with as he drops in class. Despereaux rounded last year off in good form and can figure despite being being held off this mark at Taunton last time out. La Dolce Dolly is the least exposed of these in handicaps and could be the surprise package on these terms.

None of these can be ruled out but LA DOLCE DOLLY took a step forward on her first go in handicaps when fourth at Market Rasen and can now add to her pointing success with her stamina unlocked more. Paul Nicholls' lightly-raced Chepsttow runner-up Rickety Bridge is feared most, although Limerick Leader, Desperaux and Warranty all command plenty of respect too in an intriguing contest.

Warranty looks set to go well but DESPEREAUX (nap) can resume his progress back down in grade.
Class & Speed Card

Having filled the runner-up spot on his last two outings, WEAVER'S ANSWER looks ready to strike. Tim Vaughan's charge finished 37 lengths clear of the third at Lingfield last time out and a 2lb nudge up in the ratings may prove inconsequential. Skin Full arrives on the back of a close-up second at Doncaster and he is unlikely to be far away with a similar performance, while Moor End is a possible threat if judged on his narrow defeat at Warwick in January.

SKIN FULL is potentially well handicapped and an obvious choice. Ca Plane Pour Moi and Weaver's Answer are others to consider.

Preference is for CA PLANE POUR MOI, who came from a long way off the pace to take third at Doncaster last month.
Class & Speed Card

CHICAGO STORM has built up enough credit to suggest that a recent below-par effort over 2m at Warwick was no more than a blip and he would have very strong claims in this weak event if back on song. Wolfspear has slipped to a mark just 1lb above when he last won and he warrants respect for an in-form yard, while Miss Kassiopi and Dish Of The Day are also considered.

CHICAGO STORM's stamina isn't assured but he's made a fine start to life with Daisy Hitchins and gets the vote. Ted's Friend hasn't fired the last twice but is well treated if staging a revival.

Back on better ground and with headgear on for the first time MISS KASSIOPI is taken to get off the mark on her handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

HAVAILA likes a stamina test and a first-time hood could be instrumental in the six-year-old doubling his tally over fences. Drying ground would be a slight concern, but the son of Le Havre otherwise holds a major chance off just 4lb higher for his Lingfield success in January. Basford ran a couple of nice races in defeat before a disappointing latest effort at Market Rasen and he looks the main threat, ahead of I See You Well.

Preference is for HAVAILA, who opened his account in this sphere at Lingfield on penultimate start and shaped as if still in good form despite pulling hard when third back there since. A first-time hood should help him settle and he can get the better of Basford, who has taken to fences quite well this season but needs to leave behind a below-par effort at Market Rasen last week.

Fitting a hood could be a good move for HAVAILA and he gets the vote ahead of Basford who also wears new headgear.
Class & Speed Card

SIAM PARK shaped with promise when finishing runner-up over 2m2f here last month and, eased in trip, he gets the nod to go one place better this time around. Course winner My Rockstar was last seen finishing second over this track and trip and he must enter calculations. Fast Buck is another to consider fitted with cheekpieces for the first time.

This should go to SIAM PARK, who put in a good round of jumping when runner-up on his chase debut here last month and improvement should be forthcoming. No But I Will took a step back in the right direction over 23f here last time and he could be a threat if able to build on that now dropped back in trip, while Jaipaletemps is likely to come good for the Pipe yard before long and he is worth a second look off a reduced mark.

This looks a good opportunity for SIAM PARK (nap), who was a good second here on last month's chasing debut.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a trappy affair so only a tentative vote goes to VIROFLAY. He was last seen fairly bolting up in a point-to-point and commands the utmost respect back in this sphere. Go Sacre Go found only one rival too good over 3m1f at Wincanton last time out and he merits respect in a bid to go one place better, while Caldwell Diamond is another to consider.

VIROFLAY warmed up for this with an easy point win last month and can make it third time lucky in hunters. Go Sacre Go will be a threat if reproducing the form of his comeback second at Wincanton. Barton Snow may prove best of the rest.

Preference is for CALDWELL DIAMOND who earned an RPR of 126 when winning over hurdles for Gordon Elliott and who is 1-1 in points.
Class & Speed Card

The still low-mileage SMUGGLERS HAVEN impressed when landing the second leg of a brace of wins with a smooth effort over C&D most recently and has strong credentials back fresh on the back of a break. Lumi Plugin has been knocking on the door of late and is another solid contender back in trip despite failing to justify favouritism over 3m2f here last month. Two To Tango completes the shortlist.

There's a couple in here who need to be ridden positively, and that could set the race up for the more patiently handled LUMI PLUGIN who has been knocking on the door of victory. Course-winner A Tickatickatiming merits plenty respect from her falling handicap mark, while Smugglers Haven remains of interest in her bid for a hat-trick. On first run since wind surgery, Two To Tango is also a player if bouncing back from a disappointing effort.

The choice is LUMI PLUGIN\ who has been placed over 1m7f and 3m1f on his last two starts and may well be ideally suited by this trip.
Class & Speed Card

GRENARDIER lost little in defeat when finishing runner-up over 2m at Ludlow last time out and, in what looks an ordinary affair on paper, he gets the vote to make a winning start to life in handicaps. Albert Park has the ability to feature in a race of this nature and he looks the main danger to the selection, while Kintaro is another for the shortlist.

KINTARO probably found 3m too much of a test last time and is better judged on his C&D effort in November. He was in the process of running creditably when departing at the second-last here on that occasion and is now 7 lb lower in the weights. Handicap debutant Grenardier appears to be gradually finding his feet and rates the main danger ahead of another contesting a handicap for the first time, namely Whatmakes Honey B.

It's unlikely handicap newcomer GRENARDIER will be found a better opening. Mach Ten also has a bit of potential.
Class & Speed Card

MARKET HOUSE showed a likeable attitude when scoring over this track and trip last week and he should be tough to stop with a repeat of that effort, for all that a 5lb penalty requires more. C&D winner Flying Scotsman looks the main danger to the selection although he was fourth behind the selection last time and he has a bit to find. Night Bear looks the pick of the remainder.

MARKET HOUSE can make light of 5 lb penalty for last Tuesday's C&D win. Flying Scotsman was over 4 lengths back in fourth on that occasion but can get closer on the revised terms and give James Owen's charge most to do.

It's hard to get away from last Tuesday's C&D winner MARKET HOUSE under the penalty, with Night Bear fancied to chase him home.
