MOON OVER THE SEA has been knocking on the door on the all-weather of late and he could be poised to strike. A repeat of the seven-year-old's latest third at Wolverhampton may prove sufficient on this switch to turf and he gets the nod over Bohemian Breeze. The son of Galileo arrives on the back of a respectable fourth at Chelmsford and Jude Fernandes claims a handy 7lb. Marinakis is best of the rest.

The return to Bath puts ENDOFASTORM and Moon Over The Sea front of the shortlist, ahead of Bohemian Breeze.

BALGOWAN was beaten just under a length into third on his return to the fray here a month ago and, if he takes a step forward for that encouraging effort, he might be able to get back to winning ways. Charles Morin is a course scorer who commands plenty of respect on the back of his close-up fifth in that race, while Sapphire Sirocco is next best.

Fairly useful hurdler LARAVIE will be suited by this move up in trip and could be on a good mark for her Flat handicap debut.

Having finished third in a competitive class 4 over 1m4f at Lingfield earlier this month, Party Island must enter calculations in his current form. However, the nine-year-old isn't sure to prove as effective dropping back in trip and RATING shades the vote. Grace Harris' mare reappeared with a third over a mile here recently and any improvement may see her collect. Raintown is also worth a second look easing in class.

Kept to Bath, solid RATING may build on her reappearance effort and register a first success on turf. Party Island is second pick.

TRAVEL AGENT might take a bit of beating here. A C&D winner last summer, Adam Kirby's charge was back in the winning groove at Wolverhampton 10 days ago and the relatively quick turnaround suggests he's bounced out of that race in good nick. Lequinto heads the list of dangers from Maharajas Express, who has an absence to overcome but is a capable type.

This can go to TRAVEL AGENT (nap), who looked in excellent nick at Wolverhampton ten days ago and also likes this track.

Global Success offered enough encouragement on her opening fifth here to suggest that she can make her mark at this level and looks the one to beat. That said, there are some intriguing newcomers on show, with LEUCOTHEA topping the bill. Richard Hannon's filly is a half-sister to juvenile winner Wateen and she may take all the beating if sharing the same ability. Fellow debutant Crown Of Ivy is also noted.

Judged on breeding and other factors, LEUCOTHEA is a particularly interesting type among the newcomers. Crown Of Ivy is second pick.

Today's longer trip will suit TICKER TAPE but newcomers Lady Magu and Madrisa wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary.

SOLAR INVINCIBLE returned to winning ways over this course and distance earlier in the month and a 4lb rise for that success may not be enough to stop him from following up. That said, Comic Strip made a pleasing return when third at Southwell recently and could give the selection plenty to think about. Others to note are Saucy Jane, Angel Numbers and Guernsey Angel.

With further improvement possible in the retained cheekpieces, SOLAR INVINCIBLE is taken to follow up his C&D success.

EL MATADOR wasn't disgraced in some competitive class 2 handicaps towards the end of his three-year-old campaign and a subsequent gelding operation could unlock some improvement. Ralph Beckett's charge makes plenty of appeal dropping in class and market support would increase confidence on this return to action. Silver Trumpet has the benefit of a recent run when fourth at Southwell and he's feared most, ahead of Port Road.

The well-related EL MATADOR has much the most potential of these. Silver Trumpet rates the main danger.

Grace Harris holds a solid hand with THE FEMININE URGE (peferred) and So Smart.

Francisco arrives on the back of a fair third at Chelmsford and a 1lb ease in the ratings can only help. However, GLADIADORA supplemented a triumph at Southwell with a narrow defeat at Nottingham and, despite a 2lb rise in the ratings, she might still be well treated. Cooramook returned to form when finishing fourth at Wolverhampton and completes the shortlist.

Cooramook is worth a second look but GLADIADORA arrives at the top of her game and appeals as the safest option.

LTO Selection:hiden content,

Aedhmar was sent off favourite when a close third at Cork and sets a good standard, but LIVENKA is fancied to make a winning introduction. She is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Babouche and Group 2 winner Zarinsk, both of whom won at the first time of asking for Ger Lyons. Victorious is a half-sister to last season's smart juvenile Sugar Island, a Group Three winner over 1m for Aidan O'Brien, while Beibhinn is from a good family and represents a stable that couldn't be in better form.

Cork third Aedhmar has the experience but LIVENKA is from a smart family that has a good record first-time out

Son Of Man accounted for Wonder when winning over C&D earlier in the month and both are likely to be in the mix once again. That said, marginal preference is for ADJUVANT, who arrives here well handicapped and put in a promising display when third on his seasonal return at Southwell a couple of weeks ago. Skibo and Way Of Life are also noted.

Ralph Beckett's SKIBO made a promising start to life in handicaps and can make a winning return with this step up in trip rating a plus

Having supplemented some creditable all-weather performances with a comprehensive win at Bath earlier this month, Volendam shouldn't be far away. However, a 7lb rise could leave the four-year-old vulnerable and it might be ALAZWAR's turn to strike. Archie Watson's gelding arrives on the back a good second at Lingfield and a repeat may be sufficient. Reopposing winner No Knee Never may also feature along with Book Of Life.

The handicapper has dropped RAINWATER another 2lb since he met trouble in running at Southwell and he is preferred to No Knee Never.

The Hartys won this race two years ago and a chance is taken on bottom-weight FONTAINE KHALED. She has been well held in a couple of handicap starts on a soft surface this season, but her debut run at the Curragh last summer was encouraging and this race may have been a target for some time. At the head of the weights, handicap debutant Bad Boy Rizz has to enter calculations following a consistent juvenile campaign, which culminated with a win over 5f at Navan. Allsortz won over this trip on the all-weather earlier in the month and that form has since been franked.

The Hartys won this race two years ago and maybe they've had an eye on it for FONTAINE KHALED who has a feather weight to carry.

SHAYHANA finished second of three on her racecourse debut in November and she should be much wiser now. The four-year-old could find enough improvement to fend off Littlecote, who receives a a hefty weight-for-age allowance. Andrew Balding's filly has filled the runner-up berth on both outings this year and isn't taken lightly. Market support for newcomer Electric Arc, a half-sister to Listed winner Novakai, would be interesting.

This looks to be a good opportunity for LITTLECOTE to land her first race. She may have most to fear from Electric Arc.

Eddie Lynam looks to have a strong hand here, with the six-time winner Keke and UK import Headmaster the most interesting of his trio. That said, handicap-debutant HOWD'YADOIT gets the nod. He beat 20 rivals when winning the valuable Ballyhane Stakes over course and distance last season and it'll be disappointing if he's not involved towards the business end. In truth, a case can be made for many others, with Tango Flare and Valiant Force likely to have plenty of supporters. A fine second when last seen at Newcastle on Good Friday, Indigo Dream is another leading hope.

Former C&D winner HEAVENLY POWER is 4lb below his last win and he should be sharper for his comeback run at the Curragh

The removal of blinkers didn't stop EPICTETUS from posting another creditable effort at Lingfield most recently. The son of Kingman shaped as if a return to further could prove beneficial and he edges the vote over Lordsbridge Blu. The six-year-old did well to grab the silver medal having been anchored in rear over C&D last month and another bold bid is forecast. Renesmee is the pick of the remainder.

This can go to ECHALAR (nap) who looks ready to strike following an improved run for his new yard last time out.

Having posted two creditable efforts on his final two starts for Johnny Murtagh last year, this could prove a suitable opportunity for VIDMIYR to make a winning stable bow. Now under the tutelage of Jennie Candlish, the three-year-old boasts an official rating of 75 and he may prove hard to beat. Imelda offered plenty to work with when second over C&D and she may give the selection most to think about, ahead of Clementines Star.

Imelda made a promising debut over C&D this month but VIDMIYR has a good chance if judged on his Irish 2yo form.

A dual winner of this race, Moss Tucker returns from a lengthy absence and it'll be interesting to see how he fares. However, two from two at this course, BUCANERO FUERTE is the selection. While failing to fire at Cork recently, he probably wasn't in love with the soft ground there and can be expected to take a considerable step forward from that comeback effort. The 110-rated Mission Central warrants the utmost respect, but he could be vulnerable on his return. Fahrenheit Seven and Getreadytorumble are UK raiders and both look to have strong claims, while King Cuan and Cardiff By The Sea are others of interest.

The top-rated BUCANERO FUERTE should be much sharper for his comeback run at Cork and he is taken to get back to winning ways

SHES GOT THE BLUES looks the safe play in a trappy handicap for punters to solve. She outran odds of 10/1 when beaten a short-head second at Southwell latest and might not need to improve much on that effort in order to strike. Electrocution commands respect as a previous C&D winner and it's worth keeping an eye on Giles Glory too.

It might be worth chancing SIRHANA, who took a step in the right direction when fifth at Southwell last month.

FELIX GUIDO is a fascinating runner here. Joseph O'Brien seemed to be happy with his mark when asked about him at a recent stable tour. The Starspangledbanner colt began his career in Poland, winning all three starts, and may have the potential to be better than a handicapper. Trojan Warrior didn't make much impact on his return in a Guineas trial at Leopardstown after missing the kick and getting hampered turning for home. The form of his maiden win has worked out well and he's capable of better tried in cheekpieces. Alphecca is next best.

Held in good regard by his stable, HOW'STHEBAI should do well in handicaps this term and is interesting off bottom weight

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
