13:30 Ludlow Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Magical Maggie has proved somewhat underwhelming in both appearances since her ready success at Uttoxeter in October and she may be worth taking on. GAYE LEGACY ran her best race to date when just denied at Warwick last month and a reproduction of that effort may suffice. Stopherandgo has a 7lb winner's penalty to contend with having won on her second start over hurdles at Wincanton in March, but the six-year-old may have more to offer and shouldn't be underestimated.

The progressive GAYE LEGACY looks well placed to open her account. Stopherandgo was full value for her Wincanton win and is set for another big run under a penalty. Magical Maggie could bounce back to form after a break/dropped in class, while By Pass may find a small race having showed aptitude for hurdling.

Another chance is given to MAGICAL MAGGIE, who has a point to prove but looked a good prospect on her hurdling debut in the autumn.

LTO Selection:

14:00 Ludlow Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A 2lb rise for LA RENOMMEE's C&D triumph last month could prove lenient and Dr Richard Newland's mare is hard to oppose. Fortunes Melody finished just behind in second on that occasion, but looked flattered by her proximity to the winner and a 3lb pull on the official ratings may not be enough to reverse the form. Therefore, Walk In Clover, who was far from disgraced when runner-up in a novice chase here in February, is feared most.

WALK IN CLOVER looked to take a step forward when runner-up over C&D last time and can go one better now reverting to handicap company off a handy-looking mark. La Renommee beat a few of these over C&D last month and is rated next best ahead of the consistent Fortunes Melody.

The rematch between La Renommee, Fortunes Melody and Cotton End looks tight. WALK IN CLOVER is an interesting alternative.

LTO Selection:

14:15 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

D DAY ODETTE has benefited from stepping back up in trip on her last couple of starts, winning here over 1m2f before finishing third when tried over an extra furlong at Kempton. She tackles 1m4f for the first time and that may yield further improvement from the daughter of Lawman. Miss Down Under went up 11lb for a brace of victories at Sandown and Ffos Las in September and she is feared most, while Rikona is capable of better than her most recent effort at this track.

None of the quartet can be ruled out but the vote goes to ARENAS DEL TIEMPO who should be spot on after her recent fifth here following an absence and figures on an attractive mark. In-form D Day Odette rates the pick of the Kevin Philippart de Foy-trained duo and appeals as the one to chase her home.

The most solid option is D DAY ODETTE, who won here on her penultimate run before a keeping-on third behind an improver at Kempton.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SPACE VOYAGE has proved a different proposition in novice hurdles since being ridden more prominently and Olly Murphy's mare looks capable of completing a hat-trick. Hercules Morse got off the mark at the third time of asking when winning a maiden hurdle at Ffos Las in January and he looks the selection's biggest threat. Guy has some useful chase form to his name, but switches to the smaller obstacles for the first time since 2019 and may come up short.

SPACE VOYAGE seems to know where the winning post is and is taken to enhance her already impressive strike-rate. Fellow hurdle winner Hercules Morse may give Olly Murphy's mare most to think about.

Olly Murphy's mare SPACE VOYAGE battled well to complete a double at Huntingdon last month and might be the answer here.

LTO Selection:

14:45 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The well-bred SEA FLAWLESS made the perfect start to her career at Newcastle in February, when shrugging off some greenness to put the race to bed. She has to give all of her rivals 2lb, but the manner of that performance suggested better things were on the horizon and it would be no surprise if the four-year-old landed this with the minimum of fuss. Explorers Way is capable of improving from his first run for Brian Ellison here last month, while Capstan should prove a lot happier back on the level, having been pulled up at Newbury when last seen.

SEA FLAWLESS looked a good prospect when going in at the first time of asking at Newcastle and is strongly fancied to defy her penalty and make it 2-2. Old Harrovian has a long absence to overcome but, like the selection, is by Sea The Stars and has more to come so appeals as the one for second spot.

Preference is for SEA FLAWLESS, who won in good style at Newcastle and has plenty of scope for progress on this step up in trip.

LTO Selection:

15:00 Ludlow Handicap Chase (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

BOBHOPEORNOHOPE won over C&D two starts ago and was not disgraced when fourth in a valuable event at Kempton last time. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give him a big chance here. The hat-trick seeking Dibble Decker is an obvious threat, although he will need to find some improvement to defy a career-high mark. Annsam and Le Cameleon are others who make the shortlist.

DIBBLE DECKER's form is on an upward curve and Tom Lacey's low-mileage 7-y-o is taken to complete a hat-trick now he steps up in trip at the chief expense of course-winner Annsam, who is worth another chance having been ridden too aggressively in front when seventh at Kempton last time. Good Boy Bobby is another to consider off a reduced mark along with C&D scorer Bobhopeornohope.

Class-dropper ANNSAM is selected in the hope he can run this field ragged from the front.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MARGARET'S FUCHSIA has filled the runner-up spot on her last two outings, including on handicap debut at Newcastle latest, and the switch of headgear, from cheekpieces to blinkers, may help her to go one better. Outrace struck up a great partnership with Tyrese Cameron throughout the winter months and the drop back to a mile after tackling 1m2f last time is likely to be in his favour, while Mickey Mongoose and Lady Marie appear best of the remainder.

MARGARET'S FUCHSIA has taken a step forward with each of her four runs to date and is fancied to open her account on the back of her recent Newcastle second now blinkers replace the cheekpieces. In-form Outrace seems sure to have a say and is next on the list, although Mickey Mongoose is also weighted to have a say if breathing surgery has the desired effect.

The vote goes to OUTRACE, who has done well in handicaps since December and could resume his progress on this drop back in trip/grade.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HARDY FELLA chased home a useful rival, who has won again subsequently, when second at Wincanton a month ago and that form suggests that an opening mark of 114 may underestimate the six-year-old. Regal Renaissance got off the mark over C&D when last seen and could make the frame once again, while Heros and Norley are the pick of the remaining field.

HARDY FELLA found only subsequent Kempton-winner Outlaw Peter too good back from a break at Wincanton last month and looks set for a big run on his handicap debut. This looks a strong race for the grade though and solid cases can also be made for Heros, Thruthelookinglass and Judical Law.

Handicap debutant HARDY FELLA (nap) chased home a subsequent Class 2 handicap winner last month and has scope for further improvement.

15:45 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

GONE is best excused her final run of last season when finishing down the field at Leicester in October and she had previously looked a progressive sort. Charlie Johnston's inmate won on her penultimate appearance at Yarmouth two weeks earlier and the switch to the Polytrack shouldn't hinder her chances. Phoenix Glow may have more to offer now upped to 7f again and is feared most, ahead of My Roxanne, who showed a bit more spark when fourth at Newcastle recently.

PHOENIX GLOW remains on a good mark and could double her tally back down in grade. Star of Cotai and Gone are a couple of others to consider.

Preference is for STAR OF COTAI, who made a promising start in handicaps when a front-running third over C&D last Monday.

16:00 Ludlow Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PATIENT DREAM arrives in search of a hat-trick of victories having just held on over C&D in February. The five-year-old is likely to have more to offer and gets the vote to continue his fine run of form, despite a 6lb rise for that latest success. Herecomeshogan benefited from coming back in distance last year, winning two of his last three outings, and he commands plenty of respect on his first start since October. Dom Perry and Scherbobalob are others who could take a step forward on what they have achieved to date.

DOM PERRY made a solid start to his handicap career when third at Newbury last time and can deny Patient Dream a hat-trick. Scherbobalob looked to be going okay when unseating 3 out on his recent Bangor handicap debut and may prove best of the remainder.

The combination of front-running tactics and addition of cheekpieces paid dividends for PATIENT DREAM in February, and he gets the nod.

LTO Selection:

16:15 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Navy Drums landed the spoils once more over 6f here last month and is sure to prove popular in his current form. However, the five-year-old does have another 3lb rise to contend with, so it could be worth taking a chance on SHOWDIEMLAD. Lydia Richards' charge wasn't disgraced when finishing fifth in a classified stakes contest at this venue last Monday and he returns to handicaps off what looks a fair mark. Purple Poppy makes most appeal of the remainder.

This won't take much winning and NAVY DRUMS has a good chance in his hat-trick bid. Dutugamunu wasn't seen to best effect here on Wednesday and can go well under Oisin Murphy. Showdiemlad completes the shortlist.

Top of the list is hat-trick seeker NAVY DRUMS, who has won here in his last two starts and is a big player again back up in trip.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Ludlow Hunter Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FIX AT ALL had been struggling in handicaps before his hunters' chase debut over C&D, when benefiting from a patient ride as he ran on well in the closing stages. A repeat of that performance would make him tough to oppose today. If the selection happens to underperform, Diligent may pick up the pieces following his second at Wincanton last time. Arthur's Sixpence completes the shortlist.

A few of these come with question marks against them so this looks an excellent opportunity for DILIGENT to build on his recent Wincanton hunter chase second and open his account for his current yard. Former-winner Zamparelli could emerge as the chief threat if back on song, with Fix At All also not discounted if backing up his recent C&D success.

This can go to DILIGENT, who has a very good strike-rate over the last couple of years and posted a good effort when second last month.

LTO Selection:

16:45 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

COVERT MISSION has made the frame on his last couple of starts and those performances suggest that he could be hard to beat in a race of this nature. Ower Starlight won at Kempton a month ago and may prove to be the main threat to the selection, despite a 3lb rise in the ratings. Others to note are Cap D'Antibes and Hul Ah Bah Loo.

HUL AH BAH LOO does need things to fall right to some extent but he's going through a good spell at present and is taken to mow down the reliable Covert Mission towards the finish. Last month's Kempton scorer Ower Starlight is another who should have a part to play.

The vote goes to OWER STARLIGHT, who justified favouritism at Kempton last time and a 3lb rise for that comfortable success looks fair.

SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD racked up a double with an impressive victory at Kempton last week and a 5lb penalty for that success may not be enough to stop him from making it a hat-trick here. Porfin filled second place off this mark over C&D last time and could repeat that achievement, while Bobby On The Beat and Come On Girl are the pick of the remainder.

In his current mood a 5 lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD completing a hat-trick. Hit Mac has dropped to the same mark as when scoring at Wolverhampton in January and can fight it out for minor honours with C&D specialist Come On Girl.

This can go to hat-trick seeker SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD (nap), who looks well treated under a penalty for his easy win at Kempton last week.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Heatherdown Hero and Isle of Wolves are better known for their exploits over further and, although they merit respect on this drop in trip to 1m2f, it may be worth taking the duo on with WESTERN BEAT. The five-year-old won over C&D on his penultimate start in January and he wasn't disgraced when finishing fourth at Chelmsford last month. The returning pair of Fifty Sent and Alhabor are others to consider in what looks a wide-open contest.

ISLE OF WOLVES fluffed his lines at Southwell last time but is worth another chance having looked ready to strike on his previous outing. Heatherdown Hero is a on a fair mark starting out for a new yard and is another to consider, with Trailblazer and Western Beat best of the others.

Much better off with Western Beat than when fourth behind her over C&D in January, TRAILBLAZER is fancied to turn the tables.

18:00 Newcastle Stakes (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ELSHAAMEQ posted a much more encouraging display when runner-up over C&D in October and, open to further progress after only two starts, Kevin Frost's four-year-old may take some stopping here. Wadacre Gomez dead-heated for second at Kempton last month and, with fitness assured, he's feared most now stepped up in trip to 1m2f. Ironopolis ran his best race to date when staying on into third over this track and trip in September and it's very possible that the son of Gleneagles could find some improvement with first-time cheekpieces now applied.

DOUBLE OBAN was too green to do himself justice at Chelmsford on debut and he doesn't have to improve much to take this. Ironopolis rates the main threat on these terms, though Captain Potter is a newcomer to note.

Slight preference is for IRONOPOLIS, ahead of Wadacre Gomez. A few others also have clear possibilities in a fairly tight race.

LTO Selection:

18:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

VICTORIA FALLS has delivered some solid efforts at Wolverhampton of late, most recently finishing second at that venue last month, and a 1lb rise in the handicap is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Wadacre Grace is capable on her day, although she remains 4lb higher than her triumph at Lingfield on her penultimate outing in early March and a bigger threat may emerge from Karatayka. The latter was last seen finishing only one length behind the selection at the West Midlands track and she now enjoys a 3lb pull with that rival.

VICTORIA FALLS has benefited from the application of a visor on her last 2 starts, getting off the mark at Wolverhampton before a good second at the same course, and she can score again in her current form. The 4-y-o can get the better of Strangerontheshore, who won on her return last year, while Karatayka could be able ot build on her reappearance effort.

In-form VICTORIA FALLS gets the verdict in the retained visor. Karatayka is feared most.

12/1(-33%)
(4) Inny Lad 12/1, Fair form. Ran creditably on form when fifth of 6 on 8.6f Wolverhampton debut in February but he looked a hard ride in first-time blinkers, hanging and carrying his head awkwardly. Cheekpieces the headgear of choice this time.
LTO Selection:

19:00 Newcastle Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CAMUSDARACH has improved with every start to date and his narrow defeat at Lingfield last time suggests that he can make a winning debut in handicap company off a mark of 72 here. Menalippe failed to fire when last seen at Newmarket in October but she is a player based on her previous form, while Eagle Prince is also noted on his return to action.

CAMUSDARACH improved with each start as a juvenile and if that trend continues he could take a bit of stopping on this handicap debut/reappearance. Menalippe, a dual winner on turf last autumn, is feared most with the James Ferguson team going well.

Lingfield runner-up CAMUSDARACH looks poised to go one better. Eagle Prince is feared most.

LTO Selection:

19:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

AS IF BY CHANCE put in an encouraging effort when third on his seasonal debut last month and he could be hard to beat with the benefit of that outing under his belt. How Impressive is an unexposed four-year-old who should be capable of making his mark at this level and may improve in first-time cheekpieces. Others to consider are Pockley and Mighty Power.

AS IF BY CHANCE was unlucky not to finish even closer when third over C&D 10 days ago and a similar level of performance might be enough to see him land this. Ron O has had a generally positive AW campaign and he's worth treating as if still in form after meetirng trouble last time, with Anif also well in the mix to add to his good course record.

There were traffic issues for a few of these runners in a similar event over C&D ten days ago. AS IF BY CHANCE fared best of them.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Newcastle Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BEELZEBUB progressed with each start as a juvenile and got off the mark at Chelmsford on his third attempt in December. James Ferguson's gelding begins life in handicap company off what appears to be a workable mark of 75 and is likely to take another step forward on this occasion. Saracen Head's best run to date came over C&D and he commands plenty of respect, while Lupset Flossy Pop and Katar are others worth considering.

BEELZEBUB was a decisive winner at Chelmsford when last seen and appeals as the type to go on improving, so is fancied to making a winning handicap debut. Lupset Flossy Pop ended last season in fine form and it's possible that she could resume her progress here, with Katar also respected back in a handicap.

Off a workable mark back at the scene of his best novice effort SARACEN HEAD (nap) holds strong claims. Beelzebub is second choice.

LTO Selection:

20:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Murbih was just denied here under a penalty over 5f on Friday, with Kraken Power just behind when dead-heating for fourth in the same contest, and the pair are likely to enter the reckoning once again. The vote, though, goes to the hat-trick seeking RHYTHM, who scored twice in the space of six days in October, including over C&D, and the mare is open to further improvement on her return. Athollblair Boy and Glorious Rio shouldn't be discounted either.

MURBIH has bounced back to form on his last 2 starts, so he is taken to quickly resume winning ways having narrowly been denied when runner-up here 3 days ago. Kraken Power has been running consistently well at this course and is feared most, ahead of Rhythm who bids for a hat-trick on her return.

Glorious Rio is interesting but the vote goes to REDZONE, who's best caught fresh and is back on a winning mark.
