(9) Tilsworth Silver 150/1, Far too free down the field in a classified race at Kempton most recent; no worthwhile form to speak of.
Record of 0-16 and he's finished ahead of only four rivals in his last five starts.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Alashos finished a close fourth over 6f at Kempton earlier in the month and has his first attempt at this distance, so he is one to note. However, GLOBAL WARNING took a step back in the right direction when just touched off over track and trip last month and is just 2lb higher. The booking of Rossa Ryan is noteworthy and he looks the one to side with. Semser completes the shortlist.

A competitive race in which the vote goes to the reliable KONDRATIEV WAVE, who battled well when dead-heating over C&D last month.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

It is interesting that John McConnell sends Bold Reflection over for what will be her first run since finishing down the field in a Grade 3 bumper at Punchestown back in April 2023. However, the vote goes to point-to-point winner QUEENS SECRET, who is taken to make a winning Rules debut in what doesn't appear to be a contest with much depth. Maiori is entitled to step forward from his fourth at Ayr earlier in the month.

The standard set by those with hurdling experience isn't a great one and this could therefore go to point winner QUEENS SECRET.

Unexposed over 7f and she forced a dead-heat over C&D last time; interesting contender.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Miss Moonshine sprung a 33/1 surprise when forcing a dead-heat to score over C&D on her most recent outing and is respected, but TASKHEER is the more appealing option. Daniel Steele's charge has been thereabouts in classified stakes the last twice, finishing second and third, and remains on a workable rating back in handicap company. Gundogan ran below-par when fourth at Southwell, but could bounce back to have a say.

The vote goes to MISS MOONSHINE, who is unexposed at this trip and did well to force a dead-heat over C&D last month.

LELANT, who is a previous C&D winner, was having his third run in pretty quick succession when he failed to complete a hat-trick last time out and could bounce back now he has been given more time. Chief Black Robe and Boys Of Wexford are also better than they managed to show on their latest starts and would have to be of interest if supported in the betting. Line Of Descent completes the shortlist.

Sean Bowen's mount LELANT (nap) was in excellent form in autumn (including C&D win) and a subsequent heavy-ground defeat is overlooked.

SCOTTISH KING backed up his Market Rasen victory at Plumpton earlier this month and the 10-year-old has every chance of landing a hat-trick following a 2lb rise for that success. Didntgotwenty won in fine style on his third start over fences at Musselburgh and is likely to enter calculations, while West Lawn is capable of being in the mix after her second at Catterick.

Preference is for the progressive SCOTTISH KING, who showed a good attitude when going in at Plumpton and can now complete a hat-trick.

NAVAL TRIBUTE relished the step up in distance when sporting first-time cheekpieces to get off the mark on handicap debut at Kempton and a 3lb rise might prove to be lenient. The extra furlong could unlock further improvement and he looks the one to be on. Three-time course winner Tortured Soul produced a better effort when second at Kempton last week and is considered, while Robbo is far from out of it either.

Preference is for ten-time AW winner TORTURED SOUL who had a near-miss off this mark at Kempton last week.

The Brickey Ranger was a surprise winner over C&D on his debut run for Sarah-Jane Davies but he did it well enough to suggest he can go close under a 7lb penalty. However, the booking of Sean Bowen for the ride on MCGRATH FROM CLUNE is a significant indicator of intent from his connections and this previous course-and-distance winner looks well placed to exploit a lenient current mark. Chestnut Pete and Blackijo Dagrostis are other strong contenders.

Chestnut Pete is respected in his follow up bid, but preference is for MCGRATH FROM CLUNE with Sean Bowen booked.

However, KERNIE D'AIRY, who was pitched into a Listed bumper on her debut for Jamie Snowden, is equally intriguing and could be worth chancing. Having previously won a bumper in France, this 155,000-pound purchase can be expected to get better with experience. Johnny's Belle and Isabella Islay also warrant betting checks.

Beaune failed to supplement his triumph over track and trip when second at Southwell next time, but that was still a good effort and he is respected dropping to this level. Everest outran odds of 66/1 when third over two furlongs shorter here last month and could have a say, but three-time C&D scorer PABLO PRINCE is the one. Karen Jewell's gelding only found one too good at Chelmsford on his latest outing and looks well placed to go one better.

Several have possibilities but NYMPHAEA gets the vote ahead of Belle Of Kt and Pablo Prince.

With most of these having questions to answer, it is very hard to oppose BEST NIGHT. David Pipe's mare returned to winning ways at Huntingdon a couple of weeks ago and a 4lb rise may not be enough to stop her from following up. Madame De Labrunie could prove to be the main threat based on her Taunton third two starts ago, while Arnie Moon is next best.

Best Night is feared off 4lb higher, but ARNIE MOON has shaped well of late and could do better now switched to handicaps.

Cold Henry was a game winner over an extended 3m1f at Catterick and may well cope with the 5lb rise imposed. However, he has a tendency to jump left and dropping in trip could catch him out. Therefore, the less-exposed ANOTHER HIGH FIVE could be a more rewarding option, given he has bags of scope for progression on just his second start in a handicap. Drop Kick, Gardener and So Many Roads are others to bear in mind.

This can go the way of LES'S LEGACY, who took this in 2025 and looks primed for another bold showing in his bid for a fifth course win.

BIG JOHN WAYNE stepped forward from his return to action on chase debut at Ayr when finishing third at the same venue last time. The eight-year-old is likely to improve again from that effort and has an ideal opportunity to get off the mark. Casual Observer finished second on his chasing bow at Bangor and looks the obvious threat to the selection. Ned Tanner appears best of the remainder.

Lambourn raider CASUAL OBSERVER (nap) is taken to build on last month's chase debut second at Bangor and account for Big John Wayne.

Phoenix Moon's record over C&D entitles her to respect but PROFIT STREET (nap) showed this mark was within range here last week.

WESTPORT didn't see a racecourse as a juvenile. However, given his price tag of 120,000gns as a foal rose to 270,000gns as a yearling, it's fair to say some lofty expectations have been held of him. This looks a winnable race for his belated introduction and the son of Blue Point could be one to follow if all goes well here. Shavkat, Comprador and Caviar Cowboy set the standard from those with experience and form an interesting shortlist for future reference.

WHISKEY SUNRISE put in a career best when a nose second over C&D earlier in the year and a 1lb rise for that effort may not be enough to stop him from going one better on this occasion. Homme De Fer was third that day and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Timely Affair and Unknown Journey are others to note.

Preference is for HOMME DE FER whose form figures of 141333 since December include a strong-finishing third at Chelmsford last month.

DESIDERATA proved this is his level with a dominant effort to win under Billy Loughnane at Wolverhampton last week. As he stays further, the trip shouldn't be an issue for the Thomas Faulkner-trained six-year-old and he could again be tough to overhaul with Loughnane retained. Celebrating Ethel also won a similar event last time out and warrants close inspection in this company. Haveagobeau, Myna and Hijo De La Luna help to make this competitive for the grade.

The style of racing here should suit the quirky DESIDERATA. He can defy a penalty at the main expense of Myna.

Finished behind Roadlesstravelled at Southwell on return to the Flat.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

CONSTITUTION HILL is a proven crowd pleaser with the demolition job he provided on his Flat debut at Southwell last month being extremely impressive and the 7lb penalty is of little concern for Nicky Henderson's superstar. Classical Allusion cosily landed a maiden at the same venue on his racecourse bow last September. With improvement likely, Andrew Balding's four-year-old is an obvious danger. His stablemate Serviceman and Roadlesstravelled are each-way alternatives.

Star attraction CONSTITUTION HILL appears set to make it 2-2 on the Flat, en route to Group targets.

There are a couple of C&D winners in here and KNIGHT TEMPLAR is the most interesting of them. He put a disappointing Lingfield effort behind him when finishing a solid second at Southwell and the five-year-old has since won over hurdles. Naasma is the other previous track-and-trip winner and she has performed well in defeat at Lingfield this year. Sword Of Wessex is another to take seriously.

The new trip may enable SWORD OF WESSEX to take advantage of a reduced mark and open his account. Knight Templar is feared most.

MUMAYAZ can send his supporters home smiling and looks the clear pick of Tony Carroll's pair now tried in first-time blinkers following an improved Wolverhampton second. Stable companion Terries Royale showed a bit more at the Midlands venue latest and commands respect, while it'll be interesting to see what the market makes of course scorer Mr Ubiquitous and Safari Dream on their return to action.

More questions than answers. MUMAYAZ, who's well treated in first-time blinkers, gets the tentative vote.
